One experience with Kiwi.com and it was the worse. The trip was planned with two stops. The reservation was ok, but we got teh boarding passes they were wrong and the second plane was leaving at the same time than the first one. I obviously missed my connection and got stuck for two more days (before christmas). Never saw that before! I ended up taking a new ticket (from my own money... so noway we book with them again!
Kiwi charged me 150 dollars to get the kiwi guarantee which said that I would have a full refund in the case of a cancelled trip. When I had my trip cancelled they didn't give me any of my money back, and then tried to pass it off as my bank's problem. I called and of course, it wasn't. Never book through kiwi. Ever.
I had no problems, they kept me informed. In fact they could not check me in on one flight and sent multiple notices telling me if we were charged at check in to get a receipt and I would be reimbursed. I was charged and they did reimburse me.
My short notice flight was in a pending and i read other reviews of what a nightmare the company is to deal with, so I clicked the option to cancel Booking and received this message "Sorry, an error occurred.
Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel your purchase. Your booking has already been confirmed by the carrier(s). Please reload the page to apply for a refund." - when i reloaded the page the transaction was still pending meaning i could do nothing and my money and plane ticket were in limbo.
If i could give this company 0 stars i would. They canceled my trip, the agents advised me to not cancel since i still had my tickets coming back home, i was told to choose how i wanted my money refunded only thru the website and the only option was credit. They would not take my answer verbally. My trip was 600, they only wanna refund me 240 back in credit. I am so upset because i have been fighting it for the past 6months. They dont even have a phone number anymore. On top of that i paid for expedited refund only to find out 6 months later that it is still processing while an agent said the refund process was done. So messed up! Please do yourself a favor and book through a different website

Terrible experience! I bought a ticket with 2 connection flights. Usually when you do it online, a agency would make it as a single ticket so you are able to tag your luggage all the way to your final destination and dont have to leave a transit zone to pick it up after every flight. Very useful thing, specially if you dont have a visa in a country you are transferring thru. This guys buy tickets separately. I did not have a visa and not sure how I will claim my baggage. I am currently waiting for my connection flight and trying to find someone to go and recheck my baggage again. Poor customer service!
Complete scam, I have booked a flight and need to change it 5 minutes after the book, the flight got canceled and they robbed me 2700 USD. No adequate support to speak with either.
I was trying to reschedule my flying dates 5 minutes after the booking was made. I have followed the steps for this process on the website, however, the process is seriously misleading. The company policy is to refund $10 for a $2,700.00 booking, it is an unfair policy and misleading policy. I have called the support immediately and they have told me that they can't do anything. They said that are going to schedule a supervisor callback. I have scheduled this supervisor call 5 times and never received a call from them. I have repeatedly asked for simply to recognize a credit for this amount paid to either reinstate my original booking or book a new. They have refused to do this. At the end the are getting a 2,700 profit at zero cost, and without providing any service.

I literally just booked a flight on kiwi.com and a few minutes later I realized that I had booked it for the wrong day. (Should have been one day before). So I called up thinking no problem as it hasn't been 24 hours. I simply needed to change the flight for one day earlier and would gladly pay a fee. I call customer service and they tell me I can go into my dashboard and make the change but will have to pay for the new flight. THIS IS HILARIOUS because they call it a change BUT it's just me booking another flight. DUH! How the is this acceptable? Anyways I want to be sure I could leave a review somewhere people can see it. Please be advised. This is an untrustworthy company.
I would give a zero if possible. I arrived at the airport to find out that the flight I booked through Kiwi.com didn't exist. The airline stopped servicing to my destination city after I purchased the ticket through Kiwi. I didn't receive any notification from Kiwi. What I did receive multiple times from Kiwi was confirmation of my confirmed itinerary. I was forced to pay $500 out of pocket to book a new flight to my destination city. Kiwi refused to pay back the $500 citing that my "guarantee" was voided because they sent me a notification... that I never received. I'm on my third phone call with their customer service center and getting the EXACT same response every time.
Do not use this company! Their "unique" customer service guarantee is truly unique in the way they they completely shaft you. Our booked flight was cancelled apparently and the offered alternative flight was not acceptable and the refund offered was £150 when we had paid £580! They say that's what the airline offered but our contract was with Kiwi not with the airline. Customer service are totally unhelpful and leave you on hold of ages which is great when you are paying for the call. We continue with our case, not happy!
When my flight from Prague to Amsterdam got cancelled, kiwi automatically rebooked me on a flight to Warsaw Poland and refused to provide a refund or flight change. From what I can tell they do not have any customer service. A few days later I received an email with a link to request reimbursement. I filled out the form and never heard from them again
Kiwi is extremely unaccommodating. Flight changes, refunds, and cancellations are not even in their vocabulary.
I wish I did more research on them ahead of time before booking flights, as I would have steered CLEAR of them. They do not offer flight insurance for US citizens and do not prioritize customer service.
Kiwi is a prime example of a company putting profit over people. Disappointing.
I used Kiwi to purchase two one way flights from MEX to SFO for $521 USD. After taking the flight, I noticed we were charged an extra $231 by the airline Volaris. When I followed up with Kiwi, they stated I had to pay a "check in" fee to the airline directly.
Kiwi's email confirmation gave me the instructions: "Check in with the airline
We don't support online check-in for this route. Please check in with the airline. Look for their check-in counter or kiosk at the airport."
No where in the booking confirmation does it state I have to pay an extra 44% fee once I get to the airport. They are denying my request for the $231 refund.
Kiwi has dishonest business practices and you should not use them unless you are ok with getting scammed.
Very bad experience. Kiwi does findo good prices... but it does not allows you to see the policy of each airline... and if you chance something it does charge hidden taxes... also no online check in...
A Terrible company which has no commitments to their customers! I booked a flight that included 20 kgs of checked-in luggage which they confirmed. Later the fail to secure the luggage and left me in a position where I have to pay 8 times more at the airport to pass my checked-in luggage. Reached out multiple times to their customer service and they were of no help at all. They kept repeating the same none sense without understanding the severity of the situation their company put me in!
Horrible customer service. Wait an hour to speak to someone and they will gaslight you when your patience is already very thin without helping you at all or even giving you the notion that they want to help you.
I should have googled kiwi.com before booking a flight.
I was provided with a wrong and invalid reservation number that made it impossible to check-in. Luckily the airline was helpful whereas Kiwi was not at all.

They weren't able to add the seat I ordered to my flight. They promised a refund, but it has never been sent. They deleted their email address after some communication. After four months still nothing has happened. Their helpdesk doesn't answer. It seems they just have stolen my money. Legal action will be taken.
I booked my ticket and and wanted to change the date, so I cancelled the ticket, which I did it within one hr of bookings. They replied me next day, not eligible for refund even though i had another ticket booked form them.
Worst experience.
If your flight is not within 14 days it is impossible to speak to a service rep directly. You are force to 'chat' with a service staff which cannot understand or simply does not read the chat messages. Finally, when within 14 days of my flight I was permitted to talk to a service staff on the phone and twice the phone line was disconnected forcing me to repeat the problem. I offered to email the chat exchange to the service rep. When I emailed my concerns and a transcript of the failed 'chat' exchange to the email address provided I received an automated response email that said this address is no longer supported. Phew, 10 hours of 'chat' and phone calls and I am done. Say good by to my $245 Euros.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
