Very poor customer service. They don't follow up with the prescription requests and get an attitude on the phone when you call about it. They lie and say that they have not received a fax from the doctors office, when in actuality the fax is there. They are just too damn lazy to handle their business. I will be calling Medicare to voice my complaint. Never again will I do business with this SORRY COMPANY!

I have been on hold waiting for Lincare to answer my call... sitting at 1 Hour and 26 minutes. I bet they never answer the phone, because they no why I am calling. I have had my CPAP machine for 7 or 8 months and I changed insurance Jan. 1st - so now they start the clock over on the rent to buy program. I want to just buy it. I have actually reached several people - but they all say the same thing - "oh we can't help you with this, you will need to speak with billing" - then they transfer me and I stay on hold for ever! My advise is to just buy your CPAP machine on-line. I found my mode for $800. Had I just purchased it up front, I would be money ahead and not be a the mercy of this EVIL COMPANY! Still on hold now 1 hour 30 min. And counting.

In my view and experience, Lincare and its staff are pathetic, merciless, incompetent, give run around, don't care about patients, lose documents, do not refund even when they get the item returned, keep passing buck to other people, never provide their name or ID and will not be able to find what other rep did during previous conversation, make you repeat the whole story endless times, make false promises, say will call us back but never do.

They are a dis-service to US healthcare and are unkind to patients. Their dedicated i-Care team is worthless and loyal to their un-responsive corporation making sure patients concerns are lost in the system of transferring from one department to other like a Ping-Pong ball. They will make you hold on phone forever!

I think US Attorney General should investigate the business practices of this company in the interest of patients' health.

Beware!

Double ships, short ships, returns not credited. Be prepared to wait over 1 hour to reach someone in billing and 15+ minutes to someone in supplies. When asked for supervisor, will be told in meeting and they will not call back when you give them your phone number. Checking with my insurance company to see if I can go somewhere else.

I am SHOCKED at the prices that Lincare charges for items - just because they bill an insurance company. Full Mask was $333.51 from Lincare and $16.93 from Amazon. Headgear was $70.30 from Lincare and $9.50 from Amazon. I am surprised that some law enforcement agency has not shut down Lincare - they are stealing from our insurance companies. No wonder our insurance is so high! Just awful

We have never had a problem with them. We moved from Michigan to Wilmington, NC and Lincare here in Wilmington has been wonderful. The staff in the office and our delivery on Thursday by the young man named Zeke. My husband's CPAP thing's are delivered every month on time. Thank You, Lincare.

I worked for Lincare for one year worst year of my life they do not care what so ever about the patient or patients needs they are only worried about making money management is a joke worst job ever, do yourself a favor and find a new company and if you are wanting to work at lincare just don't you will regret it!

I won't use

Since Friday I have been on hold for over an hour and hung up on two times after a long wait. I finally had my doc cancel the order and send it to another company. I didn't feel I had to use them as their customer service sucked on the front end. Don't think it would be any better on the back end

No supplies

Supposedly I should be getting 2 filters and 2 replacement nasal pillow replacements. I've had my CPAP machine since September and I've only gotten supplies once. Every time I call again they tell me my doctor isn't sending in the paperwork needed to get the supplies. I was just at the doctor's office last week and the receptionist said she faxed the paperwork numerous times. Lincare is outright lying to me. The doctor's office sent the paperwork in AGAIN. I called Lincare again and they won't acknowledge my calls, or call me back. I've. Had bronchitis and a sinus infection since not getting my supplies. This is NOT good. This place is supposed to help people stay well not do things that make them sick!

5 months and no progress
November 16, 2020

I have been trying to get someone from Lincare to either repair or work with my insurance on a new cpap machine since June and they keep passing me between 2 Lincare sites. 8 people have promised to call me back not 1 did. My doctors office has contacted them several times and no response. I do not have a working machine and my sleep has been horrible. No customer service whatsoever.

Absolutely horrible company, from every perspective. This time, they sent me the wrong supplies. I called, waited forever, and was told that I'd be sent correct supplies and a return form. Now, one week later, I'm told (absolutely unapologetically) that "it normally takes 10 days to PROCESS the error forms." WORSE than the VA! Service is not only horrendous, but so is customer service. They are the worst customer-facing business I've ever dealt with, by a long shot, and I'm 72 years old!

Worst survice providers ever
June 28, 2023

They used to bring the equipment to our door. Now that my CPAP has failed, they want me to drive 40 miles to evaluate the machine to determine repair or replacement. In the meantime, I have no CPAP. They have tried to double bill us on many occasions. I will consult with my doctor to find another supplier.

Seriously, how do they stay in business? They have no consideration for working people. Each time the concentrator on the oxygen machine needs to be serviced, we get the same old line - no evening or weekend hours. Recently, we made arrangements to be home in the morning so the concentrator could be serviced and received a call they would be at our home in the afternoon! Of course the individual who called passed the buck to the supervisor who ironically was not there when I called (still waiting for the call back) and the issue remains unresolved. Their inconvenient hours and mediocre service forced me to look elsewhere.

Very, very rude. I was trying to clarify what the phone call was about, Lincare rep was very aggravated and only wanted to argue. In desperation I hung up phone. My bad. Oh well I'm 87 and losing ground every day. They don't need to be pleasant to talk to. Time will take care of that One star only because 0 star was not listed

Horrible company

They need to be put out of business. The worst company I have ever dealt with. They never returned my calls. Stopping sending me Capp supplies. My insurance was paying 100% of my cost. They just stopped sending me anything and would not tell me why. No one knows what the other one is doing.

I contacted Lincare to get a itemized bill. 7 days ago. Mail came today. No itemized bill, but a nasty collection letter. Called Lincare to verify my itemized bill was mailed. NEGATIVE not mailed because the lady that assured me it would be in tomorrows mail didn't verify my address. As a business claiming to be A+ in customer service, you should have contacted me to verify my address. This was not my fault. It was your telephone operator. This is not the first time I have been duped by Lincare. Had the same run around trying to get supplies. Called the assured they were on there way. Called a week latter, some lame excuse why they were not sent out. Invest in training! Before inspire takes all of your cpap sales away!

Avoid This Company

If possible, buy your CPAP supplies from anyone other than this group of incompetents. I changed my insurance to Medicare and a Medicare supplement policy when I retired. I have been trying for three weeks to get supplies ordered. I was just on hold for 50 minutes listening to their mind numbing hold music. A different person then the one I originally talked to finally picked up the phone. I once again explained the problem and how I was in desperate need of supplies. She says someone will call me back, the same thing I've been hearing for three weeks. I need to get a new prescription and a new supplier who actually gives a damn. Lincare certainly doesn't.

Respiratory Therapist, Su Barry delivered my cpap machine to me in my home. She took time to explain its features to me & called me 2 days later to check on how I was doing. She'd been following my usage, answered my questions, gave me support & welcomed me to follow up with her as needed. Thank you, Su!

Absolute nonsense. Calling their corporate office is a joke. Anything they tell you will NOT be done and you'll end up calling over and over. I have tried for SIX MONTHS to update my address and insurance info. Today was 45 minutes of mostly being on hold, to be given the same answer that was supposed to have taken care of the billing issue six weeks ago.

They sent me the wrong supplies. Billed my insurance. I have been calling for 5 weeks and have still not received the correct supplies. STAY AWAY from this company. I got a different story every time I called. Even the managers lied.
