As usual, I booked my flight online. On the day I had my flight I was first rejected by the online check in and later by the check in on premises. No refund from Kiwi, but thanks to PayPal I got my money back.
I booked a one-way flight with Norwegian from SFO to EDI through kiwi.com. Norwegian cancelled the flight due to COVID-19 and fully reimbursed Kiwi for what Kiwi had paid Norwegian.
However, Kiwi kept $160 of my payment as their fee. Their Terms and Conditions state that their "Full Price... includes the... price of Our Services." However, a $160 Kiwi fee deducted from the $437 flight charge is wildly excessive and unreasonable.
One word: Horrible! They confirmed my husband's flight. When he went to airport, the airline said he had no reservation with them and they refunded the money to Kiwi the day of the booking. Kiwi wasn't able to help resolve the issue at all at the airport because they wouldn't connect him to a supervisor and told him to enter a chat and they would respond within 4 hours. What? Horrible customer service and they just repeat themselves over and over with the same thing " enter a chat a someone will respond in 4 hours". My husband was forced to purchase a ticket from another airline at 3 times the cost. When we called Kiwi again to get a refund, it's just been a constant battle and nothing is enough to secure a refund. I had a WhatsApp chat with the airline to get proof and sent this to Kiwi, it was still not enough. So basically we paid Kiwi, Kiwi received their refund but Kiwi doesn't pass that back to the customer.
The worst online booking company! Liars, fraudsters and thieves! They will absolutely not help you in anything. All the time, they will tell you that there is nothing they can do for you! Even if you cancel the flight a month in advance. Their application is made to easily deceive you. There is a possibility to refound for 10 euros, which looks like a cancellation fee, but this information is misleading, they will return only 10 euros to you, even if you pay them 230 euros! Never, ever, ever buy anything through them! Absolutely inhuman approach, they will just invent and lie just so they don't have to return anything to you! If you don't care about problems and don't want to lose money. Avoid this company.
My flights were cancelled due to COVID and I requested a refund in May and I have not received my flight credits yet. Customer service is weak and rude. Customer service told me that I should pay them money to get my money back. Stay a way from this company.
My overseas flight was cancelled due to a strike. Because I booked through Kiwi, they had to issue the refund. The customer service rep told me I had to buy a $50 google credit card then he would issue a refund. When I said I wasn't doing that he hung up on me. I called back of course got the same guy, he hung up again. I called from a different number and he hung up on me a third time. I'm appalled that a customer service rep would react that way and provide no customer service.
This company is horrible. They were supposed to get my flights and baggage. They didnt get my baggage and would not refund. I had to spend an hour on the phone with the airline to get my baggage taken care of.
Poor customer service. I will never use Kiwi again.

The reservation we paid wasn't compliant with the tickets we received, cabin baggage as we reserved, was not included! We paid a lot of money to upgrade our tickets.

Cancelled my flight refused a refund and offered me stupid alternative TWO WEEKS earlier or on alternative flights the same day at 200% of the price available elsewhere. Thieves, avoid completely, or loose your money!
Edit: This gets worse, much worse. I contacted JetBlue asking about a refund for the cancelled flight and they advised that the flight HAD NOT been cancelled, that I still have a booking and I had been misled by Kiwi. So now, having rebooked with Delta, I have two flights that neither airline will refund (as you might expect)! I'm out A$700+ plus because of Kiwi's shocking incompetence! And when I take this up with Kiwi they won't even acknowledge their mistake! As I said, book your travel with these people to your financial peril!

My flight was delayed and rescheduled for tomorrow but they did not inform me. I stayed and slept at the airport without relief. Had I known, I wouldn't have traveled yet to the airport.
I booked 4 flights with Kiwi. The airlines canceled my flights due to a storm. When I called the airlines they said they can only refund Kiwi since I booked it through them. I called and used their online refund request may times. It's bee almost six weeks and they are still holding my money!
Booked a flight online, printed the itinerary and saw there was a self transfer to another airport 61km away with only 3.5 hours layover so tried to change the flight, that didn't work so cancelled it. Nowhere did it say you will not get your money back if you cancel nor did it say no refunds upon purchase. Keep in mind the cancellation was in under an hour from purchase and the booking was almost 2 months in advance. After cancelling got a message saying I got a $15 kiwi credits refund and that's all no money back… I called and they refused to refund the flight and also refused to uncancel the flight. This company should not be allowed to operate and some members should be in prison for fraud.
DO NOT USE. ABSOLUTE SCAM. I have had issues since booking with them. They book the flights with Incorrect details so you are unable to manage the flights youself. They are an OTA and ryanair are now not allowing me to check in via the app or online... can only do at the airport at £55 extra... stay far far away
I bought an indirect flight with a shirt connection. I added a transfer guarantee, extra charge.
Although the first flight wasn't late, we (there 5 people in my situation) didn't make the flight and had to look for another flight, only 7 hours later.
Kiwi didn't take any responsibility and didn't reimburse me for the new ticket. They referred me to a hidden section in the contract that says I had to contact them first. I told them that they have no phone number, only a chat that can take up to 4 hours for them to get back to me and when I was looking for a flight, from the airport, there was one last ticket for that day so I went ahead and booked it. They didn't reimburse me for anything!
Another thing, I wasn't able to check in online via their app and in the airport in manchester, Ryan air told me I had to pay 55 gbp since I booked via Ota and not them. Of course i paid it.
My vacation was only 3 days and because of kiwi, I lost 1 day and paid double what I planned.
Your kiwi.com guarantee is just a scam. Offering 10 as reimbursement for a flight of £500+ is just insulting and you're taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation to release your responsibility and survive with your lies. You're AWFUL. Thieves!
I paid 2357. 59 AED for 2 ways travelling only for 7 days going to philippines and coming back to dubai. But as the situation is critical now i want them to refund my ticket cause saudi airlines is already lockdown and they dont have flights anymore.Kiwi.com are telling me that i can rebook and get a refund through manage my booking but the truth is i cant, we cant even rebook and refund our ticket, cancellation policy is nothing. I am calling time to time of thier contact numbers but they're saying the agents are busy. Please i am suffering of this situation please return my money I dont want to travel anymore. GOD is watching of what we are doing to others
They rip you off, even you are into the 24 hours of storno and refund request... they msg you they will email you inside 10 days and 30 days of decission... but i waited 40 days and need to call overseas that they told me just, sorry nothing. Bad company, this one will not survive on the market.

They booked me a flight that was for 13:40 on my itinerary, only to find out that it did not exist on my date of travel... cost me thousands of dollars, and now I cannot reach there customer service to get a refund. Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
