I recently ordered from kpoptown: two albums that I wanted to give as a gift to a friend. After the payment was accepted, they proceeded to message me that one of the albums was sold out and they would ship the remainder of my order if I agreed. I had asked them to replace the sold out album to which they said they were unable to do so. I then asked them to cancel my order because their site said I was able to do so as long as they knew my order number and I requested to do so, but they refused and then proceeded to ship my order without permission. They also did not tell me how much I would be refunded. I am now waiting to report this problem to PayPal and I will never be ordering from this site ever again! Do yourself the same thing and find a more trustworthy site to use.
I purchased two caps from the site and got a tracking number. I live in the uk and got the parcel in just ten days, however, when I opened the parcel, there was a cap missing. Sent them an email asking immediately but got no reply since then.
Strongly not recommend buying from there.
I pre-ordered the EXO The War Repackaged Album three days before it got released and paid instantly.
They emailed saying that payment was received and that the item would be shipped as soon as it arrived. They shipped it one day after. I chose the K-packet option which was trackable and was supposed to take 10-15 business days to arrive. It arrived exactly one week after it was sent therefore only 5 working days which I was so happy about. I live in Fiji BTW:)
Definitely recommend them when you start in purchasing K-pop stuff.

They sent my preordered express delivery (3-7 days) to the wrong address and I contacted them multiple times and it takes over a week for them to reply to one email. I have to wait for them every week to answer my questions and I requested a refund but they still haven't replied. It has been about a month give or take. I would order from them if it was an old item but not any recent items.
I've been using kpoptown for almost 3 years. When I first started using them, they were great. If I ordered an album, they would ship it within two to three days and it would arrive within two weeks. NOW, it takes them a week to ship everything and it takes it a month to arrive. Honestly, it feels like I'm ordering from Japan (most of the packages I order from Japan take a month to arrive here). I ordered my album exactly a month ago, an ACTUAL month and it still hasn't arrived. Kpoptown is also very expensive, especially if you want to buy multiple albums in bulks. I recommend using Yesasia if you want to buy more than one album because they have free shipping on orders over $39 so you actually save money.
After reading reviews i wasn't sure but my order was $40 worth (mostly shipping.) The first 4 days and wasn't shipped yet but after i contacted customer service, they got back to me and they apologised. I received my item 2 weeks (as expected with k-packet) and i love the item so thank you!
Never buy wholesale with them, they never respond to suppliers I have been buying with them for 3 years and they never sold me again and now I no longer have a supplier, I sent 7 emails and they never responded I do not understand why they do that if you are a customer, they are very unprofessional NEVER CHOOSE THEM AS SUPPLIERS
I placed my first order with Kpoptown during the summer and was wary as I'd never shopped with them before and just the general idea of ordering from somewhere outside the UK. I was pleasantly surprised when my CD shipped the morning of release and within 10 days had made its way from Daegu to Northern Ireland. Since then Kpoptown has been my go to for cd/dvd orders and I haven't been let down so far. I haven't had to get in touch with their customer service yet so can't comment on how they communicate, however I always picked the tracked shipping option and they are prompt to let me know when the order has dispatched and my tracking number.
A lot of people might have had a bad experience with kpoptown which is unfortunate. I; however, have always had a good experience with them. I order all of my kpop items from them (especially BTS... lol). My orders are always correct and arrive in a timely manner. I've probably ordered over 10 times with them already and I have no complaints. I just hope that others would have the same great experience as I have.
I set my shipping address as the address I am currently located at, but when I checked the confirmation they had set the shipping address as my billing address (which I don't even live NEAR anymore!). I emailed them immediately and asked them if they could change the shipping address manually, they emailed back a week later (one day after I got a shipping notice) and told me that they couldn't change it! I contacted the person that lives in the house right now and it looks like I won't be able to get my album :'( . I emailed again to ask why they switched the addresses and they just kept telling me that they couldn't do anything (which I understand if it was already shipped, but my first email should have caught them in time). I sent one more email to ask if there's anything I, or they, could do (like contact the shipping company) and that was more than a week ago. I don't feel like they'll ever reply with something meaningful > :(
I have always ordered from here and I never had any complains. Shipping takes about two weeks, always securely packaged and if your item is preordered they always give you photocards for free. I would highly recommend
DO NOT ORDER FROM KPOPTOWN.COM unless you want to throw your money away. I ordered 2 Big Bang albums, and never got it. They told me they send it and that I just need to wait. I waited and waited, never got it, now they offer nothing as a compensation. They service is freaking bad, liars, and they're a $#*! company. Don't ever do business with them cuz they really don't care if you are satisfied or not. Hell, don't even know if they really send the albums or not. Reading other reviews seems like I'm not the only one having issues with them.
I preordered the bts ynwa album, I live in Canada so i expected that it would a take a while to get to me. Somewhere in March, I panicked a little thinking my package got lost, so I emailed them. They told me that because I live in Canada, it would take about 8 weeks to get to me. I got my two poster somewhere I April, however, my albums still haven't arrived. I have emailed them numerous times, and they respond with "it's just a delay" or "check your local post office" And til' this day, my albums still haven't arrived. Not sure if anyone has the same problem but, I'm furious and don't know what to do.
Basically I have purchased 3 version of TWICE Japanese album with EMS Carrier which only take 3-5 working days. And it's been a week plus I still haven't receive my item yet. So I email to their customer service about 5 times, guess what, they never reply me at all. And now I'm opening a case at Paypal hopefully I can get a refund.
So i live in canada. I Bought the YNWA album in feb. It's now june and i still have not recieved it. They poster came like in april. So when i emailed them. They told me to check my post office. After doing that and emailing them again i have yet to get a response. Now im moving houses. So i don't think ill ever get it.

Ordered GOT7's new lightstick, the second version, in July. Got no updates on my lightstick until i emailed, and sometimes, i never got an emal back. It's October, and my baby is finally home. Shes official, working, and connects to the app like a breeze. Love it!
Their items comes quick, but they are not secure in the shipment. Many of the stuff I've gotten have been a bit broken and they do not refund ANYTHING. Even when it was something worth 80 USD and every corner was completely ruined.
The reason why I give it 3/5, is because their prices are ok and most of the stuff are good quiality, but don't expect good shipment and don't even think about paying for the most expensive one, because that makes no difference.
I ordered TWO 2days 1 night calendar before Christmas on the 15th. They gave me a tracking number. It only stopped at departed from Inchon airport and the flight number and that was dated 28 December. Today is the 6th and I still have not received my item. I checked online with my local post office and it seems that the tracking number is invalid. After reading all the reviews I have a feeling that my items are not going to arrive,
I would not recommend this site anymore, as they have a huge lack of customer service and do not know how to handle mistakes professionally.
I've been buying from this site since 2017, as it used to be one great way to get kpop albums. They offer merch and lightsticks no other site does, and despite shipping being high I never had a problem when I bought from them. However, I made a big order of lightsticks (worth more than 400$) and something came wrong with the shipping. I do not know if they filled the customs wrong, or if they sent batteries with them, or whatever—I never got the package. When tried to contact them because the package was being returned, they were REALLY REALLY RUDE about it and couldn't stop saying it was my fault somehow for not calling the shipping courier. They told me they wouldn't refund me the shipping since they sent the package, and I ended up opening a paypal claim. It took me a month, but I got my money back. They deleted my account.
Please avoid buying from them at all costs, there are better shops nowadays.
