“My Opinion on Listia is THUMBS UP It Doesn't Deserve the Bad Rap!”

cindy s.
2/3/23

Listia has lots of bad reviews out there because it says "get stuff free" but some sellers make the BUYER pay shipping (I never charge for shipping). That's not Listia's fault, and you can always use the search filter for "free shipping only". I've been using Listia for years-I joined in 2011 and I still use it constantly today! Listia is an auction site for new or used stuff. As far as "free" goes, people are complaining because ALL sellers don't offer free shipping. I would like to think people understand this, but many don't. Someone must pay, and I don't think Listia deserves a bad rap because of this. But if the seller offers "free shipping", you really do shop for free because you pay for your winnings with credits! If the seller asks you to pay for shipping (which CAN'T be paid for with credits) then you can decide if it's worth it to you or not. There is always the option, too, of using the "FREE SHIPPING" search modifier, which is what I use. I LOVE Listia! I list handmade jewelry, small household or toiletry items, cell phones and other small stuff. In turn, I use the credits I get to bid on old, silver coins, SS jewelry, or craft supplies for my beading. I am more than happy with my time on Listia. When you sell something, you earn CREDITS, then use those credits to bid on stuff you want. Their aim is to keep stuff out of landfills and offer shopping for little money. Also, some sellers can be rude, or untrustworthy, like on any other site. YOU must check their ratings, verification and feedback before you buy! Now, that said you never know what you'll find up for auction! Here's some pointers: 1) List items that are small, lightweight, and cheap to ship. Some of the things I've seen listed that are cheap to ship are silver coins, baseball cards, jewelry, collectibles, clothing, electronics, and more... 2) You need to 'sell' stuff to earn credits. I suggest listing items that don't cost a lot to ship, then offering Free Shipping. Some items that are in high demand and command a lot of credits for you are Postage Stamps SS or Gold jewelry Collectible Coins Baby Clothes Cell Phones or cases Books or DVDs (and you can ask for "media mail" at the PO for a discount!) Gift Cards And much more. 3) Always use tracking numbers when you mail something, by using padded envelopes, so buyers can't say they never received it. If the envelope is still thin, put a little piece of Styrofoam or the like in the envelope so it's thick enough to warrant free tracking. 4) BEFORE you bid on something, read the description thoroughly. If it doesn't say 'free shipping' then you will have to pay it, and there will always be someone trying to make an extra buck by overcharging for shipping (ALSO not Listia's fault!). If the item is broken, not what you thought, empty...Listia will only return your credits if the ad description didn't warn you ahead of time. 5) ALWAYS check a seller's profile before buying. Check to see if they have their verification badges-or at least their phone number badge and Facebook badge (you should check their FB profile, too), negative feedback from buyers...Use caution if someone 1-has no profile picture, 2-just joined and it's their first (or one of the first few) listing. Final Word All sites, especially shopping or auction sites are going to have some issues. They are going to have buyers and sellers who are unscrupulous. Ebay has all of these. So does Bonanza, Tophatter, and many others. But millions of people still use them and love the results. Don't bash it until you've bought and sold just ONE thing. Keep it cheap, see how the site works, THEN make up your mind!

I don't recommend this after what happened to me! I have done nothing wrong and now my account says that I have to use non-purchased credit when I just bought more points to pay for my bids!

I have been with Listia since February 2010 so a long time! When I first learned about the site I thought the idea was genius. I still think it is. You offer your stuff up (used or new etc) to gain their "points" and when you have accumulated enough points you can use them to bid on things you want. It appears that they keep things afloat with ad revenue I presume and the team seems to work hard at trying to improve the site. There are always going to be people in this world that will try to scam others so remember the old adage. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Check people's feedback and reliability before bidding. Are they listing a brand new iPhone with no feedback? Yeah maybe don't bid on that unless you like headaches. xD I believe I use the site for what it is meant to be used for. Listing used things and trading them in for small possibly used things in return. If you want some premium item like a brand new gadget, or ebay gift card or very useful items clearly being dropshipped from Amazon you're going to end up paying more than they are worth because people are trying to profit. Also if you are wondering why people list a good bit of useless or overpriced items it's because the site encourages creating 5 listings a day for 25 free points. 5 points is 1 cent so it's only 5 cents a day but hey some people list things like vinyl stickers for 99 points so I suppose in 4 days you could get a completely free item from creating listings that end and never sell. This brings me to the issue of inflation. All those free points being given out daily can cause some inflation. However it does seem like inflation has finally stabilized on the site and the people managing the site claim they combat inflation by using some of their revenue from ads to pay for the auctions they host like more Amazon gift cards. Also the points Listia gets from their auctions plus all their final value fees are used to payout all those free point incentives they give away for listing items and referring others. You can list items completely free without paying any final value fees if you start the auction at 99 points and offer free shipping. Most of the complaints I've seen about Listia seem to stem from deals gone wrong or people that don't understand that you can't shove lumpy stuff (bracelets, belly rings, fat seeds, a clump of fat paper punches all in one spot) in an envelope and expect normal first class letter service (sometimes it makes it through but many times it does not or gets badly mangled). This site is basically a big garage sale and you will see people listing both trash and treasure. I personally use it for small flat items like stickers, used postage stamps, craft supplies/scrapbooking paper and the handmade stuff is fun to look at. There really is so much stuff to bid on honestly if you know where to look. It's a fun way to pass the time. No cash is involved either so no taxes which is a nice headache free way to declutter. :D

