Laptopscreen.com web site was easy to use. I called and they double checked stock. I was a little let down that the phone operator could not tell me the brand and mfg PN prior to the sale. The monitor was not the same brand, but was an exact replament. All in all it was a good experience buying from them.
One odd thing was the location on the web was Seattle, but the charge was international. Not a big thing, but was flagged by my credit card co.
As always, one can only comment on his firsthand experiences. Mine was great. I had a damaged HP LED. Looked up a replacement by the laptop model #. Since I've been burned before I also took the precaution to disassemble the laptop to get the LED's HP part #. With that part # I was able to quickly verify the two available replacement options (glossy/matte). I ordered the matte replacement and it came in about 4 days brand new and undamaged. It works fine, looks great and the price was fair all the way around.
Others may have (or may yet) experience something different but I will not hesitate to return in the future.

This was the first time that I placed an order with laptopscreen.com. I received my new screen in the time frame that was promised. I installed it myself using the DIY videos on their website and it couldn't have been easier. When I turned the computer back on I was amazed at the quality of the picture. It was like brand new again. Independent computer doctors in my town wanted $179.99 to install a new screen and I did it for $84.00! I will definately use them again for my next purchase:)

Took a little longer than I expected to get my screen, but not longer than was quoted to me. Just used to getting things in 2-3 days from Newegg and the like - but then they have multiple hubs to deliver from across the US. Other than that - my screen arrived safely, despite being packed in nothing more than a box (albeit it a sturdy one) and a bubble-wrapped envelope. They had no installation videos for my particular style of computer at the time (MSI-GT70) but by watching other installation videos, I was able to pop my old screen out cleanly enough and install the new one. There were no dead pixels and so far it is still working fine after about a week. So, all-in-all I was pleased with my purchase and would use them again if needed - here's to hoping I don't need to though - nothing personal laptopscreen.com. ;)

Saved almost $300.00! Daughter dropped her computer. Not covered by warranty. Dell wanted 378.00 to repair screen on computer that was purchased in December for $449.00! Spent about $80.00 with shipping (and currency exchange, they ship from Canada). I had sent emails about which screen to buy on the weekend and received responses during that same weekend! Note! The SAME screen will have a DIFFERENT part number depending on how you look it up. If you use the screen part number for look up you get a different number than if you look it up by computer name. Meaning when I looked the part up different ways, I got different numbers. Anyway, They were very helpful when I asked which of the 4 different part numbers I needed to order! Installation was easy! Watched the videos provided. Only nervy part was undoing the connector plugs (I used a magnifying glass and an xacto blade, since it was a very thin blade, to pry it apart) and having to pull the old tape holding the wire in place off the back of the old screen (this was not shown on the video I watch.) It was suggested to me to plug the computer into another monitor to check the problem was the screen before ordering. VERY pleased, but hope to never have to buy again!
Purchased a Dell Studio 1569 laptop screen and not only did the screen come in perfect condition, shipped quickly and well protected, the price was better than their competitors... There is something wrong with your thought process if you need a new laptop screen and do not purchase from laptopscreen.com...
