I asked them not to use a card I accidentally put on file which is my grandsons social security mother from his mother passing away. They said they couldn't accept my card anymore that I had been using for months and charged the social security card without my permission. Customer service was horrible all five times I called. They said their AI handled their bookkeeping and decides whether I can use a card. I always paid early so there is no excuse. I disputed charges with my bank but because I received my product my bank reversed my refund. If social security says it is fraudulent I am proving Klarna did the fraud.
Terrible payment plan company to use. Puts a hold on your account when accepting the plan and you click to review your order. So then when you go to submit the payment, it creates an error due to it already putting a hold and will not let your purchase go through. You then have to wait 7 days! For your money to be available! Do not use!
What a waste of time. 40 mins to find out the free 4 payment option isn't avail. They want to make $500 or 1000 off me for 6 payment option. Even if I have excellent credit which I do. This seems like a payday scam.
I have Had my Account for Years. No issues. Klarna Made a transaction to an unknown source without my authorization. They would not undo the transaction. After wasting hours of my time. They never resolved anything and have horrible customer service. Only conclusion i have is to close account and Reccomend to everyone not to use it
I purchased through Klarna. I was sent fraudulent merchandise and overcharged. Klarna wouldn't help despite numerous calls to customer service. The merchant that they're representing is based in China.
This company did not support me when I was a victim of fraud. They supported the fraudulent website, even when I had the owner of the real website call three way to klarna and explain they are victims as well of this fraudulent company. I showed pictures verifying my true order and where they show the order came from. They tried to give me tracking information and a picture showing the house that it was delivered at. I showed them a true picture of my home from google maps and they still said I owed the bill. The company that they are charging me from doesn't even use klarna as a payment platform.They then proceeded to charge my card 3 times for the same order and return none of it.
Hi for all customer klarna I don't recommend bad experience plus the more you buy and used they keep lowering my spending limit when from $1800 to 1000 I decided not to used no more.after pay its better.
Klarna is the payment service used by discredited companies and no matter how accurate and correct your complaint may be against scammers, they are not interested in protecting the customer. Stay well clear of them.
I was notified today that there was a bug in Klarna's system which allowed them to take money from my bank account without my agreement.
This is a serious crime which they are telling me they cannot fix immediately.
Who wants to do business with a company like this and no one in customer services wants to take responsibility or help me.
These payments should have been deducted from my account in a months time and only when I go into my account and pay them. If Klarna can just decide to take my money when they feel like it this is theft!
I noticed I was told by my bank you have insufficient funds. I looked in to it. Klarna is trying to deduct
money out my acct without my consent. I did change my due dates but they still decided to deduct what I owe them. In which I extended my date till 1/26 of 35.17 and Klarna started deducting on the 1/18 in which I have no funds until 1/20 so that's causing a negative balance. They also deducted another one of 14.17 that's due on 1/22
Do not use Klarna If anything goes wrong with the item that you're trying to receive or send back they do not help you. They have forced me to pay £138 for an item I never received from a company that scammed hundreds of people out of their money, the company is called.Dewett.UK they have hundreds of bad reviews from people like myself on trustpilot but still Klarna refused to believe me, they tell me I gave Dewett the wrong address. They do not believe that my personal details are all auto generated by my computer so it's impossible for me to put down the wrong address. I will repeat, do not trust Klarna do not use this company to buy your good through there are much better ones available.
They doubled up my last payment. I've been getting nothing but a run around with their "customer service " this is becoming my worst experience with buying online. After the run around I got today this has become the worst experience. Would not recommend Klarna to my worst enemy.
Terrible customer service. Was sold a faulty product with additional false advertising, tried to return but the seller was a bit of a scammer so couldn't. Thought that's fine, I paid with Klarna and will get a refund through them, but Klarna contacted the scamming merchant who lied about it being past the refund date, no human looked at it, and I can't appeal. Stay away from Klarna, use PayPal, Credit card or anything else.
I bought a polo shirt at Macy's and returned it. Macy's gave me proof of return. I made sure Klarna knew the product was returned. I have contacted Klarna 15 times since December 31st 2023. It's now Feb 20,2024. I've provided the receipt from Macy's that clearly shows Klarna was credited. Klarna continues to threaten to charge me for the item IF I don't show proof of return. And I have done it 15 times! Such STUPID, USELESS, UNETHICAL customer representatives! Never again will I use Klarna!
Awful company! Checked all my refunds since 3 months ago and just 2 of them have been partly refunded. They owe me almost £1000 in refunds. You have to wait hours to speak with someone on their chat,they're rude or say they didn't received the refund from the company,but the companies are sending me confirmations that they've refunded klarna months ago. I will never use this service again! DO NOT USE THEM! THEY'RE SCUMmERS!
I disputed a charge the bank reversed and I REMOVED my credit card from Klarna and contacted customer service. One month later they billed my "removed" credit card after I closed my account.

So, I have 2 paid orders with Klarna. For some reason, even though Walmart sends all their stuff out in multiple packages, Klarna will split the payments that you make into 2, basically 8 payments instead of 4. I have brought this up several times but they don't seem to care. This is VERY misleading when their terms clearly say 4 payments, not 8. Another problem I have is there is no way to make a payment early. Your only options are to wait til the exact due date of your next payment or to pay it off early but still results in 2 payments, instead of 1. They need to report problems and not just brush you off when you report it to them
Only works a few times before blocking you out. 650ish credit score, paid 4 purchases off on time, and suddenly stopped approval. Signed out, reloaded app, reloaded payment info, didn't matter. My only concern is all of the financial information that is now stored on the app and is useless to me. Will be deleting the app completely. I suggest you do the same. Pay attention to these reviews because they pay people to leave positive reviews in the App Store and major google results.

Frustrated, I contacted Klarna's customer service, only to find myself speaking with representatives in India. When I requested proof of their attempted transactions, the response was disheartening. The representative simply told me to contact collections for further information.
To make matters worse, I recently received my first letter from Klarna, and to my surprise, it was sent to the wrong address.
In summary, my experience with Klarna has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their apparent lack of effort to process payments and the subsequent addition of fees is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to think twice before using this company. They are, in my experience, unreliable and seemingly engaged in fraudulent practices.