Tip for consumers:
Live with a grateful heart and you'll find joy everywhere.

I think people need to realize that you can't trust anything for face value. I'm new to Listia and I reported some middle schooler trying to auction off 2 laptops, and he was using images from Ebay, of all places. I got on the next day and his auctions had been deleted by Listia. So far I have won a $5 Starbucks Giftcard and a coupon for a free tub of Pillsbury Dough (cookie dough, biscuits etc.)

I think people just need to do a bit of research. If it looks like a stock image, you can drop the image into Google image search and it will find any versions of that picture on the internet. I do agree that Listia staff need their customer service skills looked at, but most of this stuff could be handles by people being a bit more cautious with what they bid on. If it looks to good to be true, it probably is!

Listia is great, however it needs some improvements. To start off, it is very risky to send a package without tracking number, making it unnecessarily expensive for Listians who want to offer free shipping within the marketplace. To counteract this, there should be a different way in which we can prove we sent out our packages, for example allowing us to record a video of us dropping the package at a USPS drop off point etc, this would encourage more "sellers" to add free shipping to their listings as it will reduce their overall expenses, after all this is a "free stuff" website, not eBay... Now to the infrastructure, in our listings, we should be able to offer FREE SHIPPING/PAID SHIPPING but with an extra cost, credits being the currency for which the buyer/bidder will pay for shipping, but instead of paying in dollars shipping should be paid in credits! Why hasn't this already been put into place? Also some buyers within Listia are just looking to rip sellers off, claiming the item arrived broken/not as described/empty package costing us Listian "sellers" more than we bargained for, also when users need credits they can buy right off of Listia with paypal/credit card, this is useful but after a while the price of credits keeps inflating, if you Listia is reading this please consider changing your credit prices from cheap to expensive every 3-6 months to stimulate a healthy economical value. Trust me I studied economics... Thanks!

I enjoy the idea of listia. And I really loved listia when I first joined, all the way up until about 1/2015. Something happened where they changed the credit value, and all the sudden items that were once 20,000 credits were now 85,000 credits. I wish I'd have held on to some of my stuff a bit longer since the credits have quadrupled in value in just a few short months. Then they changed the format of the rewards store where you could go and redeem awesome items immediately for the credits you accumulated. Well now the rewards store is an auction where you cannot get anything immediately, and the amount of credits these rewards store auctions end for is absolutely ridiculous compared to what they were listing as get it now offers just 6 months ago. But I've never had a problem with my account being suspended, I have however had to deal with not so pleasant moderators... :(

Listia has changed their rules and updated their rules. I've sold some items lately. And it's been good. The old review of mine just disregard they recently allowed more than one account per address this was a issue for me back when they allowed 1 account per address when I made my first account it took weeks to verify my address cause my brother had used that address and he moved out and lived elsewhere but Listia did fix it. Also the coupon thing is kinda different. I sold a one time redemption code on there it even said in the email it was a one time redemption code admin said it was a coupon and argued with me about it but I just said ok I won't post it again then I gave it away for free. So my review has gotten much better. Still there is weird experiences I had such as a lady sold me a bad gift code I disputed it they didn't allow me to reply for some odd reason but Listia gave me my credits back so it was all good. Other than that ppl do sometimes sell items too high. But if u look around you might find that one big good buy.

