My daughter informed me the her laptop she uses for college and other girls in the house also us it. That when she came home and went to use her laptop, found the screen broken and could not see anything on the screen. She sent it back to me, and I contacted Dell as it was still under warranty, Dell said the screen and mother board is not covered under her warranty. But they would fix the screen for $385.00. I was furious. I went to the internet, and typed in Bing, laptop screens how to replace. I found a several sites that described how to change it. I then found a video of the process. I watched the video and found out how easy it was. And that I could order the new screen for $62.00 plus shipping. I disassembled my laptop and checked the numbers on the screen to verify I was ordering the correct one. I ordered it and it was here in a few days. And it went right together just as the video described. I love this place, the easy to understand video and ease of ordering. I highly recommend this site.
Website information is abundant and helpful. I also called prior to ordering and got a quick response without a long delay. $80 LCD saved me from having to get a whole new computer! I was amazed how easy it was to swap out the LCD following the detailed web videos on installation.
Overall, these people were excellent: they have good prices, easy online ordering, attentive technical support, prompt delivery. The product arrived in great shape. The only glitch was some confusion over the correct model number to be ordered, but their online support cleared that one up quickly and cheerfully. The very best thing about these guys is their online instructional videos. That's the reason I ordered from them in the first place. I watched the video a couple of times, followed their instructions, and now my Mac has a beautiful new screen that works.

I am not the type that often comment upon my purchasing experience.
But as I know many others who have had less than favorable experiences with having their laptop screens even repaired locally. Perhaps sharing this experience may provide some enlightment to having them replaced (Do it yourself).
My daughter had dropped and cracked her ASUS X56U laptop screen after only 8 months of purchasing it. The local repair labour & screen cost was estimated at well over $200.00. (Nearly half the cost of the laptop itself).
After searching the web for screen prices, I settled on Laptopscreen.com for a few reasons; website was easy to navigate and find the required replacement screen, Pricing, shipping, Good service feedback/experience.

Easy to install. They have a great program to encourage consumers to post videos of how they replaced their laptop displays. We found one for our specific laptop that was spot-on. Took 10 minutes to replace. My daughter thinks I am a superhero!
I bought my lcd screen from them when mine broke. I am also out of the country. They had the cheapest prices that I could find. Shipping took 2 days to be delivered (to Italy). I was quite surprised by that, even though their part was that they shipped the same day as the order, the rest was UPS. When I installed it I had a problem with the image not coming on. I made a support ticket on their website, received a reply with a possible solution the next day, and it resolved the issue.
My experience has been a positive one and I would buy again from them if I ever need to.

I had a damaged screen on my HP G71. I did a search online and found these guys. Website was great. Found the exact screen for my laptop and ordered it. It was shipped by Fedex in two business days as they promised. I have never repaired any PC or laptop before. I watched their online video to learn how to do it. No problems at all. I have had the new screen in for a couple of weeks and has performed as expected. It's not not often you get what is promised anymore.
