Shoes experience

My experience with LightInTheBox has been great. I saw a pair a shoes that I liked and the reviews told me that I should take a chance on buying them. The shoes and the service were above my expectations. I am quite pleased with the quality of LightInTheBox.

I've written quite a few tickets to resolve the issue an order that was supposed to be expediated and I paid extra to have the item delivered. The company also stated that there was a mistake with the sending of the order, which was the reason for the delay. However, I never received my order and when I thought they actually sent me a phone number to speak to a person it was to the office that sends the merchandise. These so called tickets are stalling tactics and I finally called my credit card company and told them my problem and they took over my dilemma and refunded me. Do not use this company. I will contacting BBB (Better Business Bureau) and all other social media.

Velvet Jumpsuit

This is a beautiful jumpsuit. The red is actually a rich wine color. The size was perfect. I did not realize the waist was going to be quite as high as it is but it does describe it as being high waisted in the write up. Regardless it is quite lovely and I am very pleased with the product.

BUYER BEWARE!

A month ago I ordered several shirts. They shipped to the wrong address and package was returned probably to China? Along the way (in transit) I could have been reached by email or phone for any issues, but NO? Instead, once I inquired weeks ago about shipping time, website said up to a month? When I ordered it was posted 5-9 days for shipping? Now all I want is a refund, they said no, I would have to resend another $21.90 to reship(Again probably from China!)? Now shipping cost are more than the shirts! DON'T BUY HERE! Trust me NO customer service at all! So now, all I can do is make you aware? Don't chance it!

Think about it... I paid $21.90 for unreceived product, they have the product, and won't refund my money that I paid for the shirts & tax? Wooooow? I'm ripp-off $63.64!

I saw that your order left the warehouse last month, and according to the tracking page USPS returned your package shortly after it arrived in the US. In fact we were unaware of this problem, until yesterday when you've contacted us to report you didn't receive the package. Also, you've pointed out that 1 digit of the house number wasn't entered correctly. We find it very unfortunate that your package was returned despite this being a small error. But please be aware, the address is an essential part of the delivery process, and that the smallest mistake could lead to the parcels not arriving. As customers are responsible for correctly entering the address, we expect you to repay us the shipping fees a second time, before we can send the order. I am sorry if you found this suggestion unfair or inappropriate.

We have send you an email (ticket #24468566) to further handle this problem. Please don't worry, I am sure we can find a middle way that both parties can accept!

Not able to return goods
September 18, 2022

I bought two dresses, one was two sizes to small and the other one size to big. I have now been back and forth with the support team for almost 3 weeks. They insist that I have to use the South African Postal service to return NOT DHL (who they say on THEIR website are partners) or any other know courier. They refuse to let me know who their courier is. They have offered me from 30 to 70% discounts but I can't do anything as I can't return the goods according to them.

LightInTheBox attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

I haven't got my order yet

I order on March 7th and still haven't received my order yet! No refund has been issued because of the items I ordered ran out before they filed my order! I hope I receive my refund and my order! But I won't even be ordering from this site again

My wife ordered a dress on the site for our daughters wedding in June, whilst the delivery was not to bad once my wife opened the package the dress does not sit on her like the picture.
I opened a ticket to return the dress 9 days ago and have still not received a return address whiich i have requested 4 times.
Also be aware of all the criteria when ordering as i was told this was a made to measure so will also loose around £50 on the dress as i only receive some money back and have to pay to return it EVENTUALLY to china when if/i get an address.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY

I bought some LED strip lights for my daughter's bedroom. Total cost was $30.86. The lights did not work properly so I contacted them for a refund. They made me take a video of the lights not working properly then offered me a 30% discount to buy them again. After emeailing back and forth for about 3 weeks they finally agreed to refund my purchase. They want me to send the lights back to China at a cost of $10-40, according to them. Then they will refund me $18. Bottom line - crappy product, horrible customer service and very slow relplies to my request for refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Order ************** was decorated with free shipping. After full payment, they demanded an additional payment. Scammers. The order was canceled after 3 weeks, I lost the time, coupons and bonuses that I applied in the order. I do not recommend cooperation.

