I like their products, especially mobile phones. They are easy in use and rather powerful. I can recommend everyone the products of this company.
I still got g5 and the phone is working very smooth, I am waiting new line to come out and definitely will buy it.
The gadgets they offer are very good. As fo rme I have a phone of thsi brand and my mom has a washing machine. Everything works well.
We bought a LG model LFCS*******S in November of 2019. French doors and bottom freezer. The end of May 2020 we heard a Pop sound in the kitchen and an hour later we noticed the refrigerator wasn't working. I called LG customer service and talked to a rep. Explaining our problem. She advised she would find a repairman in our area and send them out. Four days later with no response from anyone I called LG back and was told the person I spoke with earlier didn't put the correct information in the computer. He was very helpful and stated he would get things going, after being placed on hold for quite some time he stated he was unable to reach a repair company in my area but gave me the phone number and said I could try to contact them myself and if I did I could call LG back and have them generate a work order. I did callthe repair shop and explained my situation and they said they would send someone the next day. They did come the next day and said the electronic board was bad. Today is June 22nd and we still don't have a working refrigerator. I will absolutely NEVER buy another LG product again. JUNK!
I am one of the customers of your AIR CONDITIONERS who is regretting why I went for LG Product and Feels completely cheated. Now here is the full shocking story.
I bought an LG Air Conditioner 1.5 months back. 12 days back AC stopped working. I called customer care and raised a complaint. Your technician came checked opened the both indoor and outdoor unit of new AC which is only 1.5 a month old and he told there is issue in outdoor PCB, they will replace it for that they have to order PCB (Which has taken 4 days). 4 day's back they came with PCB which has taken a week in this hot summer. And tried to replace the outdoor PCB but still the issue persists. Again they opened both Indoor and Outdoor wasted 2-3 hours but nothing happened and Issue still persists. Now they are telling us there is an issue in Indoor PCB also and we will change it. So I am requesting you to please replace my AC unit or else return my money. I am getting fed up with your machine. I am a Fed up with your representative. I don't want to go with LG. Till now both units have opened and closed at least 40- 50 times. If this is the quality of your product then why are you selling?. The biggest problem is all your team members are non-responsive. No one is picking the call. I am not getting any status on what is going to happen next. I feel like Cheated. For the last 10 days My AC has not been working and No one from LG is bothered. You people simply cheated the customer. I am fed up with you people. Requesting you to please replace my AC Unit else take it back and refund my money. I am calling, trying to get whatever possible way to get status but No one is ready to pick the call. I got one number of your employees named "Akash Kumar" in Patna. First time he picked up the call after listening to my issue, he also stopped picking my call. You people are simply making substandard products. Please don't cheat the customer and replace my both units (Indoor/OutDoor).
One more thing also add the Tag line to your product "Waste Your Money on your OWN RISK".
I bought myself a smart tv 3D LG. Overall, TV is great but only thing that makes me mad is that sometimes when I put USB in the TV, some formats TV can't recognize. 3D is working awesome!
I had to replace my dishwasher and refrigerator already! I purchased in 2018 and they are both beyond repair.
On one handling the problem and service center reposnse is very low and pathetic don't buy L G Products very bad after sale and service
I suggested no any ratings o ratings
LG / Home Depot BUYER BEWARE...
Purchased two LG Split AC units from Home Depot. One remote control does not work. The batteries when installed into the remote immediately get hot. I have called LG countless number of times. The runaround is amazing, CSR transfer you to the abyss, or other groups like washer, or TV etc groups, or transfer to there HVAC pros, One CSR named Paul who wins the prize for being rude, hangs up on ya, this guy should not be handling calls with humans. Sorry I'm not a pro contractor, but I am a customer who purchased LG. Scott in HVAC was a listener, asked for a manager to call me 5 days now no response. Other CSRs said they would send a remote or someone would call, no responses. It's only a remote, come on LG stop screwing the customer. Home Depot is another they tell me to go to LG, LG tells me to go to Home Depot, sorry from buying from either of you. Home Depot staff walks away. Home Depot Leadership does not respond, there CSR ignore the problem. LG Mexico support says press1 for English, technical support press 6, then there is no English. This is poorest of support.
A remote control is under $50, I have spent more time than the AC units cost.
They are a great product. I like Samsung better but for the priced, LG has them beat for a good quality smartphone
Three weeks supported by emails with no response I would not recommend their products, Customer Care does no exist.
The washer leaks from the front door. Customer from LG do not support me or replace the washer. Worse
Customer service for warranty work is just about zero. I will never buy an LG product the rest of my life.
