If there was a ZERO stars that is what this company would get for their customer service. My LG washing machine that I purchased SEVEN months ago has broken already. It is sitting there with a tub full of water and will not drain or spin out. I've already spent HOURS on the phone and website trying to get service scheduled for this machine which is in warranty and have gotten NOWHERE. Talked to a foreign person I couldn't understand on the customer support and he was unable to find any appointment times for our area and begged off the call saying that someone would call me within 48 hours. This was AFTER I had already filled out a service ticket on the LG website which gave me a ticket number and the promise that I'd be called as soon as possible. Have not heard a word from them either. And here I sit with a washing machine full of water that won't drain and that I can't move out because it is currently too heavy to move. I had to fish out the rugs from this mess and do my best to wring them out and put them in the dryer, which took about 5 hours to dry because of how wet they were. This is the worst experience I've ever had with trying to get an appliance repaired and over my 50 years of marriage, that has been A LOT of appliance repairs. These guys top the list for poor service. If you buy and appliance from them you better firmly cross your fingers that it doesn't break because if it does, all I can say is LOTS OF LUCK!
Pathetic service, could not repair the refrigerator even after more than 1 week time. Same old excuse part is not available
Great TVs, reliable phones. I used to have one, I mean a cell phone and was rather satisfied with its quality.
We bought a package including an LG washer, dryer and two pedestals from Home Depot After a few months, but well within the warranty period, one pedestal drawer would no longer close. I contacted LG warranty service who w/o ever looking at the issue informed earlier it could not be fixed and offered me an amount which would not cover more than 1/2 of the cost to replace the pedestal not to mention installing a new pedestal under a washing machine. I told the representative. LG's warranty states "LG Electronics Inc., will repair or at its option replace, without charge your product..." I informed LG that I did not want a refund. I wanted them to honor their warranty to repair or replace the pedestal or refund an amount that would cover my replacement costs." Basically the rep said even though that's what the warranty says, LG would not repair or replace my pedestal and they would not pay to have the new one installed. They did up the offer so I would only be out $100 plus tax and installation cost. Frustrated I turned to the local Home Depot where I purchased the washer, dryer and pedestals to ask them to intercede. They asked LG to honor their warranty but after repeated phone conversations they had no more luck with LG than I had. In praise of HD, rather than let me be out the $100 plus they offered to repair or replace the pedestal. The manager of the department came out, took the pedestal apart, found a screw in the track that had never been installed and replaced it. I guess LG won. They were not out a dime and they didn't have to honor their warranty. This dragged on for more than a month. Of course I will never buy another LG product again because they do not honor their warranty. (Quite frankly, "honor" is not a word that should be associated with this company, "Shameless" seems more apropos). Moral: Don't buy LG unless you like being jerked around.

LG refrigerator purchase Nov. 2014. Broke down Sept. 2016= LG compressor broke down after less than 2 years which seems to be the consumer average based on 1,764 LG REFRIGERATOR COMPLAINTS ON CONSUMER AFFAIRS website. We luckily purchased a warranty and had our compressor and other issues repaired under warranty. I saw the repair bill which was $757.74 parts and labor. March, 2017 refrig died again. You will not see a ConsumerAffairs Accredited Seal on any LG fridge. What is a ConsumerAffairs Accredited Seal? " A company that displays the ConsumerAffairs Accredited Seal has agreed to work with us to resolve consumer complaints." LG does not choose to be a member because they do not care about resolving consumer complaints. LG has chronic malfunctioning refrigerator problems which they choose not to fix or address. Google " LG compressor problems" and your first hit will be the consumer affairs site. Read real reviews about what other consumers have to say about LG before purchasing an LG refrig because it will be nothing but a nightmare purchase. Do you really want to unload and throw away hundreds of dollars of food every time your new refrig breaks down? Do you want to wonder if it malfunctioned while you were on vacation? Look elsewhere for your new refrigerator.
We bought LG49 inch tv and we bought AMC inr ******* after that there are lines comes in display,we raise companies against that and we got that reply from LG team there is no part available replace,and there are not ready to give compansation
Their compressors go bad and they have a lawsuit against them. Still had to pay out to fix it. I will refer anyone and everyone away from LG

Ordered a washer. When it was delivered, they told me it was not possible to get my dryer out of my laundry room in order to put the new washer in. As though my house had been built around the dryer and it had never come in or out of that doorway. The delivery men were rude, the woman who called me to tell me that my dryer would not come out was rude. Especially when I pointed out that this made no logical sense since it had gone in in the first place. They then asked if I wanted them to leave the washer in the middle of my kitchen. I said no, I'll just order from Best Buy as they had successfully installed both a washer and a dryer over the past several years despite the "fact" that the dryer was supposedly permanently stuck in the laundry room as I apparently bought it from IKEA and assembled it inside the laundry room myself. The next day I got an email confirming the successful delivery of my washer. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them explaining repeatedly that I was not in possession of any new washer.
Three weeks later I still did not have my refund. I had called multiple times at this point- each person told me there was no documentation of previous phone calls. About a week after that, my refund was issued but they charged me a $55 restocking fee for returning the washer. So let me get this straight. Your delivery people were rude and also unable to take correct measurements. You told me you could not install the washer because removing my dryer was an impossibility. So I had no choice but to return the washer. And now you're charging me for it? I'm honestly astounded at the horrible customer service through this entire experience. I am frustrated and if I can prevent anyone from going through LG, I will do my best.
Best Buy delivered my new washer/dryer set today. They had no difficulty removing my dryer and were in and out of my house in less than 45 minutes. Paying them a little more was absolutely worth it and I will never deal with LG again.