Buyer beware! Ordered 6 shirts from the site. 3 weeks later they arrived. First off, sizes were way off from what the site depicts. I even used the sizing tool. Ordered all Larges. What came were easily XL or XXL US sizes. The images printed on the shirts were not crisp like the images on the site but instead washed out and blurry. The site also shows the shirts being fitted and tapered, they were not. They were basic T shirts and not tapered. The site says image matches product which is a lie. I tried to write reviews giving 2/5 stars and the site never posted them. I tried again giving a 4 star and it was posted so they are filtering reviews. Attempted to return items and they said I had to pay between 40-60 dollars to return the order to their warehouse in China. Definitely a scam so please beware before using this site.

I rated two of their product 3stars, 4stars(actually not bad rating, it is not 1star at least) and they took out my honest review on the product such as "this dress makes you look fatter if you have bigger chest, since it is A shape dress". I asked them to put my review back into the product page but they ignored my request.

Disappointed
May 16, 2022

Don't order from this company. I ordered four shirts on April 2 for my son's birthday April 18. My order was processed on April 25. My son received two shirts weeks after his birthday. The third shirt was cancelled and I received a refund. Never received the fourth shirt. Searching their website is very frustrating. There is No email address for customer service. The two shirts my son received were fine so I gave them two stars. Today is May 16th and there is no information on the fourth shirt.

Worst experience
November 7, 2020

I ordered a $182 order the items I got some didn't have the new brand tag in another words no tag at all. Everything smelled like plastic... Chinese smell. The clothing are smaller than the size I ordered. At this point I wrote an email to send me a return label for my package never heard from them.
I ask everyone that reads this review NOT to ORDER from LIGHT IN THE BOX you will be wasting your money in products that are very poor and cheap quality.

Products vs Price: I have ordered plenty of products via Light in the Box. At first, I was a bit confused because of the cheap price but, at the end, I was shocked that the quality is so good. The products were exactly what were described on the ads.

Customer service: I have been so happy that the customer service always shows willingness to give me the best solution for my problem and reply in relatively fast speed (with in a day). However, I would love to receice answer faster like contacting via phone but LITB has not developed the service yet. Hopefully, you will have it in the near future.

I love the discount and reward system. I am happy that I received great reward everytime I ordered.

So far, I have had 8 orders at LITB within 2 months. And all of the purchases made me so happy except one thing. It is the delivery time. It was estimated about 8-10 days. However, I never received my order before the 20th day after I ordered. :( It takes too long til I get my things!

I am not satisfied with the quality of the coat I received at all does not correspond to the description. The procedure of returning an item is very cumbersome and it will take me a lot of time effort and money as well. For this reason, I would like you to offer me an option acceptable to 50 or 30 percent of a coupon or voucher for subsequent purchases. Thank you

I ordered products but quality is so bad and the return policy sucks. 5 out of 8 clothes were smaller than the descriptionan. I tired returning and they were requesting me to measure and sent pictures of measurements else they would not return it. Then they offered 50% reward and i thought i will take that instead if goin through the hastle. The total cost of my return was aprox. 50 dollars and they returned me 0.40 dollars. They are a scam do not order from them.

The worst choice

I didnt receive my package. I lost my money. Bad choice. I asked them to send me the name and the number of the delivery company. They didnt answer. I dont trust them at all. Im sure that everything is fake. Bad choice

Pleasantly Surprised

I ordered items which shipped separately. The tracking is useless as it only shows the item leaving no progress. The customer service ignores you and refuses to answer simple requests or to refund your money when you do not receive the items. I paid extra for expedited shipping and asked for that refund first, now I as I have not received the 2 parcels I want my money back in full, NO response at all. The only responses I have received are copies of my tracking numbers which again are useless. They cannot even tell me where the parcels are. One package I did receive the quality of the costume item was terrible ( coming apart at the seams) AVOID AVOID AVOID
