When I signed with this company, I was told I would have an Oxygo portable concentrator in about a month, time for them to order and deliver. Three months and counting. Now they tell me I'll have to wait for one to become available, i. E., someone either dies or has a worsening condition requiring different equipment.
I have been a customer since May 8 for life saving Home Oxygen, prescribed for 24/7. I was promised that a portable concentrater would be made available on my doctor's and insurance approval. I obtained that and am still waiting, the only answer I get is "it's coming" Well so is my death and I would love to be able to go out to dinner or some other entertainment before I die. They have provided tanks, but I am in no condition to load, unload, and haul tanks behind me. I could have purchased my own, and should have saving all this aggravation. I was also over billed by the company on signing up, so much so that in 6 months I still have a credit balance. They never bothered to get the right amount from the insurance company. This is not like buying a TV or some entertainment device, this is literally needed to stay alive.
Had to use medical supply company for the last few years. Lincare is absolutely horrible offering NO customer service, no concern for their customers. They sure bill well, but that's it. No accommodation for deaf and this last one - my machine cpap, which I received thru them, was recalled. Lincare didn't contact me, it was a fluke that I found out. Altho I've contacted them many times to find if they offered an alternative, and to find out why they didn't tell me, they've told me only to contact manufacturer. I'd already done this and told them and again ask if they offered an alternative. The local Lincare moved without a word to customers. Just left town. Now they are over 40 miles away and I was told to go there. An absolute horrible company.
It takes better than a month to receive parts, they bill you and threaten you with collections on parts that haven't showed up. Lincare will not provide prices on the supplies so anyone with a high deductible paln gets screwed. I just switched to another provider to avoid these crooks.
I was enrolled in auto-pay without my permission. Received an inaccurate bill. Hold time of 2 hours. Issues still not resolved. Representative stated that charges on my bill are not what are in the "system". So, they are simply arbitrary numbers? When the 12 month rental on my cpap machine is finished, I'm finished with Lincare. Getting a replacement machine was INSANE! Provided wrong fax number, couldn't find the order when they received the "correct" fax. 2 months total. Very frustrating experience.
I have been battling with these people for 3 months now. My copay went from 42.26 down to 32.06 starting January. Have even paying the 42.06. Was promised in March that they were correcting the problem to just pay 32.06. Next bill came for 32.06. May bill came for 42.26. Lol. Told me nit to pay because I was overpaid by 40.00. Now, talked to them again and got no where again. Now I get past due notices. Say owe them over 80.00. They owe me 50.00. Too big. There has to be somewhere where I can file a complaint.
Then when we go to the office in Wheeling to get supplies we have to wait 10 to 15 minutes before they come out and wait on us. Poor, poor company and service.
In the last 18 months I've spent over 125 HOURS on hold trying to contact the billing department. Now they are telling me to call immediately or they will turn me into a collection agency! I'm on hold for the third hour as I write this.
We have called multiple times and were sent from person to person to get our insurance coverage changed and to also have them confirm that the new insurance company will be honored by them. Went through this a few years ago also. Company is very eager though to send notes for refills of supplies. The worst, what are other options out there?
In my opinion this company deserves 0 stars, customer service more like non service. I have had the worst experience dealing with this company, they follow through with absolutely nothing they tell you. I called in last week the phone was answered by someone talking to another talking very disrespectfully about a previous patient call then apparently realized I was on the phone she hung up. They have never spoken to me on the phone in any type of a professional manor, always acting as if it I was a bother to them. All I have been trying to accomplish for the last month is return a cpap machine and again lied to twice it will be picked up. So I will be returning it tomorrow and have no further contact with this mediocre company
I urge anyone looking for a company such as Lincare look elsewhere, this location is less than subpar. 0% customer service
The company is capitalizing on the virus and looking forward to people getting sick so they can make more money. They are not following cdc recommendations. They have provided little to none protective equipment for employees, they have increased sales, and increased traffic in between homes. They do not care about employees or customers.
