DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I booked a special holiday in August 2020, which got caught up in the pandemic. I got all my money back from, Qatar Airlines and a credit with air Asia. Luckily I booked the various accommodation via Booking.com with the free cancellation option.
However I booked part of the journey with Kiwi.com. This was with Air Asia and Citilink. The flight times changed which meant that if we had been there we could not make the connection. I paid £18 to fast track the admin process. Now its 24 months since we were supposed to have been travelling and I have received nothing. They state they have had a refund from Air Asia but can't give it to me until they get a refund from Citilink. No update, can't speak with anyone. No refund on the fast track payment. They state they are still processing the refund. Absolutely diabolical service
Paid for extra bags to be added for our flights they took the money then got in touch the day before to say they couldn't add them. They then followed up by refunding less than half what we paid for the bags. Horrific customer service line. Avoid at all costs.
One star is being generous for this company. Their customer service is absolutely unacceptable. My flight was changed to have a 22 hour layover meaning I have to spend the night in that destination, and due to the fact that "it is under 24 hours" it is a minor change - as if 22 hours vs 24 hours makes a difference. They refuse to give a refund, and even worse, they don't even have the courtesy to offer an alternative solution nor rebook on a flight still through Kiwi that is still an inconvenience for me. They try to rid themselves of your problems in the easiest and most convenient way possible for THEM - no consideration for the customer. Absolutely will never use again and will not recommend to anyone!
If you are ever thinking of using Kiwi.com, you should literally take your money and throw it out a window at a stoplight. At least then you would get some smiles out of the hundreds of dollars you will lose anyways.
They are literally one of the worst travel agencies I have ever had the disgust of working with. I have been to every continent and flown circumferentially around the globe and never had to deal with such money-grubbing, "put the customer last" people in my entire life.
Complete scam! My e-ticket was a fraud. First part of the ticket worked and then I was stranded in Singapore because the second part of my journey did not exist! I had to book a new flight on the day to a different location in the UK which was very expensive. In all my years of air travel, I have never experienced anything like this. I called customer service from the airport and they were arrogant, rude and not interested in what had happened. They kept claiming they had sent me new tickets but that I had not responded to emails or text messages (completely untrue - I have kept all communications from this company. I have alerted my bank to the scam and they are chasing up a refund via my credit card - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I paid for priority boarding for my flights Vienna-Paris. After 3 days I got many emails saying that they add it to only one flight and for another one they didn't. I thought it was a joke because the whole reason why you're doing that - is you want to bring a trolley on board. But having it only one way doesn't make any sense.
So, they refunded Priority Boarding for Paris-Vienna but left one for Vienna-Paris.
I told them that pls refund me everything Priority Boarding for both flights. And they're telling me about the fact that they can't and telling me that it was a 'technical problem' to book Priority Boarding for one of the flights.
So the operator was like, I cannot do it for the flight back, but who cares, let's do it for a flight to the place and refund a back one.
How should I use it?

Book a flight with the kiwi flights...unfortunately one of my flights was cancelled by the carrier. I tried to contact the carrier to change my flight to the next day but the kiwi.com cancelled my whole booking previously suggested me two flights that were completely not convenient.Therefore I asked for refund...it was 7 months before...they suggested me 59 euros instead of 900 I paid for tickets...and not to mention how hard to reach them...no answer for phone...no one to talk with...THE KIWI FLIGHTS IS A SCAM...DONT BOOK YOUR TICKETS WITH THEM
I was supposed to have a 2.5-hour layover in Calgary, but somehow it was changed to 24 hours. I called kiwi they informed me it was a minor change. I could understand a minor change being 5 or even 8 hours, but 24 hours? This company doesn't respect the buyer; if someone pays more, they are quick to throw you on whatever floats their boats. NEVER AGAIN!

