I was so excited for my lehenga and ordered weeks before the event to ensure timely delivery. My first mistake was ordering from Lashkaraa. At first, the tailors seemed great - they caught a few mistakes I had made in my measurements and were able to make suggestions to correct. Everything went down hill from there. 10 days went by without any updates on my order. When I reached out, the order was 2-3 days away from shipping. The order did not ship within 2-3 days. When I followed up again, I was told the order will ship in 24 hours. Then customer support emailed to say that the order had been dropped off with the parcel carrier, but no tracking available. I was hopeful that the company wasnt a scam and followed up again asking for a tracking number. When they finally send me the tracking number - my heart sank. The tracking number indicates that the order was actually dropped off 4 (!) days after customer support had claimed so which means customer support had lied to me in their emails. Lashkaraa had also claimed that they dropped off with expedited shipping since the delay was on their end. However, the parcel carrier shows regular shipping was selected. This is either the most disorganized company or the employees are told to lie to customers without repercussions. I wont even receive my dress until after the event at this point. After all of this, Lashkaraa offered just $20 store credit for my inconvenience. I will not be shopping with them again. Avoid at all cost!

Purchase a jumpsuit however this was twisted. I'm on one side and the other side reached out to Customer Service to see if I can get a partial refund since I was to go get myself. They never responded. It's been three months since I wrote them two months and no response to Customer Service That sucks. Took a chance on them again ordered a dress came in however, the size couldnt be more off It was a large instead of a medium 38 it messured 40

I am extremely disappointed with the service and the unnecessary hassle I had to go through. I do not recommend this company at all. I purchased a Lehenga Choli for $214.43, but the color, fabric quality, and craftsmanship were noticeably different from what was shown on the website. More importantly, the website explicitly stated that shipping was free for orders over $199 USD, which heavily influenced my decision to purchase. When I decided to return the item, I followed their recommendation and paid approximately $85 USD for return shipping via USPS. Initially, they informed me that I would receive a refund of $182.27. However, after reviewing my return, they emailed me stating that my refund would instead be $161.52, citing a 15% restocking fee and an undisclosed $25 shipping charge. At no point before my return was I informed that a shipping fee would be deducted, directly contradicting their free shipping policy. I have attached receipts showing both the original and adjusted refund amounts, along with pictures comparing the product I received to what was advertised. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and their policies are not only misleading but completely unfair. TL;DR: Extremely poor product quality, no willingness to address customer concerns, and hidden fees. Unless you have cash to burn, avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered two salwar kameezes. Neither of them fit, their sizing was very off and their stitching was awful. Found out that one of them was not refundable because it was on sale even though it was not stated so during check out that it would be non refundable/returnable. The other item cost me nearly as much USD 90 to ship it back to India from the US. So it was absolutely not worth returning. Customer service was not helpful at all. I wasted USD 250 on it and will never buy from them again.

I would never recommend Lashkara if you are in Canada unless you know your exact size and you're 100% sure that's the outfit that you want because otherwise if you're trying to return it you're pretty much guaranteed to lose about 50% of the total amount you paid to just return and pay for return courier fees to India and the restocking fees. Horrible experience start to end, even though I was happy with a few outfits but not happy with the Service or extra fees I paid upon receiving the package. Also don't believe any of the ready to ship timelines as those are also not true, Nothing ships that quickly and if you have various time frames, they wait to ship everything until the full order can be fulfilled l😤 Buyer beware!

The dresses are way too small (don't match the size guide on the website). And on top of that there's a zipper on the left side which doesn't even open all the way. The bust is too small (less than 32" when website says 34") but the shoulders are too broad. How's that even possible? They cannot stitch properly. The dress doesn't fit at all. They also put a weird cheap material cancan type inner underneath the anarkali which makes the look super weird because it flares up in an uneven manner. And for the returns they are making the buyers pay the shipping fee, customs fee and a 15% restocking fee so you end up paying more than what you paid for the dress. So yeah they're scammers!

I was super excited to receive a suit custom made. The first thing I noticed is that the color of the kameez is GREEN, and not CREAM as indicated in the description. It seemed small just by looking at it, but I try to put it on, and noticed that it was 2 whole sizes too small! I looked on the inside, and there was at least 3 inches of fabric on each side inside for the tailor to have made it the correct measurements. Overall, the zari work is cheap, but I could have lived with that had it fit me. I would like a refund since the dimensions requested were not honored. Also, I have been told that Lashkaraa is removing negative feedback posts, so don't be surprised if this doesn't show up on their website. But I'll be posting on trust pilot and other websites! I've had numerous back and forth with their customer service and they are still insisting that a product that was sold as "CREAM" on their site was meant to be green, and that the differences in my screen caused the color being completely different! I am appalled at their lack of accountability.

