Truth is I am not happy that I have been charged $39.80 monthly and haven't utilized the service since the initial offering. So when I called I was a little upset. But David listened to me and understand my frustration and needs. He was always positive and helpful.
William was really pleasant when I called to cancel my subscription. He politely gave the advantages for not cancelling and that they would be there in the future if I needed additional help finding a job.

Marketing of FREE 14 DAY TRIAL for "LiveCareer - Cover Letter Builder" (product) was clear, concise, and effective. Resource and services it provided, were able to address user's needs (as advertised). Disclaimers to inform customers of RECURRING AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS (following trial period) was not made clear. Disclaimer information appeared to be spread-out in separate, partial statements. If communication of this was complete and visually prominent... on sign-up window... customers would be better informed of binding agreement.

I had a problem with getting charged after I cancelled my subscription and heydi was more than helpful with straightening the problem out
My resume wasn't totally complete Peter went directly to the problem on my resume and he fixed a few words with no hesitation. He offered me more services and explained to me what time the company close. Peter was a lot of help to me. Now I can log back on to the job site. Hopefully get the job. Thanks again Peter.

This company is not concerned or sorry about stealing money from thousands of people. They will say, "We're very sorry for your experience. Please contact us directly, blah, blah, blah." When you contact them directly, it's an even further waste of your time because they will just give you the run-around and explain that "you KNEW you were signing up for a subscription." Ummm... no, I don't think most people will pay $40 a month to be able to edit a resume. This company is a scam! Buyer beware. You will think you're only being charged $1.95 to print your resume, when in reality you are signing up for a subscription. Of course, you don't find out about the $1.95 fee until you've already spent time creating your resume. The FREE, FREE, FREE that's plastered all over their website is FALSE ADVERTISING!

Thought I was paying for a one time access to a resume format, ended up paying a bunch more on a monthly base for nothing. Didn't realize I was getting charged until my bank put a hold on my credit card for suspicious activity because of LiveCareer's monthly charge.
However Rafael Santana, my awesome customer service guy was super nice and helpful and able to get me a refund on the last 5 month of charges which were almost $200, and cancel my subscription thing. Thank So MUCH Rafael!

The process of writing the resume was very good, when I received my statement for the purchase of the trial period and saw that the monthly chanrge for the resume service was going to be 34.95 per montht thereafter I decided to cancel my subscription. Thank you for the quick cancellation of the subscription.

The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because unless you keep your subscription, you cannot edit your resume at all.

I used a template to create a resume and it looked good when I reviewed it online; however, when I downloaded it, the formatting was problematic. I call Customer Service and spoke to Alexis who helped me with all of my concerns. He was kind, patient, very knowledgeable about the product, and provided excellent customer service.

I found myself looking for a job after funding was cut and circumstances all pointed to "leave now". I had been in my role for 15 1/2 years and hadn't put a resume together for quite some time. Answer: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchaser ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