I have been a member of Listia since November 2012, less than a year now, and have won many amazing auctions and sold my own for what they're worth. Only had one negative transaction between me and a lady who wanted nothing for the starting bid on a tote bag I liked, but she wanted a whopping 99,999 for GIN. On top of that, she wanted $9.98 to be EXACT for shipping. The current bid had reached 30 credits, and I won it with that. I did somewhat notice there was something very wrong with those numbers, not to mention she had taken a very dark pic of the item, but I was still new to Listia and naive. It was a Kurt Cobain Rolling Stone tote bag, and being the big fan I am, I just had to have it regardless of whether I could see it. Lol It looked alright in the darkness of the picture, actually. But anyway, I sent the shipping in the form of concealed cash, because I do not have Pay Pal at the moment (waiting for my Pay Pal card to come in the mail now), and sent $1 in taped up quarters so it would not be obvious I was sending change (I sent change, yes, but I she was the one who wanted 98 cents). Did not receive the item, and was rated neutral by the seller for sending quarters, and supposedly having something wrong with my verified address, which is a big fat lie. Others before her had had no problem shipping to me. She claimed tracking confirmed it had arrived at my house. Here it is, months later, and I receive the item. I now know why the picture was so dark, the paint is peeling on the tote like she washed it without turning it inside out. Not only that, but she had my address wrong on the envelope, with absolutely NO tracking. She was the one with the problem, and reading through the feedback she received others have said she lists fake auctions with shipping and then rips you off, so buyer beware. I feel like a loser falling for her scam, but now I know better. I have still been sending concealed cash to some Listian's who will accept it for shipping, and haven't had another problem like with her. She's Gypsy Fire Moon for those who are concerned. Other than that, I have had nothing but smooth transactions and great feedback. I do plan to continue doing business on Listia. I might add that I am also on Social Security and still am able to afford shipping and such. I've purchased credits a couple times with a credit card of a family member who I paid back, because I have no credit card. But now I am waiting for my prepaid Pay Pal card which I'm sure will make shopping on Listia a lot easier.

I have been listing and selling, and buying. I had 95% great people. I have received everything I have won. Some of which were rather valuable. When you are dealing with the mases it is unfortunate but there is bound to be some bad experiences. I have had a few unpleasant experience with rude people, but that is not the majority. I do think the moderators of the site should do a better job. None of this negative stuff would be tolerated on Ebay.

Great so far. I did notice some of the negative feedback. In fairness if someone does not read the description or the shipping terms and ends up with something THEY misunderstood, that is not Listia's fault. If shipping says "digital" than it is a email not an actual item. Also, selling certain gift cards and getting suspended is also the users fault for not reading the terms and conditions. If a bidder does not receive what was stated credits will be returned. Important to READ and not get angry at a site for a personal mistake.

I am just here to tell everything that the bad experiences are from their own mistakes. You must do your research before you bid to make sure that you are bidding on a legit item that you will receive. Contact the winners of their previous auctions to confirm that they will ship to you.

I won a 3,300 credit bid for 6 games on a Thursday morning. By Saturday, it was already shipped out. By the following Thursday, the games were in my possession and all worked as stated.

The only bad experience I had was all of the auctions that were stolen right out from under me when someone bid higher than me right before it ended.

As for the cost of shipping, only look for Free Shipping auctions to get the best deals. This minimizes the shipping troubles. It also allows sellers to send stuff completely free since you can ship most of the stuff on Listia for free anyway through USPS.

Just tried using this site for the first time. It's pretty cool that you essentially get stuff totally free for just checking in, filling out your profile, tweeting about the site, listing items, etc. However, I wasn't knocked out by the selection of items available for purchase. Hopefully, the more people hear about the site and how easy it is to use, the more it will gain popularity and the better the selection will become.

July 28th, 2015

I first discovered Listia a year ago, and quickly grew to love it.
I am disabled (legally blind) so I would have my children help me set up auctions, write reviews, bid, etc.
Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that in some cases, my children were writing the reviews from their personal viewpoints- meaning, if I got my daughter a shirt, she would write what I told her, but replace 'my daughter' with 'I'.
One day, my ex wife checked up on the account (knowing it was mine) but made claims that it was our daughter alone using it, out of spite.
After over 40 successful transactions, with 100% positive feedback, I awoke one morning to find that my account had been banned... with over 100,000 credits on it. I attempted multiple times to contact Listia, but my support tickets were closed within a day of being filed by Mods. Without reason or response.
I then contacted one of the main Listia 'workers'; "Listia (insert name here)", but instead received incredibly nasty and condescending responses, as the Listia member was convinced that I was a child (talk about mistaken age- at 60 years old, you think my vocabulary would be enough evidence of my age.)
Eventually, I gave up entirely on Listia.

