Non receipt of Refund amount of Eyeglasses of Lenskart Order number *******049
We have placed an online order for progressive eyeglasses on Lenskart. After receiving it at the doorstep, it was found that the eyeglasses top portion frame was observed cracked and discolored at some places due to scratches.
We have lodged an online complaint and sent back an eyeglasses frame to the company for replacement on 13.9.2023.
It was received on 20.9.23 and it was again found with the same issues.The eyeglasses frame condition was same as it was prevailing when it was delivered first time.
The Lenskart Company states that the ordered blue frame is not available in stock so that I have to select another eyeglasses frame.I argued that why should I select another frame? I don't like any other eyeglasses frames.
Surprisingly again the company informed me that new eyeglasses frame will be provided to you. Sot that I have sent back my eyeglasses frame for replacement.
I received my eyeglasses frame on 26.9.23 but after wearing the eyeglasses, I was suffering from acute headache so that I removed the eyeglasses.
Please note that I always wear progressive eyeglasses.
I again wrote a letter for refund of my paid amount as I will not send eyeglasses repeated times for rectification as it was replaced several times but couldn't resolve the problem.
The company denied for refund the paid amount. I argued that it is your workmanship problem and as it was replaced numerous times, it is your responsibility to refund the full paid amount within the stipulated period of 14 days.

Lenskart is just ignoring the issue of physical damage done by the wrong frame provided. I am wearing it for more than 3 months and now they are pressurizing me to take a refund for the frame which is not fitting on my face saying that they are not having the appropriate frame for me. As per their instruction, I have already given the product ID selected from their product list which is still available on their website and the mobile app as well.
As per their terms & conditions (20) RETURN, REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY
The refund, return or exchange process will be initiated only after we have received the product/s in the condition as mentioned above.
As stated You could either get a refund of cash or exchange it for a voucher. If this is not applicable, You could exchange the purchased product for a different product of the same value or higher value. No difference will be paid in case the exchange is made for a product of a lower value.
They are not even ready to discuss the damage done by the wrong frame I am still wearing for last 3 and a half months. Every day they send an mail which is almost a copy and paste of their previous mail. This is how they are dealing with customers.
Am very much impressed with services of lenskart. Such fabulous work they did. From now on i will buy all my specs will come from Lenskart.
Do not fall for 14 days exchange or return policy. This company is a sham. No customer sevice phone, no respose from their email

My order ID is *******599, i bought frames from sec 10 store by paying through credit card. I have placed the exchane request and refund on 15 sep and the item was picked and lenskart and then by 18 sep they have refeunded the ammount. But i have not received it till now i have even sent them bank statements too. But still these guys are not trusting me and saying me check with bank and i already spoken to bannk. I will attach details of my complaint with bank too. I was checking their app the item received by lenskart is 23rd then how come they can initiate the refund before receivng the product. They are just torchuring from week.

This company is a fraud and scam, their salesmen provide misleading information to lure people to buy its products and sign up as a member.
Don't ever sign up as a Member as there's no benefit at all. Your money will just be wasted. You can always get the "buy 1 get 1 free" offer throughout the years.
I bought 2 spectacles here last year and even signed up as a member because the salesman said that there is a "one-time exchange of lenses" benefit and he never mentioned that only valid for 1 year instead of 2 years membership.
When I collected the glasses, we already had dispute due to the blue light lens issue. Before purchasing the glasses, the salesman demonstrated that the lens blocked out all the blue light from passing through, so I decided to get it.
But when I collected the glasses and requested to test for the blue light, the light could go through the lens. When I confronted, the other salesman informed me that if I want the lens that blocked out blue light completely, I need to pay an additional fee. It's extremely ridiculous. I let this case go as the salesman called and kept apologizing because he was afraid that I lodged a complaint.
Recently, I did an eye check with the intention of changing lenses if my degree has increased.
I was appalled when the salesman informed me that the offer is only valid for 6 months. The salesman did not mention about this last year when luring me to sign up for their membership.
I received absolutely no text that the policy had been changed. So they're implying that their policy can change at any time regardless of when you bought the product. This is absurd, the company gets advantages by cheating their customers.
When I brought this issue up to their Customer Services, the replies were just like robots, as they kept repeating the company policy.
The Customer Services don't even know their own policy well. At first, they said "6 months", then changed to "1-year" exchange. Most of their salesmen have a cold and ignorant look, it seems like customers' complaints are very normal and common for them. I've already experienced 2 ludicrous situations with this company. With a year of membership left, I wonder what other illogical occasions would occur.
Once again, I warn you that this company has devious salespeople, don't fall for their trap.
