I exchanged e-mails with Light in the Box for weeks asking for a full refund. They continuously countered by offering only a 60% refund or 70% off the cost. Only after threatening to file a complaint with Pay Pal did they finally relent to a full refund. I then had to jump thru many hoops. Sending photos of shorts, tags, tape measurements, then shipping back overseas using a complicated return address. On 07/14/2023 I finally received a purchase and return shipping refund. This however was minus a "Fee." So long story short, I still received less than I paid.
I ordered previously dance dresses, that fit well according to the size and look good. I like them. But lately I did a number of orders ( not for dancing) that all arrived in the size I ordered according to the size table, but actual size is much smaller.
Now, I am not sure what size to choose if I will find something that would like to order.
My first order took nearly a month to receive. The quality of their product is OK. My second order has been in Pending stage for over two weeks, and my inquiries have gone without response. I will not do further business with them due to their terrible customer service. Do not order anything unless you are willing to wait a month or more to receive them.

I was very concerned that the outfit wouldn't fit or it would looked cheap and poorly made. It exceeded my expectations across the board. I love it! It fits perfectly, I got the size 18 and as you can see in the picture it looks great. It is lined and well made. It took a while to get it, so if you're in a hurry do expedited shipping if possible. I would not deduct a star for that because I am so very happy with this purchase.
I can understand the long delivery time caused by corona.
However, as to the two dresses and the blouse bought, it was not worth waiting.
I even sent photos and sizes, but it was just a mess.
LTB was also selling a dress which they did not have nor could not get "due to high demand", but returned the money for that dress within five weeks.

Am so glad I ordered this dress, it is so worth it! The colors are as vivid as the photo but the layout on mine is different which makes my dress unique in a certain way. It fit me so perfectly and I had many oohs and aahs from my kids and my hubby. I really appreciate you listening and expediting my order, it arrived just in time. Dress was cheaper looking than the picture ordered from. Asked for a 14 I'm a 12 totally sized wrong could have been a 10 or smaller the way it was cut. Customer service refused to give a credit or return till I went to my credit card company then wanted to give 50% back and make me pay for return because it was going back to china. Never again.

I recently purchased a pair of curtains from LightInTheBox.com and was not satisfied with them. The curtains do not hang properly and the hooks provided do not fit onto the curtain. The result is that the curtains fall off the rod at the slightest touch and the top tab tilts away from the wall instead of hanging straight. I requested a return and refund within the allowed time frame after placing the order. A customer service rep has contacted me and I expect to be issued a return label for a full refund, but have been waiting several weeks for a response. I will update this rating if/when my refund is issued.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's ice competition. They failed to tell me it was out of stock. I ordered the dress March 6th. Processing is supposed to take only 5-7 days at the most. I waited over two weeks and kept messaging them and of course it's an automated message. Customer service is absolutely horrific. My daughter is going to be traumatized when she finds out she doesn't have a dress for this competition season. If I knew they were out of stock I would have ordered from a different company. They never once said they were out of stock and I messaged them back and fourth over 10 times. I'm pretty upset. Please for the elove of God, never, EVER, EVER order from this POS company. Don't make the same mistake I did. Now we have to scramble in hopes to find a dress for my daughter in less than a month.

I like the variety of items and the prices are very good. However, once you add taxes, shipping, handling and insurance, the deals are maybe only somewhat good. Items are generally fairly good quality. Sometimes the delivery gets a little slower than one might wish as it doesn't leave the warehouse as quickly as some other orders. And of course, coming from
China to the U.S. isn't a short distance.
I want to tell you about a very bad Lightinthebox store. I've been making orders here since January 2018. And everything was fine until I got an empty package instead of an order in March. I argued with the support team for more than 2 weeks, they did not want to compensate me for the damage. Only Paypal helped. Now again the problem, the order is not delivered, it took 2 months. Support wants me to search for the package with the order, filed an application for search. I don't understand the rules, the seller bears full responsibility for the delivery of the order until its receipt by the customer. The customer support service is disgusting, all the time different people respond with standard phrases, do not solve anything and do not help. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Buy in many Chinese online stores, this is the worst.

I bought a faucet from them that I wanted to use after I finished remodeling my bathroom. Unfortunately, the faucet does not fit and I cannot use it. I have tried to submit ticket numbers and the staff has not been helpful at all. They are acting like I didn't buy it from them when the order is right in my account. I am trying to return this faucet as it was rather pricey and I cannot afford to eat the cost.
Update: the company has reached out and is offering a full refund so I am waiting to hear back from them. They have been really helpful so far that I am willing to buy from them in the future.

I was contacted by their customer service team and was offered 60% off next purchase or 40% off my order. I asked if they could send me another and I would return garment that smells of cat piss once received. They said I have to return first and pay for postage to Asia and it can take 4wks for them to get them they will ship exchange which takes 2-4 weeks to receive, my daughter's prom is in May which I advised them. This is unacceptable and poor customer service on an item I paid $252 for. I will never order from them again and warn others to avoid them.

I have used LightInTheBox since August 2013, various orders for various products different amounts. I was never disappointed with the ordering process, the delivery or customer support. While the products come from different suppliers and fill different quality standards, LightInTheBox is the common denominator for standard experience at a price hard to beat. It is obvious I will continue to use them for any products they carry.

They are very helpful. I ordered a fridge magnet and more than enough time had past to receive it so i contacted lightinthebox.com and they tracked it down for me. I received my item in about 10 days. I thought that was great.
Always been the best experience & recommended the website to loads of friends who became as addicted as I am. The only issues will be customs clearance but when you think about the amount of savings, light in the box is worth it.
Not happy with a few parts of my order and cannot find how to submit a ticket to customer care. Really would not recommend this company. It's fine if order is ok but when u try complain about an order it is impossible!

Most of the products I bought made by a high quality materials. The shipping is fast for 89$ and above orders. There's only one problem which is the processing time. It takes long time to prepare the order between 8 to 15 days.
As with any mail order experience not all the products were as good as the photo. I did have a few issues with several of my orders. What was different was the quick and truly helpful response from the Customer Service Team. Brilliant! Friendly and Efficient. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