Hello! I am from Bangalore. I have purchased LG 32 inch TV on 10.10.2020. This year i. E on 10 October 2022 warranty ended. On 12th October 2022 TV is not working. I have lodged Complaint( through Purchased shop i. E. UNILET Shop) in LG Services. The service man came to check he took some photos of TV and told it is Display problem (he didn't check properly) and he told it will charge around ******* INR. If we cancel the complaint i have to Rs. 478 as his Service charge. One TV life is only Two years, i have spent Rs. 28,000 for TV. My question is LG products have life till the warranty period end? After the warranty period the product is not usable and even service also not good their is no proper response. We middle class people Choose products of reputed company products (Like LG) thinking that products will come long life there is no need change the product soon. Usually my preference for LG products in my house fridge, Oven Washing machine everything is LG products only. I was believing for LG but hereafter i wont buy LG Products. Such a worst product i have seen. There is no value for customer money. Please guys don't buy any LG Products its a worst product.
Whenever i purchased lg mobiles. I found they are crap compare to samsung or iphone. Quality is poor. Wonder whats wrong with the LG phones.

LG का service सबसे 3rd क्लास सर्व्हिस है, मैं 1 हफ्ते से कंपनी मे मेरे front load washing machine का आउटलेट पाइप change करणे के लिये फोन कर रही हू, तो कंपनी के लोग visit charge 200rs बोलते है, technician 500rs चार्जेस बताता है, इनके technician सिर्फ कस्टमर से extra पैसे निकाल रहे हैं, कंपनी के लोगो को बताया तो बहुत खराब तरीके से बात करते है, lg company के फिक्स visit charges नही है, मै तो बहुत परेशान हो गयी हु, lg company ने वॉशिंग machine का outlet pipe bahut andar lagaya है, जिससे इन के ही technician आये aur वो लगाये, अगर मैं लोकल technician बुलाती hu तो उसके वजह से कोई वायर हील गई तो मुझे फिर से दुसरा नुकसान hoga, मेरा सबसे 1 ही suggestion है LG का प्रॉडक्ट मत खरिदो. What a disgrace LG and LG Customer Service Warranty Department is. We bought (a very expensive) LG refrigerator only to find the back water line was cracked and leaking onto the floor. My husband called for two straight weeks and every time he called he'd wait at least 30 minutes to get someone on the phone only to be jerked around and lied to each time. Some ridiculous responses were they have to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor will contact us (twice). Another ridiculous excuse was there is no one in our area that they can find to fix our refrigerator LOL! (twice). Another time a representative was telling my husband to get a screwdriver and was reading to him how to go to the back of fridge and try to fix it/tighten the screws and my husband kept telling him there's nothing to be tighten the the darn thing is CRACKED, YOU CAN SEE ITS CRACKED AND ITS LEAKING ONTO THE FLOOR!
So LG did just what they wanted us to do, we got tired of calling and getting jerked around as it was so evident they had no intention of fixing it so we called someone else and got the refrigerator fixed without the pathetic non existent LG warranty and paid for it ourselves. The repair man had to order a part because it was indeed CRACKED! So I strongly recommend you buy a different appliance brand. This business sold us a crap refrigerator and then gave us crap customer service. The repair company that fixed our refrigerator told us LG is a horrible business to deal with and they will not deal with them at all which pretty much sums it all up. Buyer Beware!
Bought a LG dryer and waited two weeks for it to arrive. Was given a time window between 7am -11am and was awaken at 6:20am with the truck in the driveway. Two non English speaking men were to install the dryer. All they kept saying was no no no while pointing to the old dryer and pointing to a paper they were waving in their hands! I told them several times I do not understand what they were trying to say and after getting nowhere, told them to get the F**K out of my house and take the dryer with them!
No sooner they left (6:30am) I got an email saying sorry the delivery couldn't be completed?
I called the LG number on the email and was told by the woman who answered that I didn't pay the $50 take away old appliance fee so they weren't allowed to touch my old dryer to move it. And,,, since I didn't buy a new pedestal from them, they couldn't put the new dryer on my old pedestal.
I told her she has got to be kidding and she didn't seem to care in the least! Horrible customer service! I hope LG enjoyed paying these two non English speaking delivery men a salary to show up to my house, only to take the dryer back to wherever it came from! The wasted time, gas and salary to pay these clowns, not to mention having to now sell the dryer as a used out of box appliance all over not paying their $50 fee!
I hope the lost money was well worth it for LG!
Giving LG a one star review is rewarding them for total incompetence and ignorance! Total waste of my time and I would NEVER recommend buying anything from LG.

Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