I contacted LG customer service 6/14 about a removable film on a new TV. I was told by LG that there is indeed a film on the TV screen that is supposed to be removed. When I tried to remove the film, it seemed too difficult so I called again 6/15, I was on the phone for 1.5 hours. I sent pictures and was told to try to remove the film further. I stopped because the flaking of the product did not seem like a film. I was told I would be contacted back by LG. I had to call again on 6/19 and then was told by the agent that the film I was trying to remove is a "polarizing filter" and that it is not supposed to be removed. She informed me that the damage to the corner of the film (that has now been peeled off due to the instructions sheet and my first interactions with customer service) is not LG's problem. And that there is no documentation that the agents told me to keep peeling. I object to this denial of direction - if one listens to the tape of the 1.5 hour long conversation, they will hear my hesitation and LG's direction. Sam was the LG agent. I then spoke to Ann a supervisor who did not ask me a single question when she got on the line, she told me that she had talked to Sam and that the issue is not covered by LG. I let her know that she did not start the conversation properly at all - she didn't even want to hear my story until I insisted that she listen. They suggested that I take the TV back to where I purchased it - this is unacceptable service. The case got escalated and a representative from the "presidential" customer service told me emphatically that this is simply cosmetic damage and is not covered by LG even though LG told me to keep scratching at the film which turned out to be the polarizing filter. Figure that out! I will not be purchasing LG products again. Perhaps I can save you folks a problem - purchase another brand.
I like and respect LG's products. They may copy their competitors but i think they make a good job anyways.
Now at day 37 with no help. Avoid LG at all costs. They do not honor their warranty. Local technicians won't service because they get stiffed by LG.
I like their products. I'm using the cell phone and a microwave of this brand and I'm pretty satisfied.
Bought an LG washer approx. 11 months ago, 3+ weeks ago it began making a loud chattering noise, which after viewing some videos, appeared to be the drain pump. The technician replaced the drain pump and found large sharp pieces of plastic(pic attached), and decided it must be the agitator, which is new to this model. I'm thinking design defect involved? He ordered another agitator and drain pump and told us we could use the washer, but the sharp plastic started coming up into the tub(luckily on towels and not clothes they cut up). He came out two more times and didn't have the proper tools to replace the agitator and basically him and his supervisor left our case in limbo. I decided I would borrow the proper tool(a 20" ratchet extender) and removed the old agitator myself. I contacted their support yet again, and got escalated to executive customer service and then 'presidential liaison', no difference and now they say it will be later in the week(almost 3 weeks after initial call) before the technician can come out again, probably still without the proper tool. I dont see how these companies stay in business with the inability to honor their warranties and poor customer support. DONT BUY LG WASHERS.
Update: They said they wouldn't do anything until the technician attempted the repair on 2/24. Guess what happened that morning – the technician cancelled because he still didn't have the correct tools and so his supervisor decided to issue a return authorization, which I'm not sure exists because neither will return my calls and the LG Presidential Liason office texted me on Saturday asking if the technician had fixed my washer on Friday(even though the appt was on Thursday). Unbelievable incompetence. DON'T BUY LG!
Upon the first use, our LG dishwasher gave the dishes- particularly glassware- a strong smell similar to a riverbank with submerged, slimy roots and vegetation. At the beginning, the smell would sometimes not occur until about 20 minutes after the cycle ended, but it would last indefinitely on dishes put into the cupboard. The dishes would hold this odor, even when completely dry, unless we rinsed and dried all the dishes by hand or set them all out on the counter for 3 days to air out.
On my first 2 warranty service calls to LG, 5-12-21 and 6-7-21, the technicians recognized an odor but could find no mechanical issues with the machine. The 3rd time I called, on 6-7-2021, LG refused to send someone to my house, saying that they would not send someone for the same issue since they found nothing at the last service call. (Incidentally, a technician told me that if LG has to send someone 3 times for the same issue, the policy is to replace the machine.)
For the next 2 years, despite efforts to clean and drain the machine, try different cycles, and various dish washing products, the smell continued to get worse and worse. Eventually, when we opened the dishwasher after any cleaning cycle, our entire downstairs would reek like a riverbank.
On 6-23-2023, I tried again to get some satisfaction from LG. After several calls, hours on the phone and weeks of waiting, my case was escalated to the Presidential Liaison. I was told that the best they could do was give me a courtesy check for $100 for my troubles, and a rebate for 20% of the machine cost. I expected $100 plus $206. I did receive the $100 check, and then I received a coupon off the price of my next LG appliance purchase for $58 with a notice that the case was closed.
After 2½ years of dealing with stench, we replaced the LG dishwasher with a Bosch model a couple weeks ago – NO MORE SMELL.
Do not buy LG very cheap parts low quality breakdown easily and the very expensive to fixed, do not buy it try another brand
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