Now, a year later, I have found myself with plenty of useless junk. Listia immediately came to mind in terms of ridding myself of it...
I decided to give Listia another try.
I contacted Listia with a support ticket, explaining the situation in full. I only asked if I would be allowed to start a new account, and to verify my age and identity I offered to verify my account via credit card as well.
I didn't expect to get anywhere, but...
For the first time a Mod actually responded- and sent the support ticket up to the 'higher-ups' in Listia Customer Service.
Within the next day, a Customer Service Representative had contacted me- asking about my original account (usernames, details, etc.) And rather than have me start all over again, they gave me access to my ORIGINAL account- credits, feedback and all still remaining from a year ago.
I immediately reverified all of my information, and have begun using Listia again without issue. It has allowed me to provide splendidly for my children, where I couldnt before.

I am definitely a satisfied customer.

There are a few flaws to Listia, however...

1. As many have said over and over again, nothing is truly free- you either have to buy credits, sell items of your own (and usually pay shipping fees yourself) or do Surveys, offers, and free downloads. (Go to #2 to see why I advise AGAINST surveys and downloads.)
All of these little issues can be easy to get around, hence why I continue to use Listia.
For me, shipping fees are easy to get around. I always ship first class mail, in the smallest boxes/envelopes available, wrapped in paper, with tracking via OfficeDepot. The most I have ever paid for a package was $3.25. And believe me, it was a heavy item.
2.99% of the surveys, offers, and downloads are MALICIOUS. BEWARE. As an old member of Listia, my experience with them is truly the best you will find anywhere.
A very select few of these offers are valid. And either way, scam or not, I have always received my credits. But. It doesnt matter who these offers are from- Trialpay, Peanutlabs, etc. Most are scams, some mild, and some very dangerous.
I have had over 250 Trojans installed on my computer with the offers and downloads.
I have had a keylogger installed on my computer before.
I have had offers presented to me that appear to be from legitimate companies, but in fact they are not- meaning, if ANYTHING, even if what appears to be a genuine offer from someone like GameFly or Netflix pops up with the requirements of credit card info/addresses, do NOT enter that information. Avoid at all costs- the credits are not worth possible identity theft and fraud.
I have done a lot of research, and unfortunately, Listia isn't entirely at fault for this. I do believe they are unaware of what these third party scammers are actually doing through their website... all they know is that the dangerous ads they promote are the ads supporting the website financially.
3. There are many scammers on Listia. It is impossible to scroll through a page of items for auction without at least one of the items being a scam of some variety or another.
There are very easy ways to get around this, however...
If you are unsure of whether or not the seller is a scammer, look for:
Feedback. If it is at 0%, don't bid.
The description of the item for auction: If there is little to no information, likely a scam.
Pictures: If there are only a few pictures, and the pictures look a bit too professional- probably a scam. If you use Chrome, you can easily find out if the auction is a scam by left clicking on the images, and then clicking "Search with Google". Google will show you all results for the exact image, in different sizes, and will show you exactly where the images are from. This will tell you if the seller stole the images off of another website, making it a RED FLAG.
4. My fourth and final issue with Listia is the fact that, although the layout of the website is incredibly simple. It is simple to the point where many people do not take business on there seriously. Meaning, often unlike websites such as Ebay, potential buyers are much more open about. Everything.
They will make rude comments, they will ask invasive questions, and they WILL be demanding. It can be hard to deal with, and occasionally you come across people that are more than rude- they are scary. I have met many other users whose lives, personal information, and family were threatened on Listia before by "bad" users. Listia does make an effort to remove those people from the site, but unfortunately there are just too many to do so without making some huge changes.

I have been selling on Listia for a year now. I sell small items I no longer want or new gifts I can't return. It is a fun way to stay on top of clutter and earn points for things you do want. Start small, though. Shipping costs need to be factored in before you list. That is why I stick to small, lightweight items like jewelry and bookmarks.

As with any site, there are going to be negative and positive aspects. I personally have had a good experience using Listia. I got a good amount of credits when I started my Listia account because they give you 500 credits and because I signed up through a Facebook friend's referral link which gave me bonus credits. I did some surveys online and got credits, and have listed items (small items that don't cost much to ship).

I try to only bid on items with no shipping or very little shipping. I have gotten rolls of duct tape for my daughter, Betsey Johnson jewelry, make-up, etc. I got all of these things for free. Luckily I work a desk job and can lurk my watchlist while I'm working and pounce on items last minute when there's only seconds to go and win things for a reasonable amount of credits.

