I'm pleasantly surprised at how nicely this company operates. They send confirmations for each step of the process from the order, to the pay, to each item's step along the way, to where it is during shipping. My first order took longer than subsequent orders so it gets even better as you find your place in their flow. The variety and number of products is very good and I have found a consistent fit in the size range for clothes. I do find some of the fabrics different than I'm used to but there's nothing wrong with them, it's just me.
Shipping says it will take 1-2 weeks. I was anticipating receiving it on Dec 15 but nothing. Order history showed that the product was pulled Dec 3, but then sat in a warehouse for 10 days before showing any movement. Using USPS should not take this long. I suspect this company is using false shipping information and false expectations.
We waited a long time to receive our 2 products. When they arrived neither were like they were on the website. The first was much darker which made the room feel very depressing and the second was so blurry that it hurt your eyes to look at it. We returned both immediately but this was a significant inconvenience as we tried to complete our children's rooms. I wish I had never found lightinthebox.

I purchased three blouses, in three different sizes based on the website descriptions and recommendations. None of them fit! The fabric on two of the shirts did not feel like clothing fabric! It is impossible to make a return. They tell you the items would have to be sent back to China and would cost $40 to do so. So they offer you a credit (who in their right mind would purchase anything from them a second time) or a very limited refund which could only be navigated for one of the shirts on the website because it is utterly ineffective for processing information. Stay away from them!

Ordered one dress in two sizes for my mother-in-laws birthday. One of them was an XL but instead they shipped me a small. I contacted them immediately to let them know and to get the return shipping details. They first replied saying to keep it and they'll give me a 40% store credit, then they asked me to provide several pictures "showing the issue", then they offered a 50% store credit. I continued to push back because there is nothing I can do with the dress, I was completely within the refund window, and the item had been unused/not tried on, etc. While it did require some back and forth, I was eventually contacted directly and issued a full refund. The other dress that did come in the correct size was great quality for the price, looked great on my mother-in-law and was exactly what she needed for our 70s party. I do think they should consider a more seamless exchange/refund policy for purchases that fit within their refund/exchange criteria.

The merchandise is junk. The pictures displayed are not what they send you. The size charts are a disaster. I ordered two pairs of shorts that are supposed to fit a 38 waist. They fit my son who is a 29-30. I have a shirt that I never wore, I washed it on delicate cycle and it came apart at the seems. They won't refund you money for anything. It doesn't matter if you send them pictures, they will shuffle representatives so you never get a straight answer. I should have tried hem out first but I trusted the site and put in a large order. It's all junk.

Don't waste your money in this online shop! What you see is NOT what you get business with them. No wonder they don't disclose details like what materials the clothes are made from; they don't even provide us that option of zooming in more on the picture so we could have a better look at the fabric. They just remake/copy the item displayed on their website using the (most) INFERIOR fabric. And the quality? It's not even that cheap for what it is. TIP: If you're like me, despite knowing the low rate review, still want to take the risk, just make sure that you take a screenshot or note down the price of all the items you are ordering. It's very useful in case of a refund. If you get refunded at all, that is.

I ordered a total of 10 items minus 1 that went out of stock. Very disappointed by the fabric used. Not at all what I've expected based on the pictures shown online.

Updating my previous negative review. Problems with return were overcome with the honest and generous help of the Customer Service staff. Bottom line - the company can be used to buy clothing when the appearance is not critical (like casual wear at home). Gap for improvement is in the sizing recommendations. Also, adding free returns would be nice and useful for both - company and the customers.

Light in the Box offers women's clothing that photographs beautifully on the internet; however, the actual materials are cheap and inferior. What appear to be layers may be just fabric stitched together. What appear to be buttons that open may be just decorative. Clothing is not true to size. Worse yet, returns must be made within 7 days of order receipt…and are difficult to make. The company requests information that isn't easy to find in order to get the refund approved. They do not respond to questions about this process until it is too late to make the return. If you buy from them and don't like the item, you will, likely, end up keeping it. Buyer beware!

I would not recommend ordering from this site. They seem to offer a wide variety of products, but their descriptions and sizing charts are all off. When I reached out to customer service about the sizing chart, the admitted that they use a universal sizing chart and not all sizes will be accurate in every country. However when I attempted to return the items for incorrect sizing, I was told the items only qualified for a refund amount that was a fraction of what I originally paid. I would not recommend this site unless you want poorly made apparel that doesn't fit and is not ever eligible for return.

I ordered a shirt from Light in the box, it took a couple weeks to receive, and when I opened the pack, it was the wrong shirt. I reached out to customer service immediately, responded to their request for photos and waited to hear back. They then told me that I could have a 50% credit of what I paid and I could keep the shirt. They are not sending the product I actually ordered and only giving me half credit back to buy something else! What a SCAM! Will never recommend or waste my money there again!

I placed my first order with Light in the Box, but the shirt I ordered was too big versus their size guide, and I wanted to return it for a smaller size. Since I inquired about an exchange, LIB has done everything possible not to facilitate an exchange. Even suggested I keep the shirt that doesn't fit because they did not want to pay for shipping back to China. They even asked me to show proof that the shirt didn't fit. Very disappointing. I will never order from them again, and I suggest others follow suit.
First of all I want to thank you very much for all the great deliveries.
This watch and my previous purchases of watches and other articles are special quality for a price that is less than 25% of the other sellers.
The contacts I have with your employees have always been special. I never had to formulate complaints. Only one delivery (out of many) was not 100% okay, I told you with a photo and I immediately received a 100% perfect item.

I bought 2 sockets by Lightinthebox to have the possibility to use always lamps even if the socket is E14 or E17, and it is always easy to test a lamp. The price is nothing compare if I had to buy it in my country.
By this company you have always good stuff for the best price, and the service is the best I known.
First of all, you need to fill out a customs form which is impossible with this company. They didn't give me any return instructions, and sent me two more dresses of the same that I ordered. They were only going to offer me a discount on a different dress. I highly recommend shopping in the states, and saving your money for a more reputable company. Hopefully I can sell these dresses online, because I was hung out to dry.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
