I've spent a lot of money buying things from this site over the years and most of the time everything was perfect. This time though, I have received a faulty album, it was scratched and the booklet was strangely warped for some reason.
After contacting them, they offered to refund a small amount of the original price. But of course I was not satisfied with that because the goods they delivered aren't working as intended. I let them know I wanted either a full refund or the item replaced and since then they have completely ignored all my emails. They've not given me a refund of any kind nor a new item.
After being a loyal customer for years, you'd think they would try to fix the problem a little better. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
For the love of God do not buy from them.
The preordered items will always get sold out AFTER you bought it.
But they would still charge you the shipping fee.
No notification or refund about the cancelled item unless you ask them.
I was so excited about my limited edition item and then they tell you two months later they are gone.
So why bother?
I don't get the hate towards this online shop. I ordered a bunch of bts stuff and I live in Germany. All came in very good condition it was well packaged and protect with bubblewrap. Sure I had to wait 3 weeks but from Korea to Germany it's totally fine! And yes I had to pay taxes but that's because of Germany and ok the shipping was high but I ordered a bunch of stuff. And if I texted them they replied. All in all I'm very happy with this shop.
The worse site I ever ordered from. I ordered an OST vinyl album in February of 2022. Never received the item or any information and in August asked for a refund. In March 2023 it was finally canceled and a refund granted in 3-5 days. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund.
Placed an order for a concert dvd on the evening of MAR 08,2022. Received the automated response and nothing else after that.
I sent them an email a couple of days later, asking for some sort of update on my order and received a response 24hrs later (next day), informing me not to be concerned and that my order was being processed and would be shipped out soon.
Exactly one week after placing my order (MAR 15), they finally shipped it out using DHL and it arrived at my door on MAR 18, from Korea to Melbourne, Australia, very well wrapped and in perfect condition.
I didn't mind the 2 week timeframe so much, but the lack of customer updates was concerning, as I would have been left hanging (wondering where my money went) for a week if I had not requested an update.
Anyway, they're legit if anyone's wondering, just keep bugging them if you want any status updates and don't expect them to ship the next day (or week) or anything.
I am very satisfied with the purchase. I bought Christmas Evel. I was constantly informed about the entire course of purchase, shipment of product and delivery. The product was shipped on the day the album was released and was shipped to Europe in 3 days. The price of DHL was normal, not like some sellers ask for over 100 euros, / incredible and sad at the same time /. But Kpoptown did not disappoint me, I am very satisfied, I definitely recommend. And from now on I will be shopping mainly in Kpoptown for everything related to K-POP. Thank you K
I ordered the three ver of What a life album with three folded posters and only the posters had arrived! There's no albums! I have waited for a month and 20 freaking days! I will never order from this $#*!ty website ever again will never do the same mistake again
I sent them an email a week ago to ask about if a product has a specific item and they haven't responded yet. Also their shipping is quite expensive, I only purchased from them cuz I was buying kcon merch. I will not be using them again..
I don't get the bad reviews I've bought from them more than five times and every time the goods arrived safely. The albums come in bubble wrap.
I only has trouble one time and it was my fault (i wrote the wrong address and when i realized it was already send back to korea) and they help me with everything (i was supposed to pay shipping again but they put it waaaay cheaper that it's supposed to be). So overall in my opinion it's a great place to buy kpop albums (your buys count for hanteo chart so that's a great bonus)

I preordered a DAY6 Seasons Greetings 2029 from this website. It still hasn't arrived yet, and I emailed them 3 times, with no response. I should have went with my gut and chose another website to preorder from. I feel so stupid for not checking the reviews before ordering from that horrible website.

Ordered on Dec 22 2018, they didn't ship them until Dec 31, which with the Holidays etc, I'm ok with that. Once they were shipped it took 7 days to arrive at my door, which isn't bad at all coming from South Korea to the U.S.A. I did have to contact them for a Tracking number, but they responded quickly with a number for me and I was able to track it all the way through the delivery process.
Very happy with my purchase, shipping is high but I wanted to be able to track it for piece of mind! Packaging was done well and was secure.

I ordered items like albums and posters but I made a mistake with one of my orders and so I wanted to cancel it but I couldn't cancel it and get a refund. And when I checked the ratings I regret even buying from here. I contacted the Paypal because I used my money from there and the shop. And I'm just waiting for their response. I took pictures just in case if they ever try scamming me. I just want to get my money back and cancel the order. And I wanted to know if paypal will help me get my money back because I still haven't had a update on the order, I contacted the shop and paypal the same day I ordered the items.
I used to trust this store a lot i bought a lot of things from this company. This time though, i recieved 2 albums and they were both damaged. Every page had fallen out. I contacted them about this and they said they'd re-send it but i would have to pay for the shipping. I spent a lot of money already expecting a good album so i wasn't about to pay 20-30$ shipping for something i already bought. And i messaged them saying that i can't afford to pay more money for something i should already have because that's just ripping me off. I emailed them 3 times and they ignored all my emails. Guess who's never shopping from those b*tches again.
I've been ordering from this site for almost two years now, and I've only ever had a few issues. The site has an error where they'll sometimes put down the wrong shipping address if you have multiple saved on your account (I selected my albums to be sent to my home, but later I checked and it was set to go to my college). When this happened, I contacted customer service and they fixed the problem right away. I've never had any other problems, and it usually takes exactly 2 weeks for my items to arrive on the cheapest shipping option. I'll definitely keep using it for the forseeable future!
I usually love kpoptown, but this time, they sent me the wrong item and asked me to return it in order to get the "right" item I originally ordered. Truth be told, I put my foot down and then they told me that they'd give me a partial refund, which was around 10% of the total I paid. Do not order from them. Their customer service is very poor, minimal English skills and plain rude. Good luck getting more customers, businesses like this rarely do well in the long run :)
I ordered from them CD with registered small packet and it took more than 42 days, and I still haven't got my item. Not to mention their very slow replies. I've ordered from korea so many times before with even worse shipping options and it came in less than 5 weeks. They are taking their customers as a joke. I will never order from them ever again, I'd rather order from korean site with agent service.
I ordered a poster with the album, album arrived after 3 weeks, but poster didn't. I contacted customer service every week, and they kept asking me to wait. I've been waiting for almost 3 months now, and still has no clue where my poster is. I doubt if they have really sent it.
My parcel never arrived, it took me FOUR months to simply get refunded. They reply once in a blue moon, do stuff when they feel like it. They have the worst customer service EVER. Yesasia is my go to but I wanted to try kpoptown, never freaking again. Never order from them.
Worst site ever! I ordered 2 albums and they said that the package was shipped back so I have to pay (AGAIN!) for the shipping so I did and until this day I've never seen my albums yet! Honestly, I'm so mad I even gave them a chance! Ebay sellers or amazon are safer and you'll actually receive your albums within 2 weeks or so.
Every time I order from them, the item always came in bent/spoil. When I email the customer service team, they always take more than 5 days to reply my email and ask picture for proved. I sent them the picture and they took another 5 days to reply saying nothing can be done. Whenever there is something happened, they always say they cannot do anything about it. Their apologies is not even sincere. If their items were in TOP condition, I would not mind paying a little more expensive but now its like they trying to ignore the problems and blaming it to their supplier. Sigh.
