I used this to help create a lease for the first time. It was easy to use and included what I wanted, but put it in legal terms for me! I forgot to cancel the free trial and was charged the monthly fee, but they are graciously refunding that money- and even that process was easy. Their customer service people, specifically Danny U, were kind and prompt in meeting my needs. I would recommend LegalTemplates to any amateur seeking reliable legal advice.

This is absolutely a scam to collect personal info... avoid!
When I entered the info and then could not get the form I inquired how to get it through the chat, the answer was "Enter the information".

Here was a 'follow up' email I received... talk about condescending.

We do not collect personal information, it is not our interest, you asked how to create a form and we explained that you would need to enter the information which is how you create the form online, if you would have asked something like how do I download then it would have been a different story, having a bad review by you does not affect us at all, since our customers who actually do know how to ask the correct questions instead of getting angry for no reason, understand how we work.

I found the available legal templates on this site to be quite helpful. I live in North Carolina, where Civil laws can be tricky. The templates available for both the civil process and the NC Tenant and Landlord Agreements were not only useful, but in accordance with our state guidelines. The actual documents compiled through this site, were very professional, and had the correct legal jargon upon them. When I did run into a concern, Benjamin in Customer Service was not only very kind, friendly and professional, but assisted me immediately and resolved my issues on the spot. I would definitely recommend to any personal or professional entity, and would use this service again when needed.

While this is a great service, I only needed it for one document; so naturally I went for the free trial, and while I canceled it a week after, I was still charged $39.95 the following month. I went back into my account and assured that my subscription was cancelled, and called the 800 number seeking a refund, since I was essentially paying for a service I was not using, and had cancelled TWICE. I spoke with Charles and he was extremely understanding, and helpful in assisting me with receiving a refund. Great customer service!

I came upon this business when I was looking for a form that I could fill out so my parents could take my daughter out of the state without any worries about legal issues if she needed medical assistance and found it was super easy to fill out. I looked at everything else Legal Templates has to offer and I found a lot of stuff that I could use now and that I would like to use in the future! Unfortunately I'm unable to pay for the subscription at this time (being the sole provider for my family) but I will definitely keep their website bookmarked for when I can afford to pay for the subscription. I also wanna to commend Benjamin, a representative for Legal Templates, for providing me excellent customer service at getting my refund processed as early as possible after I forgot to cancel my free subscription a day too late. Overall, Legal Templates forms are much more thorough than anything I could have come up with on my own with such short notice that I would need a paper for my daughter to be taken out of the state for a day trip with her grandparents.
