Finally received my replacement prescription sunglasses. The world looks much better now. I placed my order and requested that Lensabl send me a shipping box during the height of COVID Christmas shipping. I placed my order in mid-NOV2019, received the shipping box just before Christmas and didn't receive my glasses until 20JAN2021. The timing was poor but the sunglasses are exactly right in spite of all the shipping delays.
I ordered Transition Advatage (Phtochromatic + Polarized) lenses to replace the old Transition lenses in my glasses. I tried to find a local store where I could try these lenses to get an idea how they perform. I could not find a demo pair to do this. After reading review for Tranisition Advantage glasses, I decided to order them from Lensabl.
The lenses do what they're supposed to. My only observation is that Transition Advantage lenses don't get as dark as the regular Transition lenses. But the polorization does cut down glare. I am still undecided whether I'd opt for the darker non-polorized lenses in the future.
My other suggestion is to make UPS Next Day Delivery your primary delivery choice to avoid delays. USPS Priority Mail took 5 days to deliver since the glasses were shipped on a Friday of a holiday weekend.
I took a little while to respond to your email but received my item and am very happy with your service. I will definitely come back as a repeat customer. Thank you!
I was able to navigate my way through the order process without needing to ask my daughter for help, so its pretty easy. Got my sunglasses yesterday. I am pleased with them.
Just received my grandson's second pair of glasses and they are perfect. We have the second pair for him as he's playing football and he needs a back up just in case!
I was very pleased that they carried my specialty sunglasses. I think they did their best on the website to make it easy, however, we still had to contact via the phone.
I've used Lensabl for lens replacement for at least 7 pairs of frames. They make the process so easy and convenient. Furthermore, the end product is exceptional as is the customer service.
Several months of back and forth with disjointed CSR. Lensabl screwed up the original order and we had to pay extra and wait nearly 3 months for a lousy pair of glasses
It took almost 2 months for delivery. Had to email customer service several times to receive update. Customer service agent was VERY rude. Needless to say, I won't use or recommend again.
The lenses were made incorrectly. When I asked them to be remade, I didn't hear back from customer service for a couple weeks. Then they wanted over $150 to remake the lenses.
You have an amazing service. Incredible customer support. Easy to use website that deals with complex issues, making it convenient for even novices to use and navigate. Great prices! Great set of options and flexibility in the product. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS: I've had two different sets of glasses made, one after the other, the second to correct problems with my first, and I CAN'T SEE PROPERLY WITH EITHER OF THEM. So the problem could be ME. The problem could be my EYE DOCTOR. Or the problem could be the technology you are using to make glasses. I've wasted now hundreds of dollars for glasses THAT I CAN'T USE! I wont be doing business with you any longer. I will be changing eye doctors too. You absolutely need to have a guarantee that your customer can see with their new glasses or they should be able to return them at no charge! Not only do I not have glasses for added weeks of time, but I am out a lot of money. And I have no where and no one to turn to for help.
I have purchased lenses from lensabl before and was so impressed with the quick turn around and great price. I recently decided to have my reading lenses replaced with a new Rx rather than get new frames from my doc. But this time my order took forever. There were details that needed to be added for fitting and I didn't get an email notifying me (or it went to spam). They sat there for 2 weeks til i wondered where my order was. Upon checking, i realized they needed more info. I sent it. Then it took 2 more weeks to get them done. The "status bar" on the site isn't accurate. I had to email customer service to get the status. The rep said they were done and would be in the mail soon. 4 more days pass and they finally arrive. They turned out ok. The ear was a bit bent and i had to fix myself. Overall it took a month to get the glasses back and i needed them for work. I wouldn't mind if lensabl just altered their terms of service and gave real turn around times. The price is still right, but there is no way they are able to fill orders in 2 weeks anymore (my first order was done in 2 weeks) update the status car on the site or take it down to give customers realistic expectations of turn around. In total this order took 1 month to be completed.
My prescription was a simple one 2.75 basically for readers. But my vision is blurry with these glasses on... my temples were loose and you would think someone who worked on my glasses would have tightened them for me! Also the Oakley case i shipped them were is it? I hate the fact of you having to have a picture of me for my order because maybe that is the reason for the SHODDY WORKMANSHIP! On my glasses! OR. You have someone who totally does not know what he or she is doing! I WILL HAVE TO WARN OTHERS (B. B. B.) ABOUT YOUR COMPANY TO WARD THEM OFF FROM GETTING MESSED OVER!
So I had frames from 5 years ago and the company, SuperDry has since stopped making frames for glasses. When my lenses cracked, I decided to get an eye exam. I was skeptical and looked at glassesUSA, EyeBuyDirect etc. And decided I love my frames too much to find a new pair, blind, on the internet, hoping they look good. The price was about the price of new frames and glasses, but I also need super high 1.74 index because of my prescription strength. It took a little while and my account still says "ready to ship" even though I have my glasses (purchased 8/9 received 8/30). They. Are. Beautiful! They actually sparkle, my frames had not so much as a piece of dust on them, and they just look and feel fabulous. I would absolutely say they're worth the price and may send my other frames in (my prescription sunglasses and my other frames for a backup pair). They were packaged well, came with a little cleaning kit, and a new collapsible case. Thanks lensabl! And thank you to Bose for partnering with them for their glasses. The reason I picked lensabl was because 1. I love my frames and 2. Bose partners with them and is reputable.
My experience was great. My stoggles came back exactly how they were sent but with lens that I can see out of for the operating room. Beyond impress with the service and quality I have received
I wear lined bifocals and Warby Parker only offers progressives, so Lensable was the answer I was looking for!
Easy to do, great quality, fair price. The only suggestion I would make is regarding shipping- it's kind of a pain to go to the post office and buy the right type of box to send your frames in.
I need the lens adjusted. I can read when the glasses are about an inch off the bridge of my nose. It was not made correctly. Reading part of lenses need to be higher on lens. Please contact me
To start I had a name brand frames for several years that I would wear at night since I wore contacts during the day so they were rarely worn. I was at my optometrist office and wanted to update the prescription in the lenses. She basically talked me out of it saying the frames are rolled and won't hold the lenses anymore. Of course buying new frames and lenses. I loved my old frames so much and the lenses have not fallen out after four years. I decided to look online to see who could replace the lenses in my old but still useable frames with the best deal. I stumbled across Lensabl! Their website was so easy to use and upload my prescription. Choose your options for your lenses and your ready to ship! In a few clicks I printed out a shipping label as I had a existing box but they will mail you one if you need it and was out the door. A few days later my favorite frames arrived with my updated lenses! Unboxing was fun! They ship it securely inside a fancy eye glass case and include a free cleaning kit. When I opened the case my favorite eye glasses were inside. I tried them on and perfect! It was like I could see again! They even shipped the old lenses back which I thought was pretty cool. Will definitely use them again for lens replacements! Best part I did it all online and didn't have to hassle with anyone at a store!
After a second pair of frames and a long wait, I am happy with the glasses so far. I just got them last night and have not yet had a chance to use them in the sunlight.
This will be the test
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
