I booked a flight 1 stop flight with a short layover. About 2 weeks after I paid I received an email saying my flight had changed, log in to see. All I could do was acknowledge the change. Turns out because I acknowledged the change, I'm locked into the 6 hour delay. Paid to leave in the afternoon, shirt layover arrive home in the evening. Now we leave at 8 in the morning! And board the same afternoon flight, to arrive home in the evening. Kiwi is not helping. The airline is Wyzz Air. I've booked with Kiwi before, no layover. I won't use them again. Dishonesty at its finest.
Before we book the ticket, we asked is it possible to fly with a puppy and they said yes, it is totally possible so we bought a ticket and they said we can't bring a puppy... this is a Scam! We asked the cancellation, and of course they said, we have to wait for 30 days and it is not guaranteed that we will get the refund... What is wrong with them? Never ever again!
Kiwi.com is by far the most nightmarish experience I've ever had with a 3rd party travel site. My flight was cancelled due to COVID-19 (not Kiwi's fault), but they are telling me that there is not a guarantee that I will get 100% of my money back, and that if I see anything, that it will take three months to process my refund. Three months. Are you kidding me? I called the airline directly, and since Kiwi's Visa card was used to process the transaction, the airline cannot refund it back to me. This is little more than theft, and I'm astounded that they are still in business.
It's very bad, scammer kiwi travel app do not ever to do any booking with it
I have very bad experience when I had booked with kiwi app,its end uup so costly alot more when you doing booking with the the airline
Terrible company and rubbish customer service. I booked flights for me and my dad and when i tried to change flights no one got back to me through the help desk even when i sent lots of messages. When i could finally call and get through 14 day before i could fly again not every helpful looks like i won't get my money back now. I definitely won't be booking with them again and will book my own flights next time! I would advise not to book with this company and do some research and book your own flights and hotels.
I booked two connecting flights with Kiwi and was very apprehensive. As one of the airlines was Eurowings, it was 40 minutes late, which greatly lessened the chance of making the next flight as there was only 90 minutes between them. Kiwi warned us of the delay and they offered alternatives or complete refund. In the end we made it!
I try to purchase a air ticket and they never confirm the ticket, but took my money from my bank account, is no way that you can speak with a person by phone and they don't want to return my money now when they never give me the tickets, now they said I have a credit. This is very unacceptable and I don't know
how they can operate legally because basically they stole my money and now they trying to force me to buy from them when they never give me any tickets and I never cancel anything. Don't buy anything from then.
I booked flights and received an email with the wrong flights on it. I am 100% certain I booked the correct flights, but the confirmation email was wrong. Kiwi are refusing to accept that there is a problem with their website. Their customer service is absolutely shocking. They keep repeating that the flights are no -refundable, which I know, but I did not book the flight they sent me. I have repeated myself 14 times now that they are the wrong flights. They just keep repeating that that's the flights that were booked. 10 hours so far on the phone and I'm no further forward.
I need to share a shocking experience with Kiwi.com - AVOID THEM! They took my money.
I booked a flight from Tel Aviv to Copenhagen through Kiwi.com a few weeks ago. The airline (Pegasus) canceled it due to the war in Israel. Due to the fact that the airline canceled the flight, a full refund is always being issued in this case. Kiwi.com already got the money.
So what Kiwi.com is now doing? Saying that Pegasus Airlines paid them only 78 USD - a complete lie! I paid more than 900 USD for two tickets.
In other words, Kiwi.com is stealing my money and they know that I cannot ask Pegaus to share with me any information because the booking is under Kiwi's email and not mine.
Kiwi.com, I'm waiting for your response. If I don't hear from you soon, I'll have to take this further and share my story everywhere, maybe even go to court.
Bought a ticket from FLL to DC and paid it with PayPal.
Received and email saying they need payment verification. Had to go through questions like: "what was the purpose of your trip", or "where are you calling from"? (do this questions help to verify the authenticity of my payment?)
They told me they will need 4 hours to approve the payment and they will send me a notification. Never received a notification, instead (10 hours later) I received an email notifying me that the price of the ticket had changed.
I called them back to find out if the payment was finally approved. The answer was "yes" but I need to pay the difference of the new rate. Are they kidding me?