I purchased Lashkaraa's Sea Green & Pink Saree. It was $199 regular price, ans I also found it on Pernia's pop up shop, so thought the quality would be great as it must be a luxury product. It was NOT - the sari was a very cheap material similar to the material of cheap Halloween costumes, and the print was only on one side, so the inner side was white. The service was a mess too - after agreeing to make a custom size for me, they took an extra week to supposedly "stitch" it, but then sent me a standard XXS - which was somehow HUGE. They then told me that I would need to pay the shipping to return it… The last straw was when they asked me for a review - I gave them the one star I thought the sari deserved (there were no other reviews) and they aren't allowing my review to post. Instead, they sent me this apology note. Ugh.

Super expensive only to have zippers break the day of event. Please avoid to save you from tears and anger

Do NOT buy from them. There business is a scam. Bought a dress at the beginning of June and still has not arrived. They have given excuse after excuse about why it hadn't arrived and then when I ask for refund they say it takes 10-15 business days. I am on day 15 and still no refund and now the company says they are having refund issues on their end. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. This business is a piece of work!

I have ordered outfits from them on two separate occasions. On both occasions I communicated with staff consistently about progress of the outfits. Both times I was informed that everything was progressing on time. And then the week of delivery comes and nothing...

What makes it worse is that employees over email would tell me one thing, but customer support on the phone would tell me something completely different.

Super unprofessional. Do not rely on them, even if you have a lot of buffer time between the delivery date and the event you need it for.

I have placed two orders with Lashkaraa, neither of which I received because they were delayed several weeks past the guaranteed arrival dates. When I requested updates from their team, they repeatedly made false promises. Even their refund was (and is still) delayed - supposedly "due to a technical error" in their payment system. Baffling.

If you would like to receive your order on time, I strongly suggest placing it twice as early as you had originally planned, or better yet, going elsewhere.

I was told refund will be done in 12-15 days. 1 month later, and still no refund. I send them an email, and the response is "Our system is down" so refund will be 5-7 days more! This has been a nightmare

The clothes are beautiful, however, they forgot to add the blouse pads even though I paid for it. You need to pay the shipping charges to return the clothes, which is expensive. Also, even with custom fit, the blouse fit is very weird.

Do not buy from this site, as long as you want to keep whatever they are sending you.
I bought a dress, not in custom size and unfortunately it was a bit too small and I did not look nice in the colour. I wanted to send it back, they will only refund you after cutting 10% of the buying price, they will also charge you for the shipment and I had to pay 80 Euros to get the dress back to India...basically its a rip off. Also the quality of the Velwet was not high and customer service was rude to me on top of this.

I purchased a Peachy Pink Embroidered Straight Suit in August. I sent my measurements and a picture to illustrate my body type which is taller and on the slimmer side- US size 8. The rep said that I should use the tailor's recommended measurements instead of having the garment made to my specifics. I was concerned that the garment would be too big, but deferred to their expertise. We exchanged a series of emails regarding size and preferences.
When the garment arrived it was huge in the hips and tight across the bust- much larger than the tailor's recommended measurements by 7 inches. Due to the beading, alterations to make it a suitable fit would have to be extensive. Customer service has not been helpful. After sending requested pictures of the garment next to a measuring tape showing that it was poorly made, I still have not been compensated or provided with any resolution. The material is lovely- but sadly the garment is unwearable. I would not recommend this company, as I have purchased other Indian clothing from competitors and been totally satisfied.

I ordered the Dark Peach Sequins Embroidered Crop Top Set and the quality was SO POOR that it actually scratched and took skin off my arm. The color of the fabric was also way off. The website shows a light peach but in reality the outfit was an offputting greenish yellow color. It's not wearable at all and when I contacted lashkara about the quality/color they did not even respond. I even wrote a review on their website and they removed it. BE AWARE!

I have ordered from many sites and never been so disappointed in the quality of dress. With stitching paid over $255 and the dress is awful quality. The embroidery and lace is so cheap that it actually hurts when you wear the dress as it's wiry. Dress is not appropriately lined and is made is some cheap stuff material. Color is nothing like the pictures and is a light pink. Pants were so off tailoring wise they are literally falling off and they included no cord to tighten. Close up of sequins shows you how cheap their materials. Requested refund and did not even get a response. Beware before ordering - place is scam.

Buyer beware. They will ship out defective products and do whatever it takes to not refund the amount. They sent me a dress with a faulty zipper and offered a '$10' credit. The zipper Needs to be completely removed and sowed back in. After letting them know of the issue they offered a refund while deducting the amount paid for free shipping by them and asked me to pay for the shipping amount back to them. To add to that they also asked me to pay for the 10% refund fee that their bank would charge them.
