It was a smooth process from ordering to delivery and the price was great.
As I am not really computer literate, I made "a mistake" when I decided to place all of the items I had ordered [with various companies] in a new file on the left side of my screen under the Categories heading and named it "Orders via Internet" so that I would not have to back-track to all the items in my Inbox. This seemed like a good idea to me, BUT what I had NOT understood was, that I needed to check this file on a daily/regular basis in order to keep track of the updates of when my package would arrive, etc. Instead I only checked my INbox and found it strange that I wasn't receiving any news from Track & Trace via DHL, UPS, Postnl,... After getting in touch with these delivery companies I realized that they had been to my door, and even left an update of where I could pick up my order... Finally I decided to take a look in that new file and discovered that all the news I was looking for was clearly indicated in each order that I had placed, but only if you click on eacht of the orders... No wonder I was missing out on any detailed updates! Once I discovered that my items had been Returned to Sender, I was able to straighten it all out and finally did receive my orders. A lesson learned indeed! The Customer Service Team(s) were very patience and understanding once I had explained my mistake. I didn't even have to pay the cost of re-sending my packages! Wow! This truly is excellent service! They have not lost me as a customer, but gained my confidence, so I have even made new orders, now that I realize "where" I have to check "for updates" pertaining to my orders! My "heartfelt thank you" for all the departments who had to work together to make my mistake right! Great teamwork!
I received a light coat from LingtInTheBox that was gold instead of brown, the pattern was wrong and it was very light providing no warmth.

I am very disappointed with this sites lack of customer service. They should be required to state on their site an ordering page so that consumers know they don't have a customer service to take care of their orders if there are problems. I ordered a dress and several other items I needed for a beach wedding and photo shoot this weekend. I paid for expedited shipping & paid through paypal. Everytime I checked online for my order it kept saying "Pending" but without any explanation or link to follow up on. I contacted customer service several times to find out what pending meant and what the status of my expedited order was, I never received an email or phone call from their company regarding any problems with the order and I only received a couple of generic replies to my service requests that gave directions on how to check the order online, which is what I had been doing without any notifications or reasons for delay from the company and with absolutely no way to contact the company by phone to talk to someone even though their site states there are reps in 27 different languages to help. Well, I never received any help from the company on my order and I needed it today! I also gave my complete phone number twice to my customer service inquiries and asked that someone please call me so I could find out what to do & no one called ever! Today I logged on and someone on their site changed the pending to pending with a question mark that when I dragged over it said payment incomplete. Now, I never received any notice from paypal that there was a problem or from the company, so there was nothing I could do to take care of it in a timely manner. Basically, this shows they do not have a true customer service department or follow through with request from customers to explain the problem or even call since they do not provide any type of a phone number for customers to call. All consumers should be made aware of this type of service so they can fully understand they will not be able to contact the company for help or receive a direct reply for help on orders, this is quite different from most online companies, so they should make this information known on their site so people know when they are ordering they will not be able to speak with anyone, or even get a direct reply in email at the very least!
Would give zero if I could. I processed a complaint with the company due to unwarned customs charges. To get my parcel from the post office I was asked to pay over £13 on top of the original order and delivery price. This was not made clear to me throughout the ordering process. I wasn't even made aware of where my products were coming from, so I had no way of knowing these extra costs would occur because the website failed to give any indication of this.
I couldn't afford customs charges on top of the order, I told the company I felt it was unfair to trick me by quoting a false final price. They wouldn't cover customs charges, so I requested a return and full refund.
They then told me I wouldn't get a full refund, instead extra handling, customs and extra delivery charges would be removed from what I paid! Even though I've not ever received the item! And they haven't even bothered to confirm what price refund I would get after I've asked them twice.
The customer service is appalling, they've just copied and pasted routine responses, argued with me, refused to help and ignored half of my questions. They say "it's out of their control" and "they couldn't predict customs costs" - this is a lie. They could predict it because I provided my address, I couldn't predict it because I wasn't even made aware! They 100% have the ability to help and offer me a full refund, but they don't understand the concepts of helpful service, complaint resolution and goodwill.
I am disgusted. I feel robbed, ripped off and disrespected. I've lost my money for nothing. I have reported to an ombudsman. DO NOT SHOP HERE. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Lightinthebox has great price, but you pay for what you get, which isn't much. I have stopped buying from them.

There's more legit company like Amazon where I bought the same one I ordered from Lightinabox, which I did not received. Sorry, but I would not trust this Co for anything. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