My issue: Poor follow thru on CPAP prescription.
I had my sleep test done in October 23 2021. Prescription was sent to Lincare. I had no response from Lincare and phoned them on Feb 17th.
Was told that my Rx will be submitted to my insurance and Medicare for approval. Why was that not sent for approval till I phoned?
Was told I will be contacted after my insurance providers respond. Waited till April 11th and phoned Lincare. Then only a setup appointment was made for me. Issue: Why didn't Lincare phone me as promised?
These sequence of events show Lincare has very poor patient followup. If I have my choice I would look for another provider. Such a company is awful and ought not to exist.
Docs ought to send patient prescriptions to other providers. Lincare is definitely not my provider of choice. Stay away from Lincare
This company has the WORST customer service. It took us OVER 6 weeks to get my mother-in-laws oxygen. They gave her a concentrator and a portable oxygen unit. The display on the portable unit went out. I called and left a message with the answering service on Sunday. NO call back Monday. On Tuesday I called them again. They will pick up the unit but it will be 2 weeks before we get it back. They told me to use a portable oxygen tank. Ok. Can they drop it off when they pick up the unit? No. They don't have them. I asked if she was suppose to just sit next to the concentrator for 2 weeks? AND THEY SAID YES! Thank God she doesn't have a doctors appointment until next month. This company is the absolute worst!
How they stay in business is a miracle! You wait and wait until they answer your call. They give you the run around and pass the buck to another representative My husband has been waiting for the very small portable you can put over your shoulder since October, 2017, I called to have them take the oxygen out of my home and told them my husband had passed away, the person who answered the phone didn't, have the decency to extend her condolences. I mentioned the long wait for getting the small carry on oxygen and all she said was OKAY! I would never do business with them again and I would never refer them to anyone. I absolutely agree with some of the other reviews
This company has become the biggest $#*! show. They have sente the wrong supplies the last 3 times. When I returned It It took me calling them and then they said they resent tubing and gave me a false tracking. I've switched companies and I can't get new tubing cause they charged my Insurance for something I never received. That's only a couple things.they screwed up on.
My doc sent my prescription over and after talking to about 4 people on three phone calls it comes down to have them resent despite having confirmation. I said I sure will have them sent to another company. They wouldn't do anything other than look at their computer screen.
I received my Cpap on 1-7-19. The agreement in the contract was to rent it for 1 year then it was mine. I lost my job in June and had to change insurance. In February of 2020 I received another bill for rental. I called and was told that because my insurance changed the rental agreement started over in June which now means it will be a year and 6 months. What other reason would they do this except to scam people that need one. The worst of the worst.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Michelle W. Excellent customer service again. I've been with Lincare for over 20 years. Never had an issue with them. Michell W was very helpful of obtaining my new mask and contacted me about the process when I will be receiving my full equipment,. Excellent personal service when I had to go down to Farmingdale New Jersey to fix my machine or to get a new one very easy to contact and to get supplies when needed once again thank you for the excellent customer service as always.
It's unfortunate that when one has a simple request like asking the company to re-schedule an appointment to pick up oxygen tanks and accessories, they say yes, the appointment has been changed to a more convenient date and time. Then the next thing, there they are, calling that the driver is in the area and ready to pick up. I was attempting to save my mother some time and more grief as I ended up having to work the day I originally scheduled the pick up. They went ahead and insisted on showing up anyway. Highly frustrating that my call was a waste of time. The only nice thing is that the driver, Martin, was always super helpful and friendly. In my opinion, customer service is always the first and most important aspect of any business.
They let my patient go 9 days after discharging without any nutrition for her peg tube feedings. They said they could not get the insurance authorized and the patient has three of the best insurances. She has Medicare, BC secondary and Tricare for a third. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with.
Spent 2 days trying to contact them set up a CPAP account and failed on the rare occasion they answer the phone they transferred me to somewhere else where they wouldn't answer the phone. How does a company like this stay in business? Why not have zero Stars because they don't even deserve one. B6
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
