Find another supplier!

I can't say the employees were rude, but their accounting doesn't seem to know what it's doing. I'm pretty sure I was overcharged but to be honest, the mounds of statements I'd need to go through to between their bills and the 3 insurance companies I had to deal with wasn't worth my time to prove the overcharge. I did switch to a different company for supplies, so Lincare got its last penny from. British Air still is my all time worst customer service experience, but Lincare is close.

I got my CPAP in February, 2019. This is the end of July, 2019 and still have the original supplies that came with the machine. Have not been able to order new supplies from these business, no return calls, they are difficult to contact. When contact is made you have to start the issue from the beginning. They promised to call and you never hear from them. I asked my doctor to find a new supplier for me.

Avoid this company

At the end of December 2021 I started the process of acquiring a new CPAP machine for my husband whose old one was giving him a warning that it was about to stop working. I made my first call to Lincare, talked with a seemingly competent man, who made it sound like replacement would be simple. 6 months later and it's proven to be anything but that. I have spoken with multiple people in the local branch, everyone has a different story. Earlier this month I was assured that everything was fine, all the documentation from ourprescriber had been received, and we were in the queue for a new machine. Received a call this morning saying they needed more information and it was the doctor's office's fault. My mild mannered was so provoked he shouted at the person who called. This company should not be in the medical field.

Disgraceful
December 14, 2018

My husband became a patient of Lincare two weeks ago and the first time we needed more oxygen therapy equipment has been a nightmare. How can a company providing medical services have such poor management that deliveries promised on Wednesday for Thursday afternoon still haven't been made as of 9pm Friday night. The call center personnel have been polite and sympathetic but we have not heard a word from either the delivery driver or anyone in management despite multiple phone calls from us and promises from the call center staff. We have been without a regulator since Wednesday afternoon.

Worst Company Ever!
September 11, 2020

I've been working with Lincare for over a year now and they are the worst company ever! Just last night they called me with a "courtesy call" to see if I wanted to pay my bill. I'm doing the best I can and making, what is to my budget, a substantial payment each month. I was one day late and they were already calling me. When I told the woman that I didn't want to make a payment right then because I was driving, she hung up on me! Geez... I wish I had never gotten my CPAP machine from them.

Terrible Service

No surprise that Lincare gets such bad reviews! While my CPAP generally works well, I've had 2 nights --last month and night before last -- when it would just shut off when it got up to pressure. I tried about 8-10 times to get it going again, with the same result before I gave up. I called 3-4 times after the first instance, and once again yesterday. I eventually got it to work again, but they appear to have zero interest in being helpful. If you need CPAP, try anyplace else but Lincare.

My company in Michigan was bought out by this dreaded company I thing in 2014 or 15. It took probably one year to get things transferred as a current customer. They they finally placed an order for me and when I went to reorder 6 months later, my account was on hold. It took two more months to get off hold and place another order. I called once a week and got the same story. When I told them I was switching companies, my account was freed up within a week. I have ZERO confidence that this company and I anything correctly. I will switch when my script expires b cause I HATE this company,

I have been with LinCare for many many years. It first started out with billing. They was over charging me and Medicare. I ended up having to call Medicare to fix it they wouldn't, The office staff is very rude and seems very uncaring. They don't send my c pap supplies ever on time, If u can find somewhere else u would b better off.

Horrific

If you are looking for a company that is empathic and is willing to go the extra mile - this is not the company. I spoke with 3 different people - each one never properly identified themselves, two were to be in upper management. They were rude and condescending and aggressive. In the profession to assist people with alternatives/products to assist their health needs so they may have a productive life, you will not find that understand or empathy. They do not understand the fears one may go through in their change of the life. Shame on them!

I have been trying to get an explanation of my Mother's bill. Called about 4 times left on perpetual hold over 25 minutes. Even got a letter saying to dial ext 200 you need a 5 digit extension. The only time I got them about another bill they said they could not talk to me.we filled out the form so they can talk to me 3times. If they want to sue a disabled 96 yrs old let them.

Awful

This company is the worst. They lied to me not once but twice. They claimed not to have my medical record saying that they needed a secondary diagnosis then said they asked my MD for paperwork and did not. They sat on my order for over 3 months. I am getting my equipment from another company that was prompt, courteous and ethical

Although the employees are very helpful getting transferred to other departments is a nightmare! It's a horrible phone policy in the event you need to be transferred.
All this has caused me to take my business elsewhere.

I've been a patient of Lincare for over 10 years and their customer service has completely gone down to zero. I've been trying to order sleep apnea supplies for over 6 months now and they will not ship them to me. My insurance has not changed and after taking two different days off from work to get downloads they are saying they need another download. I've spent numerous hours on they phone and their customer service is absolutely useless. I hope this company goes out of business

Whenever I called Lincare for supplies, there is a long wait. Now that I learned to have patience and wait as long they want me to, after my call finally gets connected, Lincare drops my call as soon as it gets connected! It is very frustrating.
What a waste of time.
This has happened several times I tried so it does not seem to be just a random technical issue.
What amazes me is that Lincare really does not care about the bad reviews they are getting.

Poor Customer Service

You can never speak to anyone in their CSR division. You wait for hours on the phone or if you leave a message, they are to call you back within 24 hours and they never do. If you go on their website and hit contact us you can speak to a Rep. Since October when I placed an order and they left out the filters, I just received them last Saturday. Several months ago they sent the wrong size. Terrible customer service and I will be switching to another provider. They are the worst.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They picked up their awful equipment (oxygen concentrator) in February 2017, still being billed for it nearly six months later because they can't find the equipment! I have called repeatedly and it seems this is my problem that they can't find their own equipment picked up by their own employee. After nearly four months of complaining the local company said oh, we'll just mark it as received and go from there. What? So they lose or misplace equipment and then write it off? Is that why they charge the free they do and continue to bill you insurance for months on end? To cover their incompetence? Horrible customer service to boot. Go anywhere but lincare!

The staff is incompetent. They lie to cover up their mistakes. They sent me a letter because God forbid, they NEVER return phone calls but they will send a letter with the wrong phone number to contact them. I ended up calling Maine. Do not give them business, I have even dealing with this since last year and still no CPAP machine.

Prior to me developing COPD, I managed several pharmacies that specializes in long term disease management. I am professionally trained as a health care provider.

Simply stated, Lincare has no active interest in quality patient care, or patient follow up. Their primary focus is insurance billing, and everything else is secondary. I am very fortunate that I do not have to solely rely on them for my pulmonary care, that I am trained in medicine, and that I have purchased secondary backup equipment. Unfortunately, my backup equipment has had to be used because they do not schedule routine maintenance, and wait for equipment failures. Otherwise, they only strictly focus on billing, which probably represents 80% of their staffing man hours.

Pick another provider. Your life could be lost due to a no maintenance policy by Lincare.

I cancelled my automatic delivery of CPAP supplies and they kept sending them anyways and charging me. Even after I used the mailer they sent, I continued to get bills. Talking to customer service did nothing despite them saying the problem was resolved. I had to threaten to call the Attorney General and BBB before someone took care of the issue. Months of frustration. It would be better to go without durable medical supplies than to use these incompetent fools again.

When I signed with this company, I was told I would have an Oxygo portable concentrator in about a month, time for them to order and deliver. Three months and counting. Now they tell me I'll have to wait for one to become available, i. E., someone either dies or has a worsening condition requiring different equipment.
