I applied for a refund for a flight in May. In July I was told that it takes 3 months to get a refund and that I cannot be given an update. They blamed the airline for being slow to offer a refund, then claimed that the company has so many claims that it takes 3 months, then I was told that I should have paid for refund service if I wanted better service. There was no commitment to returning my money even in 3 months. This is clearly not a reputable company. I would suggest buying elsewhere regardless of the potential savings.
Same as the rest of the reviewers. They have a beautiful website but behind it they behave like scammers, zero absolutely zero help to get my money back for canceled flights due to COVID. I will never book with an online agency again. Always go directly to the airline's page.

That's the worst company ever. You will never have your money back, if something happens with your flight. They will lie to you till than can't make up something new. That's the biggest scam I have ever seen.

Please do not buy any flights tickets nor trips with kiwi.com. You are gonna be excited for the low flights prices but at the end of the day you are going to get scamed. They sell you the ticket, after a few days they send you a message saying the fight was cancelled, they are gonna offer you other flights, more expensive than buy with the own flight company, of course you won't accept it. They are gonna advise you to apply for refund but the refund you are gonna get is much less than what you pay for. This company is not trustful. Do not get scamed by them. Be smart and stay away from them.

I paid for connected flight for 3 persons. Kiwi.com charged me for 3 persons but gave as only 2 seats and an infant! I specifically paid for 3 people so my 22 months old can have his own seat but hey took money and didn't book seat for my child! Absolutely disgusting! Things got even worse when I added baggage and bought Cabin baggage but they charged me for baggage assistance at the airport as it is connected flight! I bought CABIN baggage so I don't need bloody assistance at the airport!I wouldn't recommend Kiwi.com at all. Good advice just use their website to find flights and book it directly with the airline.
Part of my trip was canceled. They asked if I would like to cancel or choose their suggested alternative trips. The alternate was way more expensive so I canceled. That was way back in July. It is now September but I still have to receive my refund! The trip was for 6 people in Europe.

My flight was cancelled due to weather in December. Although I purchased flight insurance, they simply cancelled my flight without the option of rebooking me. If I wanted to rebook it was going to cost me $5000! For a 5 hr flight, originally $1000 (xmas prices). The airline confirmed they had sent the refund to Kiwi.com two months ago and kiwi continued to deny they had received it. It is over two months now, and they have since disconnected their phone lines so there's no way of contacting them. I finally got confirmation that the refund is "being processed, but in a different department and there are many factors outside of their control so they are unable to give me a timeframe for when I'll receive the refund"
The flight was $1000, I never took the trip and now I'm paying interest on my credit card, while Kiwi scams everyone, withholding their money for as long as possible.

Hi guys, I was also a victim of this horrible company. After fighting with them for 11 months I won my case.
1st advise: don't wait for their delay of 90 days, cancel the transaction with your credit card ASAP.
2 advise: Don't waist your time talking with them, they know they're a fraud and sleep well at night.
3rd advise: I'm canadian so I couldn't be protected by my laws since they don't have a physical address on my theritory. However, THEY HAVE to respect the laws in their country so I contacted the
Czech republic consumer protection office and they forced them to refund me in a week.

I booked a flight and locked pricing in, emailed 5 minutes after asking for support as there was an error in the booking time. The email indicated I needed to send to another email address, I did. I got another response saying "this email address is invalid" please use another. Then attempted to use the chat service. No response. I emailed a number of time and no response. I finally received an email indicting I need to finalize my booking and the deposit / changes are non refundable. I called to share the documented background and they were nit helpful at all, and essentially charged me card.
I am extremely disappointed with Kiwi.com. I booked a flight through them and it was cancelled due to the airline, however, they were unable to provide me with a suitable alternative flight within my budget. They offered me a refund but it would take approximately 3 months and there was a 20 EUR handling fee. On top of that, the baggage fee I paid for the original flight was non-refundable. I was very frustrated with the lack of customer service and the lack of options they provided me and I would not recommend using Kiwi.com to anyone.
I booked 3 tickets from San Diego to Vegas on 5/12 on Allegiant Airlines and accidentally booked through this company, KIWI.com, on Kayak. The airline canceled all flights out of SD that evening and we were left stranded at the airport with no other flights going out that night (that's another story). Long story short KIWI.com, 3 months later, are still stating that they have not received a refund from Allegiant. Our money was refunded from the airline on the same night that our flight was canceled. This is a sham company who are just ripping people off.
When I went to do my check in at the airport, the employee from the flight company could not find any reservation with my name. The reservation was made in another person name! I lost my flight and they didn't give me any solution
I just came back from Mongolia, my trip came through Tokyo Japan. When my flight arrived in Tokyo I was taken from my flight by the airport officials and informed that I must buy new tickets on a different airlines because Kiwi.com had booked me on a domestic flight to Hawaii and that I do not have a Visa to enter Japan to get to the domestic terminal. I ended up buying a ticket on Hawaiian air for $1094 to make my connecting flight. Kiwi.con informed me that does not quantify for any refund.
I wish I could give negative stars here. They are a 3rd party site and so your flight is guaranteed to change. When it does, regardless of how much you paid, they will offer you 10 EUR as an alternative. I booked a $1000+ flight, it got changed, so it didn't align with the wedding I am in, to cancel it, they literally offered me 10 EUR and no option to move. This is the biggest scam in air travel.
Make sure you call them before you leave the online check-in up to them. One time they check you online without your knowledge, the other time they do not check you online at all and you are required to pay airport processing fee which could amount the half of the ticket price.
This was the worst experience ive ever encountered when booking a flight through Kiwi.com. When I purchased the ticket from Kiwi.com it was clearly mentioned direct flight from Washington to Istanbul. Additionally, I've Kiwi's written confirmation that this is the direct flight to Istanbul, but when I arrived at the airport, Turkish airline informed me that this ticket has a connecting flight to Italy and US citizens are not allowed to travel to Italy due to Covid-19 restrictions. Also, Turkish airline told me that this website is deceiving people and your ticket is not valid. However, I called Kiwi.com customer service again and again to resolve this issue or refund my money, but they said sorry we can't do anything to help you. You need to buy another ticket. As a result, I lost my money and missed the flight. Kiwi.com is a scam. People should never purchase their tickets from this website.
I booked a flight with Kiwi in december 2022 for july 2023. In march I received a message from Kiwi that the flight has been cancelled by the airline. I could choose a new option for a price that was twice the price I paid initially, or I could cancel to get my money back. I cancelled the flight. Kiwi took 6 months for the repayment proces and only returned half of the initial amount.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection.