I wouldn't list big items I want to get rid of as shipping for those things wouldn't be worth it for me and like other people have stated, most people don't bid on auctions that require payment for shipping. I list jewelry, single clothing items, etc.

The only thing that upset me and discouraged me from Listia was their feedback system. I ordered some Betsey Johnson items from someone who claimed it was authentic. Out of the whole lot of 6 items (that I got fairly cheap) I had a few items that I didn't particularly see as my style so I relisted them. I ended up getting bad feedback (both items purchased from the same person) because she said they were fake. Even though I assured her I did not know the items were fake (I really didn't, they looked legit to me) and I gave her back her credits and $2 shipping, she still ruined my reputation over it and I definitely didn't deserve it. I should have disputed it but I didn't realize all this would happen. I'm still working up to at least have enough items listed that I can get a 99% feedback rating. But I wonder how this woman posting fake Betsey (she has hundreds of items on two different accounts and I know other people have told me that they were fake after the fact) has a 100% feedback... makes no sense! Oh well...

If you're careful, Listia can be an awesome site. I'm a bit addicted myself :)

Ive been on a few months. I offer free shipping because people dont bid much.of they have to pay for shipping. I use to watch the videos giving me 40 credits but now they quit giving me. Credits. For that and then tried finding other free credits that wouldn't spam my phone like games downloaded or stores and would complete and no credits given. When we go in the minus cause we pay for shipping then try and get some free its not fair that we dont get them. When we want to lost for more. Credits then listia takes so many which should be lowered. I pay for shipping and want more free videos or something like the slideshows that wont harass my phone or if i download and check. Out a game for. 2000 credits id like to. Get it
Overall have loved it and a blast.

I'm really so upset about a problem that i'm having on Listia. I don't understand why the moderators dislike me so much.
I have been enjoying this site for months... i think i'm addicted to it... but that's going to have to change i guess. I had a really good auction of an old Waltham Pocket Watch of my Dad's. A lot of people were interested in it and i got a nice high bid. The person that won gave me positive feedback. And a couple days later wanted his credits back. The moderator sided with him, without telling me why. I had not broken any rules.
I guess the worst part is that i don't have 400,050 credits to refund. So i'm sure i will end up banned soon. Very sad and upset :(

I heard of Listia about two years ago. I never looked into it because I didn't know anyone personally who sold on there or how it worked. I've been selling online since I was fifteen on various sites and my own personal website that I closed down due to a now much more frantic schedule. I'm 21 and last month I decided to give them a try after a friend said if you need to unload some of your games and extra collectibles, my cousin is really fond of Listia.com

They don't charge you anything unless you use the GIN feature, I don't know how they make anything from Sellers x_x
The moderators are very kind and helpful even when not asked to help. I've been on Listia nearly a month and I think it's perfect. I put up my auctions on low bids and they do nicely, even if they don't, it's a win-win since I'm just trying to get rid of the collectibles and video games I don't need or have extras of. Shipping isn't that pricey in my opinion since first class is up to 13oz and priority is cheap too as long as you do your own labels so I always offer free shipping and I don't believe I'm losing out anything by doing that. I'll admit these reviews nearly scared me away but I'm glad I decided to give it a chance anyways.
Have nothing bad to say except for some of the buyers who take a bit to leave feedback. I upload tracking right after I ship so I know when the items are delivered and I feel like I have to spam some buyers to get the feedback, days after they get the item. I wish for sellers who use tracking there would be an email or something once the item gets delivered to the buyer, telling the winner to please leave feedback or something. Well over all, it's fun, it's free and it's nice to help other gamers and collectors get what they need for their personal collections if I put something they need up. I'm very pleased with the site thus far, only have had to block two users so far and I'm also thankful for that feature :) it protects me and the future serious bidders from bidders who will win and then decided they don't want my item after all. I understand that the rules say the seller has the right to keep the credits in that case but it's just too cruel for me personally so I refund and block.

It's a legit site, it's not a scam. I'm sure the negative posters have their reasons but this has been my experience on the site so far. Nothing bad to say and no I don't work for them, I'm just being an honest reviewer for the people looking into creating an account on the site.

