I was a bit skeptical at first because of many mixed reviews but in 5 days of my parcel being shipped out I finally received it today (I live in Australia fyi)! I honestly couldn't be happier - everything was packed so well (i thought the poster tube would be shipped out separately but it all came together in one big box!) They took extra care as evident in the excessive bubble wrapping and air tight packets to protect the albums haha. There were no mix-ups or missing items; everything i paid for and was expecting came. Didn't have to pay for GST either
A big plus is that i got photocards of my bias - JIMIN! 4 times :) will be definitely ordering more from Kpoptown in the future! Thanks guys!
It's my first time that I made an order from kpoptown and i'm very pleased with them! IMy order came really fast and well packaged! Execpt that I had an excellent experience with the customer service! For sure i'm gonna buy from them again!
My first order i pre ordered bts ynwa album and it took way over 8 weeks to get here maybe even 10 i kept messaging back to get a refund or literally anything and my only reply was an automated message telling me to keep waiting until 8 weeks? IT'S BEEN OVER 8 WEEKS? I ordered here again hoping it would be alright but NOPE. The time i write this its been 8 weeks and no message back don't order from here unless you want to wait +10 weeks also the "special pre order gift" for the bts album was just 2 group pictures with the kpoptown logo.
I made an account just to review that this site sucks okay
My order for SEVENTEEN's album ''Boys Be'' (HIDE ver.) came after I purchased it online 2 weeks ago. Though the edges are a little off, I would like to say that for such a cheap price and fast delivery the album is worth every cent! There is high chance I will order again from Kpoptown!
After reading so many bad reviews, I was skeptical whether or not I should order from kpoptown. I decided to risk it and ordered SHINee's Married To The Music album with a poster. My products came on time (not early and not late), the CD was in bubble wrap and packaged, and the poster wasn't folded or torn at all since it came in a tube. I'm not sure if I'm lucky to have had such a good experience, but I didn't find anything wrong with ordering from kpoptown.
I own more than twenty albums, all of them are from kpoptown and i never ever had any problem. It's true that it takes "a long time" to be shipped to your house but you have to keep in mind that it comes from Korea so you won't have it the next morning (and that's something that people who are used to buy on asian websites are used.). I never had any custom fees and the albums are always packaged in several layers of bubble wrap. They also have most albums including ones from underrated groups and they count in both Hanteo and Gaon unlike kpop stores from my country so what can we ask more?
The only negative point is that shipping fees can be expensive, it depends on the weight of your order. But it's still cheaper than local stores from my country sooo... And lightsticks are not fake, unlike most you can find on Ebay. I can't say for posters because I never buy them.
¨PS: I live in France btw
Its good website I order 2 times all come in time BUT expensive shipping
18$ is very a lot and my things only 19$ but what to do this is the only way to buy my albums T^T
I hope they think again on shipping cost at least for people who order more than 3 times and with normal post mail
I ordered six lightstick. Twice was late for some weeks. Blackpink lightstick was not in the package but they claim it was in the box and asked if i have checked carefully. But come on! I open the box and took out everything and it wasnt in it.
Than two lightsticks was totally damage even thought the main box wasnt damaged. So it felt like those two lightsticks was already damaged when they packed them
Hello guys! I recently just bought 8 kpop albums (7 bts 1 Got7) from Kpoptown and honestly I was extremely nervous after I read the $#*! reviews that was given on this site. It seems tragic that Kpoptown gets so many poor reviews but my experience with them was A+++ Like their packaging is so thorough that it annoys me a bit to dig through all of their bubble wrap. If I were to nitpick, there was one very MINOR dent (I scanned very carefully to find any flaws) and that was about it. The shipping was also extremely fast omg like even though I purchased standard shipping both of my packages came in about 1 week (I live in the US) 0:
This will not be the last time I order from them u v u I was really happy to see that everything was ok! On a scale of 1 - 5 stars I'd honestly give this place a 9 star: 3333
If you guys have any questions on my review just email me@ *******@gmail.com or PM thru my *******@cicibep
I ordered three times from Kpoptown and the third one will probably be my last.
First time I ordered two albums and they arrived after 16 days and they came in good condition.
Second time I ordered four albums and they arrived after a month which was already ridiculous but they came in good condition except one album that was a little ripped on the side (I guess it got damaged during shipping) but it wasn't that bad.
Third time I preordered Stray Kids Clè 2: Yellow Wood limited edition and they shipped it out one day after it was released. But since today, I've never received it. Last update on my tracking was on July 1st and until this day it still says that it's been in transit. But it's been over two months. I've messaged them once in July asking about whereabouts of my album and they said they send request to Korea post to open an investigation about whereabouts of my album and that it could take up to few weeks. It's been a month since then and I've gotten no updates so I messaged them again and they basically said the same thing as the last time. I am really mad about everything because it was a preorder and limited edition that I won't ever be able to get again.
