My sister was late to check in her flights in Cancun because her baggage was delayed twice if anyone likes to be stranded they should book with them horrible they don't even deserve a star rating. Making people pay for something that's not their fault
I don't why consumers have to put up with these kind of scams and just plain robbery. If I buy a ticket to go somewhere it is expected that I get the service, if there are cancellation, changes or delays, you can not wash your hand, keep peoples' money and say you do have the "kiwi guarantee" other way of stealing money. I was traveling because of a death in my family, my flight got delay I lost my connecting flight and you fix it by charging me $300.00! That is just wrong. 0 starts! They do not deserve 1.
Worst policies! Today, I bought a ticket from kiwi and wanted to change the flight even before 24 hrs and cancelled my booking. The amount i spent on this ticket was 130$ USD and the refund amount they paid me was 11$. No matter how expensive your tickets is they just gonna refund you with 11$ and i don not think this is fair in any way. The other airlines like southwest at least have a travel fund policy where even if you cancel your trip before 1 hour they refund the whole amount which you can use for your next purchase. I would never refer booking through this website. Just be aware and read all their refund and cancellation policies before booking your ticket with kiwi.
I have given a 0 score if this option would have been available, as my recent booking with Kiwi.com has made my travelling back from Moldova to Edinburgh very challenging and extremely expensive. I am sure that using Kiwi.com to book just one flight to a destination might be ok, however it can be pretty challenging when having to book several flights with self transfer to get to a destination. Perhaps this also can be ok if everything runs smoothly and there are no delays or cancellations otherwise the information you get from an automated help desk that Kiwi.com provides is confusing and unhelpful.
In the end my one way trip has costed me almost £1000 and it took 24hr to complete.
It would have been helpful to have a human being helping me with all the challenges faced than a robot giving me wrong guidance.
These people have fraudulent business practices - from selling bogus Airline Tickets to customers to inhumane customer service that's located in Bangladesh. When you wonder why you don't get a refund, it's because they tie your money on a fake (their) credit card number so when you call your airline for a refund - the refund goes to them. So the best way to get your money back is to dispute the charge with your credit card company. And remember never fly again through Kiwi.com, don't be a sucker!
Have called support multiple times WITH documentation that my flight was refunded from the carrier. It has been over 12 months since I initially booked my flight. Will not even accept my calls for a dispute. I worked in customer service and understood the notion that things can take time, especially with the plethora of refunds needed. I am extremely saddened by the lack of social grace, and the sliminess Kiwi.com has exemplified. Never again.
The whole company is a scam. I claimed my money back as my flights were cancelled. They sit on your money for months, promising everything which is possible. No answer to your email, useless to call them, not even one responsible person, manager, whoever works there. AVOID this company. I hope they will be out of the travel industry completely.
Their connection guarantee isn't worth the paper it's printed on. When something goes wrong, and you're stranded at an airport because you missed a connection, they said to us "We need up to 4 days to review this, THEN will get you on the next available flight" (and that was after many hours of pushing). It's a SCAM. Don't risk it. Move on.
Kiwi really let me down. For some reason, they booked my flight as two separate tickets instead of one although sending me one reservation. I therefore didn't realize I needed a visa for India as it is not needed for transit. When I was denied boarding and I called to have the ticket issued as a single ticket, there was nothing that kiwi would do. Same inhumane script and no suggested solutions at all. They wouldn't even let me speak to a supervisor. Still, there is nothing they will do after I missed this expensive flight. Don't do it. It's not worth the risk. One small thing goes wrong and you are flushing your money down the drain. Book directly with the airline
Kiwi.com is a complete scam! They canceled my flights, forced me to pay another $400 to change those flights, and when I rejected they said I can get a $50 kiwi credit or no refund at all! They connected me to India to talk to customer reps that repeated the same scripts no matter how many solutions I offered the. I am now going through a transaction dispute process through my bank. I paid $550 in total. I wish I'd read the reviews before. I can't believe Skyscanner still directs to this site.
I booked my ticket from DXB-ATH through Kiwi more than a year ago. I reached the airport and my flight was cancelled but I havent received any notification. The customer service agent reassured me that I can book another flight and they will reimburse me. Fast forward countless emails and complaints almost weekly, they said there is nothing they can do and stopped responding to me while owing me around 1,000euros. This company is a SCAM. Do not book through them even if you are tempted by the lower prices. Unacceptable.
All flights has been cancelled because of the COVID 19 pandemic, Kiwi management promise to refund my ticket's refund since April 2020, yet up to date they are not responding or answering any call to return my ticket money. It's really annoying, frustrating and disturbing not only for me but for most of the Kiwi's clients. They promise you to give you refund back, obviously, they are just simply telly untrue promises. Kindly for everyone be advised and be aware not book your flight with them.
The worst experience I ever had with a company. My flight delayed, lost a the next one, they claimed that there was kiwi guarantee & after 4 months they are providing 20 euros refund while I have spent more than 200 for the new ticket, waiting so many hours for the plane.
Dreadful company. I booked a flight for April 2020, that was then cancelled and I am still waiting for a refund, 18 months later. I last requested an update in July and they finally responded October 30th with a generic, copied and pasted message, in which they advised there is no update. To be honest, their behaviour is nothing short of criminal. Avoid this company like the plague!
This is the worst experience we've ever had booking through a "third-party" agency. Our flight was cancelled by Spirit and money was refunded TO KIWI, not directly to our card. There were NO instructions to get our money and after not seeing the refund appear on our statement after 3 weeks I called to investigate. They claim the customer has to fill out a form to request the refund, then wait 30 days for them to "investigate" the refund claim. We have documentation from Spirit that the money was immediately refunded to Kiwi so essentially, they're holding our money hostage. If they don't return our money we are sending our credit card company after them. This is a very suspect business model and feels like an illegitimate operation.

I rarely write bad reviews, but here I need to advert you: the only purpose of that company ist to make money out of you. You pay every little thing very expensive, but you cannot get any customer service or quality out of it.
What went wrong: no refunds for cancelled flights, expensive administrative name change, the boarding card that you will need to print out yourself only arrives in the very last minute (soooo stressful when you travel with kids), not to be recommended. Bad company!
This is the worst company ever. Don't book from them, they will still your money as they did to me. Last year I booked not cheap flights through Kiwi.com. The flights have been cancelled, which obviously was not my fault. I've been waiting for the refund for 6 months and nobody answers my messages and my requests. They are scams, not real company. I regret I chose them. Book only if you wanna donate hundreds of dollars to unknown people. Uploaded the image, so you can see I'm a real person with my real nightmare experience. Btw, the refund was requested 2 months prior the flight. It was not me who cancelled the trip. They have been silent for 6 months.
Tried to change site just kept send code to email but never let you in. Then gave me time 4 days before flying out. Tried to call that day still same thing. Called customer service and said cant change now since with in 48 before booking date. Never will ever use this site again they just took my money. Booking number *******
They take your money very quickly, but then send a ton of emails with insignificant information. They won't send an actual ticket or boarding pass. We have called them numerous times as our flight leaves tomorrow. Nothing.
In addition, we have to leave the secure area and get a new ticket for our connecting flight in Spain.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
