I ordered from these people on a Friday and realized that their 'super saver' shipping takes 20 days, so I canceled my order and reordered with expedited shipping which was promised as 4 days. The item was a holiday gift for my friend who was going to be visiting out of state in New Jersey. I found out the next day that even though their shipping time is 4 days for expedited, they weren't going to ship until the end of the year. My friend will be leaving before they even think about shipping and now I have no time left to get her anything on time.
Update: The order arrived - on December 24th. I'm still not going to order anything from here again. It takes too long and there is no tracking.

Light in the box use images of a genuine product to sell a very poor quality copy. They refuse to give a full refund. But because they are from China their customer service is useless. They have my money, and do not want to help.
We bought a lamp from them in the begining of octobee and one part was missing and one part was broken when I recieved it.
The broken part was replaced, but after many months and messages the missing part is still not replaced.
Every time I make a new case they close it say it will be shipped.
Really bad customer support!
Took forever for the item to arrive - this cost me £33 and I have been charged £27 tax on top which i'm unable to dispute. When I queried this with light in the box I was told this was my country's problem, not there's.
I said I do not want the item and they are refusing to refund.

I ordered a pair of ski goggles with 6-8 business days delivery to take with me on a skiing trip over Christmas, I also had the 404 error message when trying to track them and only today it will give me a tracking statement to say they are still in transit. I have been trying to contact the customer service for days but every button you click on takes you round in circles making it impossible to get anywhere and speak to someone! Would strongly advise not ordering from this company as they obviously do not care about delivery dates and customer service! Very disappointed.
I placed an order for a mouse on November 28 and paid for it to ship within 6-8 business days. The website said it shipped on December 1. There are two tracking sites linked on the order page, both returning a 404 error. I messaged the support to ask why the two tracking sites didn't work. The "support" essentially said "it takes 6-8 days" and immediately closed the ticket before i even got a chance to send a reply. Once it was December 14, I got a bit suspicious, so i went to the tracking sites again. One still returned a 404, but the other said that the item had left some undisclosed country to head to America on December 12. It didn't even get to America until December 17. It'll likely not arrive until December 28 or 29,19 to 20 business days later. Between blatantly lying about the shipping date and providing no support at all, I am fully expecting an import fee to be tacked on to the price and for the mouse to arrive in pieces. If you're thinking about buying anything from here, do yourself a favor. Don't.
I would never shop from this site ever again! Awful service. I was really dissapointed the delivery dates were misleading saying 2 to 3 business days when it was over a week! The size was also really small compared to the size chart so I could not even wear the dress when I had contacted customer service they told me no refunds are allowed and you only get 50 percent back and apparently it's made to order and I did not check size chart properly which is not true. This has been my worst online shopping experience and I would never go back to them ever again I will also be informing a higher authority on customer rights because this is really poor service. I would not even give a rating I rate this 0 that's how bad it was.

I was not made aware, even when talking to someone and making inquiries, that any additional charges would be made or I most certainly would not have ordered from this website! This letter was received two weeks after I'd have already received the package, so there was no way I could even send the item back for a refund and get to shop else where. This was meant to be a nice gift, instead I've been stuck with fees for almost £40 which is half the amount of money which I'd paid for the products I had brought!
On the letter I have received it say it was going to charge me 20% but this is WAY more than 20%!

I made my order choosing my articles carefully based on the processing time (2-3 days) and delivery time (3-5 days), so that everything would get here in time BEFORE XMAS! I've just checked the order status and after 5 days it is still IN PROCESS and the DESPATCH DATE, not delivery, is 26th DECEMBER! I can't even cancel without losing 50% of my money. I would have ordered elsewhere if I had known the products wouldn't get here in time. It was all very misleading. Ive been trying to track my order and the only info it has given is that its "in transit" well having it not arrive on time i sent a message. They have a site that tracks your order but nobody can tell me who is delivering my package. The tracking site just says contact them, well if i knew who "them" were i would! Tried to contact lightinthebox and i get an automated message that says to go thru the run around. Do that and it still does nothing. I look at the tracking site and 9 business days after they received my stuff it was just being sent to "the country of destination". I told lightinthebox i want my money back i paid extra for shipping. Nothing.
Anything you would buy from this company can be purchased from somewhere else that cares about customer service. I ordered a bicycle for Christmas. It took 2 weeks to even ship out, came from China, arrived with broken and missing parts TOO late to get a replacement, and only after continued prodding for a response would I receive "generalized form letters" back from them with every inquiry of mine. Their answer for me was to return it on MY dime, and allow them to examine it before they would issue me a refund... If you notice, even with their responses here, they are very general, some identical, and poor grammar. They're not even really reading these complaints. Seriously people. Nothing they sell is unique. Buy your goods somewhere else.

It turned out to be fake lether. I got skraches on the bag after three days of use. Totally worthless! Payed around 800 Swedish kronor inclusive the delivery. And the bag looks so cheap and plastic. What a shame!

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