I ordered the repackage album of EXOs 'The War' and I got it in two weeks. I was really suprised and happy how fast the shipping was (I'm from Germany)! Everything was well packaged. I didn't order a poster with it so I can't say anything about that.
One little detail I disliked was that somehow the CD itself in the package wasn't secured but I think this is not a mistake by kpoptown.
Overall I'm really happy about my order and would order again from kpoptown especially because all the sales count to Hanteo as well.
In my opinion and for my location (France) it's the fastest and cheapest option. For bigger orders (I'm talking 39+ for the free shipping) I used yesasia, but if I buy one or two CDs (which is what i usually do) I use this website.
I've probably purchased around 10 albums and DVDs (usually poster included) from them and there's never been a problem (except with a poster tube that was seriously dented, thus damaging the poster inside, but it was a poster released 5 years before I purchased it so I didn't think much of it)
So, 5 stars for KPOPtown as a KPOP store.
Kpoptown.com is a wonderful site and I don't see why it has negative reviews. All my products have come on time and in perfect condition except for my G-Dragon poster. It had some sort of yellow stain of the back and a small tear. However, it was the only product that had faults. I camouflaged the tear and the stain doesn't matter because it's on the back. They really package everything really well before they ship it so that it doesn't get damaged. My EXO Overdose album was wrapped in bubble wrap then wrapped in thick orange paper that's already lined with bubble wrap. If that isn't secure I don't know what is. I had difficulty tearing the paper because it's of such good quality. The best part is, when you buy certain items, you earn these vouchers that are worth 20 cents. Some items even give you 2 vouchers. They can be used in your next order. After you buy a couple things, they really add up! Kpoptown.com's products are not the cheapest and neither is their shipping. It's a few dollars more than Kpopmart.com which I'll also review. But, Kpoptown.com has much more collectable products and fashion items than Kpopmart.com. They're really worth checking out. You won't be disappointed with your order! I've only had a one problem so far and I've ordered from them several times.
Every time it perfectly wrapped and protected and the highest quality products are delivered. I don't understand the hate for this website either
I bought from this site several times and i never had any problems with them before. But recently, i preorder the album of Jonghyun, the 22th January. And after 7 days, the album is still not send. (The album was release the 24 th January).
Then, what's the point of pre-ordering the album? A pre-order, "normally", the seller is under the obligation to send the object on the day the item is officially release. That is not the case. And the customer service is HORRIBLE. If you have any problem with them, they just don't care lmao. They didn't reply.
I honestly don't get the hate on this site. I already bought some albums on this site before and it never went wrong, the shipping did take a bit long since I'm from Europe.
A couple of months back in November, I preordered a BTS album and was very excited to receive my parcel, but I never received it. They replied to me saying, "Sometimes shipping can be delayed. It would take up to 8 weeks by register small packet or small packet service. At the end of this month will be 8 weeks after shipping, so please kindly wait a bit more. It is still normal. If it does not arrive till then, please let us know so we can discuss further."
Yet, at the end of November, they told me that my poster was returned to them. They "charge[d] [for the] shipping cost and there is no refund for poster tube returned." Well, why am I no longer able to claim my poster? And why was I charged without my permission in advance?
As for the album itself? It was lost in transit. They told me to pay for a reshipment.
Why should I pay for a reshipment when I was not responsible for the loss of my package. That was absurd. They promised me a voucher, but with this quality of customer service, how can I even trust their word?
Never buy from KpopTown unless you want to let money slip through your fingers. I wished I read the reviews sooner.
Horrible service.
I payed for tracking number for my poster tube. They forgot to send it with trcking number so they refund my money.
Then later when I received my albums (Kim Jaejoong WWW) they were damaged! Stupid people sent them in a freaking bubble bag instead of a box.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SITE
I'm still waiting for them to reply to me and it's been a week.
NEVER BUY FROM KPOPTOWN.
How long will KpopUSA continue to blame COVID for their lack of customer service, slow shipping and emails where they request you to sign a verification form but they fail to attach the form.
First, sorry for my English. This isn't my native language.
I've already ordered some few things with them, and everything came just perfect!
The two albums that I bought on pre-order were shipped two or three days after the release date, and when they shipped, they have sent me an email with the track number. After three or four weeks, my order have arrived, and since I live in Brazil, it was faster than I thought it would be.
With one of the albums, I've ordered a mini lightsitck, and it came with the album, in perfect conditions as well.
Then, I bought some pins, and some days after it was not shipped yet, so I emailed them asking if there was any problem with my order and they answered me like one day after, saying that there was some intern problem, and in some days my order would be shipped. Then, two days after this email, my pins were shipped and arrived in perfect conditions as well.
The package is very well made: full of bubble wrap and air cushions. The posters came in a tube IN THE SAME box as the album.
So, in conclusion, my experiences with Kpop Town were excellent and I will buy some kpop things with them for sure! And again, sorry for my bad English.
Answer: I don't know if you ever received your carat bong. I hope you did! But yes, carat bongs are sold out almost everywhere! The only place I can think of that is still selling them is musicplaza.com
