Booked a train ticket from Montreal to Toronto. Once I reached VIA Rail they told me my booking did not exist. I had to call kiwi to ask them what is going on. I had already paid in full for the ticket and they said they had no idea where my ticket was. I had to buy a new ticket at the station and kiwi did not help me in any way! I still have not gotten my refund from them. They are scammers and will only take your money! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
The help desk personnel did nothing to answer my questions, or resolve my issue. I will no longer use this company to purchase my airline tickets. The agent wasn't very knowledgeable on company policies. With the question that I asked it would have been more beneficial if someone above the agent intervened. Overall horrible experience contacting customer service, complete waste of time.
Also this company does not offer refunds, it is a complete scam! Even top airlines allow refunds within 24hrs of purchase. I found a cheaper flight on the actual airline site, and asked for a price match. Kiwi agent responded with a copied and paste message about their refund policy. Got a flight confirmation for a date I didn't choose. I called less than an hour after to change or refund and they offered me $10 off my next flight with them. They don't want to give me a refund. They also didn't give me a name, email, ID number, supervisor name or number or anything other than a made up first name and the location Europe. Calling them garbage is an understatement.
I booked a ticket with Kiwi and one of my flight got cancelled. They told me to choose an alternative and pay the full price. I chose to cancel all the flights because the alternative was too expensive. When I requested for refund, they only refunded me for the flight that got cancelled. They are not willing to pay me the rest of the money. Although the carrier has 100% refund policy due to COVID but the broker is not refunding me the full amount. I even purchased the travel insurance just in case if I end up cancelling it. They are not honoring that insurance either. I also paid extra money for fast refund and it took them over 4 months to get partial refund. They don't have phone number to call and they are not very helpful via emails. It's a scam. Pay a little extra and book it directly from the airline and save yourself from dealing with these fraud people. Im reporting them and opening a dispute with my bank. Won't let them steal my hard working money from me.
I mistakenly booked a flight and immediately called to cancel. They charged me $97.00 and will only refund me $65.56. They basically just stole money from me. They have quite a racket going. Book your flight directly from the airline. This company is disgusting. UPDATE. They refunded my money ONLY after I reported them to Kayak.com and the BBB. Be diligent and demand your money back!
I wish that I read all this reviews before falling for $35 cheaper price offered by this website/group. Booked a flight from DEN to MEX with a checked-in through this fraudsters, but once I got to the airline counter at the airport to complete the check in, I was informed that my ticked is not valid/is in pending status. Tried to call in to Kiwi customer service but no one there to help me and got rejected after 2nd call -including dropped calls. So yeah, I lost the damn flight and my $200 (plus $75 uber). Save yourself some time, money, and brain cells and "Don't Trust This Website"

I bought tickets 6 months before a trip at a reasonable price. Then two months before the trip both flights were changed and not getting me to my destination on time.
Kiwi offered alternative of even worse schedule adding an extra layover to an already long flight.
I requested a refund and they only refunded 1/3 of the flight telling me it is not up to them and there is nothing they can do.
Now I am not given a real option to reach my destination, not refunded the money and have to buy other tickets shortly before the flight at a much higher cost.
This is a complete ripoff.

Our flight path over 17 hours was from Costa Rica > Panama > Miami > London Gatwick.
Just before our flight from Costa Rica > Panama we received an email from Kiwi saying that Online check in is not available for this flight, please turn up 2 hours beforehand to check in at the airport'.
We turned up 3.5 hours before the flight as we know sometimes there are queues.
On arriving to the check in desk, we get told that the flight is full and that we will be on stand by as we didn't check in online. I told them how I was told that check in online was not available and that we had connecting flights.
Either Kiwi doesn't have access to online check in, or didn't check.
Avoid.
DO NOT purchase from this site it's a scam. 2 months before the trip and they canceled, you just get a notification that all parts of your trip or parts of it are canceled and there is no refund. They literally take your money
Since one tear now I am trying to get a refund for four tickets booked with them. Akwats get the same standard answer that they are waiting a response from the airliner. Really I regret I have booked with them. Customer service very poor
My flight was cancelled by the carrier and kiwi refused to refund me even though the airline carrier said the refund should be done by kiwi. They stole my money and refused to return it back. Be careful before using this agent.
I missed a connecting flight which was covered by the Kiwi.com-Guarantee, which meant: if the connection is not working, they will refund me the ticket costs. I thought, well, that's fair enough and booked the flights. In Frankfurt I was without any chance to reach my connecting flight with all the bus shuttles and terminal transfers I had to take. Kiwi.com acknowledged this and refunded me the costs - BUT: My alternative flight, which I had to book, cost CHF 170 and they refunded me CHF 25.88 which is absolutely ridiculous. My conclusion: the Kiwi.com-Guarantee is not worth a penny and you have to check for yourself if a connection is working or not.
I requested adding my Pre-Check numbers through Kiwi ten days in advance. They confirmed receipt and said it would be added.
On the day of checkin, Kiwi sent me my boarding pass without my pre-check info, and said it was too late to add my info since the boarding pass was already issued... despite my request and their confirmation ten days prior that it would be added.
Kiwi hides the airline PNR confirmation number until the last minute so passengers are helpless in contacting the airline prior to receiving the boarding pass.
I recieved an email telling me I needed to check in online before a certain time on the PREVIOUS day (i. E. the email was sent long after the deadliner had passed) or else I'd need to pay 50 euro fee for on-site check-in.
There's no way to contact customer service and the help pages on the website are infinitely loading (I waited about an hour total to receive no content).
Eventually, I booked the same flight directly with the airline, checked-in on line by myself, and decided never to use Kiwi again.
Do not use this website. I cancelled my flight expecting a refund. When i found out there was no refund I asked if I could have my flight back and they said that because I cancelled my flight I lost my tickets. So they stole my $800 and did not give me my tickets back. I paid for plane tickets and didn't even get to use them. I feel completely scammed.
Kiwi are SCAMMERS plain and simple. I booked a flight to Lebanon to which they sent me a confirmation and I have all the proof. In fact they had booked me a flight to Cairo without informing me in any way! My confirmation ticket and what was shown on the website says Lebanon, no mention of Cairo. The Kiwi representative tells me this is a fake ticket for people who want to save money (stop over in Lebanon then continues to Cairo) and does not want to refund me which is as we all know illegal. Basically they booked me a flight to another country without informing me. This company should be reported to the police. Absolute SCAM beyond shady.
Fake company, i booked for Dubai to Bahrain and i have the ticket showing my destination is in Bahrain but i visited airport they said in the system my destination is in Islamabad i spoke with kiwi customers care 2hrs they said apologies only they simply cancelled the ticket and book for another day, but how important i need to visit my destination, also if i can't travel i need to go back again book hotel stay one more days/night also they said they Will not refund it...

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a traveling agency. I couldn't board my flight due to testing positive to Covid. I called and emailed kiwi to change my schedule but no response. This is an absolute mess
100% SCAM. Don't ever book through them if your trip is important to you. This company is absolute trash and will extort you while at the airport to get you to pay more for your ticket. They lure you in with lower than normal prices and once you book they'll say the flights have changed but you can pay more money to use different flights to your destination. STAY AWAY, ITS A SCAM
Seeing the cheapest price, Like anyone, I made my booking for AED 1240, and the next minute to change the date I had to cancel the booking expecting they would refund the money after some deduction. But they took almost full money as a cancellation charge. This is literally fraud and looting money. Even airlines will refund 80% of the charge after cancellation. But KIWI is just a fraud. They say it is their so-called policy. Please do not fall for KIWI.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection.