Kiwi.com looks to be totally fraud. I booked a ticket with them and airline told me that there is no such booking. The customer support is not accessible. I had to buy a new ticket with double the price of original ticket on airport. When I went to file a complain in BBB in USA, kiwi is not even listed there. They are a
Was supposed to fly to Spain from Denmark today but Kiwi.com never finalized the reservation. Couldn't check in online and was told to do it at the airport only to find a sold out flight and no record of my booking. Spent 5x the cost on another flight and no explanation from Kiwi.com.
kiwi.com informed me that one of the flights in the itinerary is canceled and I need to rebook that part of my trip. I checked the airline website, the flight was NOT canceled.
This is a very obvious FRAUDULENT.
kiwi.com needs to be banned. I wonder if there is any forum where I can file a case against them that would ban this company.
One star is even too much for this website. This is scam! They canceled my flight and they are refusing to refund the fee. Kiwi, you guys should be embarrassed!
If you decide to buy a ticket here, think that you won't be able to travel and you won't get your money back.
We bought a ticket from them which was cancelled by Turkish airlines. We were happy for any alternative flights and Turkish airline was happy to provide one. However, Kiwi.com was requesting an additional £400 for an alternative flight, even though Turkish airlines was providing it for free.
After emailing back and forward with kiwi.com and writing my bad review to
All kiwi.com website Lucie (from kiwi.com) took her time and deeply investigated my
Case. Make my story short I end up with a full refund after all.
I wanna say thank you to Lucie for her dedication and time.
I booked two tickets from Vancouver to Vienna for my son and
Myself. Then I tried book two more tickets for my other two boys (age
15,12) with different return date ticket. I was not able to buy them
Online so I called kiwi.com. I was told that one of the boys needs to be
At least 16 (as per airlines policy) to fly on they own. I contacted both airlines and the age limit for flying is 12 years old. I called kiwi.com again and asking them to sell me those two additional tickets. Now I was told that it is kiwi.com policy that they need to be
At least 16 years old. I was advised to cancel my first ticket and re-book again. I did the cancellation immediately. I received email that my cancellation will be dealt with within two weeks and it is up to the airlines what the amount of my refund will be. That got me worrier as most airlines have 24 hour full cancellation refund policy. So I took action to my own hands and contacted both airlines asking them to cancel original flights and fully refund kiwi.com. I have received confirmation from both airlines that full refund was submitted to
kiwi.com.Kiwi.com refunded me two weeks later with the amounts they have received from airlines minus 20 EUR handling fee. "Therefore there is no more refund available" to me as the email says. I am still short of 595.16$CAN which kiwi.com is refusing to return.
If you call kiwi.com there is no one who would answer my questions regarding my case. They also either sent automated email back or do not response at all.BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
This is the most dubious website I have ever transacted with. I am out of over $1400. They have a refund policy then they said that they cant refund because they already gave the money to the airlines which they didn't disclose to me. They then asked me to call the specific airlines who basically told me to get in touch with kiwi. So I got the round around.
We booked tickets for a flight and at the time of booking it said we could add checked bags after booking. When we went online to do this it would not allow us to add checked bags even though we can go on the airline site and they allow them. After a lot of research to find a contact number we called them and the told us we could cancel the flight on line and we may or may not get a refund. Save your money and use a different site!
My family and I booked round trip air travel from the U.S. to Brazil. At the last minute our itinerary was changed by kiwi and we had to pay extra for the alternative flights. The original itinirary included checked luggage and kiwi was trying to have us pay additional fees on the alternative flights. It took nearly a week for them to admit that they were double charging. Upon our return, I deleted my account on kiwi. I strongly recommend to stay away from using this deceptive and untrusty travel site.
I applied for a refund for a flight in May. In July I was told that it takes 3 months to get a refund and that I cannot be given an update. They blamed the airline for being slow to offer a refund, then claimed that the company has so many claims that it takes 3 months, then I was told that I should have paid for refund service if I wanted better service. There was no commitment to returning my money even in 3 months. This is clearly not a reputable company. I would suggest buying elsewhere regardless of the potential savings.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
Answer: I am sorry you are going through this, I checked but can't seem to find a record of it either
Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.
Answer: Because people don't know and they offer cheap flights.
Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.
Answer: Booking service... and a bad one on the market. Outrageous and not responsable to their customers
Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
