I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Aimee in your customer service chat department. She was extremely helpful with me today which I am extremely grateful for. I had tried calling your customer service department number however it said that employees were working from home due to the virus and was not available at the time I needed assistance. The chat option became available and though I had my doubts about getting all my questions answered Aimee did remarkably well. She was patient and professional. Truly a professional, Jordan is amazing. You don't need transferred to 3 departments and put on hold when you work with him. He made my experience with Legalzoom so much better than I have been having in the past. I really am looking forward to working with him in the future. Thank you so much, it's hard to find absolutely amazing employees, but you have one here. I contacted Legal Zoom online today as I required information on formation of an LLC in NJ. I interacted with one of their representatives called Eden. All my queries were answered in a very pleasant and professional manner. I got a very clear perspective of what the actual requirements are and I was also informed about the timeframe. LegalZoom chat customer service is great!

I asked some questions via LegalZoom chat today and got intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, helpful answers. So unusual for chat help! I think it speaks highly of this company and it's services, or at least makes me feel more comfortable. I have only just signed up so can't speak to the services I have purchased, but the chat help was great. (Kind of like when you go to a restaurant and the rolls are great, you know the food will be great, too!)

I could give them zero stars if I could. The operating agreement they sent was out of date and had stipulations that do not apply to the state I live in. Run away these guys are awful and when you try to get help its joke.

Divorce paper work
July 7, 2022

I went through legal zoom to get divorced to find out i only paid 500.00 to get my packet typed out by their AI when I could have gone locally to get papers free of charge at my courthouse fill them out by hand and then just pay 200.00 to file locally. I found it to be very misleading to new divorcees, I've been waiting a year now to get divorced because of the hold up on money issues. Then after paying, the instructions instructed to just take filled out paperwork to courthouse where you can get embarrassed you got ripped off and then you are back at square one in this process.

I called today and had the pleasure of working with Wayne in the subscriptions department. He helped me with a lot of questions at once. I had just registered my business and felt like I was treated like an official business person. It was nice to be recognized in that way! People like him make starting a business so much easier.

I am so upset right now, at the end of everything on my receipt it stated I would get charged in monthly installments. I had no idea that there were extra annual fees costing me well over $600 and that this would be charged automatically to my card within the first month of purchasing my LLC. I am devastated because it is not something I budgeted for. I am a brand new business trying to do what's right and I feel so taken advantage of. Not to mention I waited for customer care for over an hour and half.

Although I am still at the beginning stage of this business, set up, Legal zoom has made it an easy experience. Their customer service personal are very knowledgeable and patient. She first believed that I actually had a problem not seeing my documents available for download and worked around it by emailing the documents directly to me immediately. She was polite, professional and most importantly, helpful.

I filed a legalzoom order to have a corporation started, paid to 48 hour expedite my order on a Friday, 6 days later (Thursday) and I still haven't received my EIN number. They promised it to be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, and now instead of being accountable they will not refund me for their mistakes. The only reason I knew there was a hiccup in my order was because I called them. Then I was transferred 4-5 times, my call was dropped and I was not respected or fully reimbursed for my expediting. No one with the company is accountable or informed on what they are selling you, and they do not stand by their promises. I would never treat my clients this way.

I was on hold today for over 3 hours in total. Hung up on once and had answer other calls on the other. Legal Zoom uses trickery to give you a free service for 30 days, then they charge your card $548 for some Tax Prep Fee. They are going to return the charge but why would anyone want that in the first place. If you want long hold times and zero communication you've found the place.

Very poor management, never refer to anyone for this. Don't call them. It is absolutely scam; I had a very frustrating experience with this company. The website was very late in replying me. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Purchased a Living Trust on 10/3/20, and unfortunately received terrible customer service to the point I cancelled my purchase on 10/16. LegalZoom claims to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and offers a full refund within 60 days of purchase. I was informed by their personal services dept that I would be refunded everything except $50.00. They explained that there's a cancellation fee with a deed company within my living trust. I was never made aware of this or even spoke with anyone at a deed company. In fact, my trust application was never completed before I cancelled. Bottom line, LegalZoom has loop holes in their satisfaction guarantee. And they have terrible customer service, don't explain things up front, and if you need help they really don't care about you as a customer. So glad I never completed the Trust as they would have been a nightmare to deal with moving forward.

I've always liked LegalZoom for they can provide a basic level of legal documentation and services at a very fair price. Also, what really impresses me is their customer service function. On a couple of occasions, I've had issues related to the work purchased and thus had to contact their customer service staff.

I do appreciate the fact that I was able to speak to a person who could figure out the essence of my issue; could get to a "live" person without being on hold for an inordinate amount of time; and then, get my problem resolved without them having to take it to a "higher authority". I am also always pleased with how smoothly issues get fixed and wished that other websites would take a similar attitude.

They give you a receipt and a small * next to one of the items, which most of us would miss. Then they keep deducting that amount off of your credit card. Beware people, you will not get a refund. Ridiculous, but that is how Legalzoom works!

I accidentally saw my bank statement and realized that they have been deducting 14.99$ every month! Called the customer care, but they wont refund my money

The most inept group of people I have ever dealt with in my life. Paid them for 5 years as my registered agent. When I didn't receive my biennial report paperwork I called them. Here we are 4 weeks later, absolutely no progress and my business will be dissolved in a week because of their laziness. I was absolutely guaranteed a return phone call today, by an escalation manager. No call, no email, nothing. Yes, the dissolution of my business doesn't even merit a response from them. Weeks of phone calls, hours spent on hold, an endless array of useless phone reps, absolutely no progress, no responses to emails. The level of customer service is staggeringly inept. Never, ever do business with them. I am so sorry that I am about to lose my business over this, I am crushed.