Kiwi.com is a SCAM! Dont book through them! As usual, they are big time cheats. They offered me a ticket, where the connecting flight is not possible to catch, with the lay over of 2 hours. It was done in an emergency mode. When I called up their customer services, they are citing the rule of 48 hours for the change. If bookings are done in emergency mode on the same day, how can a 48 hours rule for change apply! Absolutely ridiculous!
Do not book a flight through Kiwi. I added the additional $25 for the insurance. I had to cancel my flight do to work. They did not give me a refund. I am out $200. Do not book through kiwi. Scam do not give them your money!
I buy ticket last week by kiwi.com but I am changing my mind about my flights.so when I buy a ticket I pay extra for insurance kiwi guarante.but you don't refund my money.I am really sad about this company
I tried to board at Narita airport in Tokyo and got rejected because I didn't take the PCR test. They didn't accept any refund because the cancellation policy said they were not responsible for any covid-related problems. They didn't give me money back for the return ticket despite me signing up for the travel insurance. Presumably, they don't have a regular there and no customer will use their service anymore. Otherwise, they would give money back to make sure that I would use it again.
They have the WORST refund/change policy ever. Airline rescheduled my flight with a 5 hr time difference that wasn't going to work for me. Talked to the Kiwi reps and my only option was to BUY a new flight (with a lousy $10 discount) because they only consider it a "major" change if it's a 24 hr change. I went directly to the airline website and, using the confirmation #, was able to rebook an earlier flight through them at no extra charge. Kiwi is a joke.
I was very disappointed with Kiwi. First I had to pay a fee for booking with them. I have neer read that anywhere on their page - it must be somewhere in the very small paragraphs!
Then the e ticket said, that I have a flight, on which I can not check-in language. So I packed my hand language ( it had the right size and weight but American told me that my personnel item can not have wheels (!) So I had to check it in and pay 35 Dollars.
On my return flight, Kiwi did not inform me about a flight cancellation. I had to wait 9 hours in New York. Customer service told me, that they had not been informed by American, but when I called American they could tell me the exact day and time when they have sent the email to Kiwi (3 days prior to the flight!)
It was definitely the last time I have used Kiwi.
I had two bookings purchased on Kiwi that were canceled BY THE AIRLINE in May/June of 2020 and the refund request was submitted on kiwi.com in June for travel in September. I see one of my requests have been declined and the reason Kiwi provided was "the carrier declined the request" although I have confirmation from the carrier that they provided my refund. The second refund request is still outstanding after 8 months. Will never use this company again and will be filing a consumer report against this company. I can't even get a hold of anyone on the phone and they immediately hang up on customers. This is major fraud.
I planed my trip from MCO to AMS at August, this agent over the price for two passengers is $1752.99.
I locked in the price and payed a down payment of $175.24( balance $1577.30). I received a price confirmation. When I went to finish my booking, they change the price as well as they wanted to charge for a carry on bag for $157 each. Not to mention check in was being charged at $357 and change for the seat insurance?
When I called the airline costumer service, the rep said you have one check in bag and one carry on for free. This company can't be trusted and they didn't have any contact in the country and they are located outside USA.
I bought two flights with them for all my family, two days later they sent me a message that the flights were cancelled by the airline. I check in the airline the flight was not cancelled, they sold me tickets which didn't exist! I requested refund, they told me they will check my case and get back to me in 3 months! It has been more than that and no news from them. I spent 500euros in these flight tickets and it seems I won't ever see them back. I've tried to reach them by phone, email; social networks… nothing!
I recently paid around £8.50 to 'Lock the price'.
By the time I had put my holiday request into my line manager and HR, the 'lock the price' had been released resulting in the flight fare going up significantly in the time frame.
Disappointing service.
Booked a train ticket from Montreal to Toronto. Once I reached VIA Rail they told me my booking did not exist. I had to call kiwi to ask them what is going on. I had already paid in full for the ticket and they said they had no idea where my ticket was. I had to buy a new ticket at the station and kiwi did not help me in any way! I still have not gotten my refund from them. They are scammers and will only take your money! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