For the most part I like Listia. I've been using it for quite a while now and I have managed to dress my daughter fully this far and have enough clothes until she is 2 (she is 9 months old). I bought a new wallet for my husband and a set of awesome ear phones for my iPod. All in all I am actually satisfied.
I have however encountered quite a few people on Listia that don't like playing along.
In the most recent case I won a package of summer clothes. It was a good auction for me and it ran me about 2500 credits. It all seemed legit, but the seller was extremely slow to respond. I got her to tell me her PayPal address after 2 days and then I waited.
No package ever arrived. I only got 2 excuses and no further communication from the seller. About 30 days after the end of the auction I decided to stop this sharada and requested a refund. The seller didn't respond and I was refunded 5 days later. I also got a refund from PayPal. That was my experience with customer service as a buyer.
As a seller I remember my first ever auction on Listia. It was a book, the one that started the series "Army Wives" and the buyer was anxious to get it. Everything went fine. I sent it off, as soon as I received the shipping money ad had it tracked. Shortly thereafter I get a message that the package never arrived. It was my first auction, so I forgot to stick my tracking number in. I added that. It looked like they didn't realise I was tracking it an tried to get it for free. In the end I won. I had proof that I sent the package off and I had proof that it arrived at the address that was saved in the buyers account.
Yes there are a few people on Listia who try to scam people, but so far I have only had positive experiences with either the sellers/buyers or customer service, truth be told.
I don't get any benefit from writing this and I am not a scam. I am just your average run off the mill user who likes to get their stuff as cheaply as possible. I use Listia because it doesn't ransack my budget. On the other hand though I am also not going for items thy are too prone to being fakes. I wouldn't by jewellery on Listia and I wouldn't go for anything that is advertised as a brand... Not only because they might be fakes, but also because the auction is usually very high in credits and that would defeat the purpose.

You have to use common sense when using ANY site such as this. It's like buying a used car. Most of the auction descriptions are "PUFFED" AND YOU ALWAYS NEED TO KEEP THAT IN MIND ALONG WITH THE ASSERTIONS OF RARITY AND ONE OF A KIND. WHEN I'VE BEEN UNSURE OF SOMETHING, i'VE LOOKED THE ITEM UP AND DONE RESEARCH ON THE ITEM IF I/M REALLY INTERESTED. I HAVE BEEN SURPRISED AT THE DUMBNESS OF SOME PEOPLE WHEN THE COMMENT SECTION OF AN AUCTION IS FILLED WITH WARNINGS AND THEY STILL INSIST ON BIDDING. PEOPLE HAVE TO LEARN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS AND STOP BLAMING OTHERS FOR THEIR POOR DECiSIONS. I've only met the nicest people sweet, kind and dear. There have been a few scammers but I managed to win out over them because of my superior feedback rating. My biggest gripe is with the listia moderators who apparently rely on formulaic responses that sometimes border on the absurd. I think moderators should be able to respond in real time or as close to it as possible so frustrated buyers/sellers don't have to deal with inane and useless replies. S orry about the typing, i'm not good at it.

Tip for consumers:
use your head and do research on an item you're interested in,don't just bid willy nillywhen selling, take lots of good pictures so you can prove item's pre-mailing condition to save yourself from the scammers. If sellers aren't VERIFIED don't bid until they get it done. It's the best protection listia offers.

Hi Listia. ( Is it Tom?)
I happened upon this site and I read quickly through the column. Wow! What a bunch of babies. Whine, whine, whine! I've taken 3 losses. One, Listia was kind enough to try and solve. I didn't know the name of the Company I did the survey for. About 8000 points gone. I spent some time doing the survey but so what.
I will phone about 2 other problems. I lost a few points (so far). I don't yet know whether they will come through! I'll speak to you with no malice and see what you have to contribute to my situation. I've had 2 deaths in my family since October and missed many things I wanted. Poor me.
Having said this, I'm enjoying Listia. There are a great many nice souls out there. Some very kind. A few misfits. Ho, hum. I learned from a wise man long ago, If I think of them constantly, they win. They are not thinking about me constantly I'm certain. It's better to enjoy the good points (pun intended). In time I will likely change my rating to 5 stars. I like you guys. You seem fair to me. To the public who hate so deeply. Haven't you better to do. You'll give yourself a hernia and I'm not kidding. 300,000 points about $300.00 in cash. I bet you've lost more gambling. Alpl

It's a fun place to upcycle things in your house. The problem is, once you've cleared your stuff, you want to bid on other people's things. You do run into a few scammers, but they're easy to spot the more you are there.

Plus you can get your credits back, simply by opening a ticket. There is also a block button if need be.

Tip for consumers:
It's like ebay but for credits, not money.
