IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE TO BOOK YOUR TRIP THAN THINK OVER AND OVER, THIS IS ABSOULUTE SCAM. YOU WILL END OF CANCELING YOUR HOLIDAY OR PAYING 3 TIMES MORE. THINK WISELY
Absolutely avoid at all costs. Flights I purchased were changed without my consent, and they refused to just simply give me a refund because I didn't purchase their "special" insurance for the flights. But let's get this this straight: You, not I, changed the original flights. I lost about a thousand dollars. Absolutely avoid at all costs. Has caused major headaches and stress. Will tell anyone and everyone to avoid. You can steal my thousand dollars, but you'll lose all future business with people, as I have connections with tons who travel.
DO NOT PURCHASE from this site. They are scammers. I booked a roundtrip flight last summer (June 2021) and my flight was cancelled. Kiwi gave me the option of having their representatives get a refund on my behalf, so I opted out for that. 13 months (July 2022) later I get an email that Kiwi "tried" to contact the airline and no refund was provided and since they "don't expect any further development, we have to close your refund request." So in the end of July 2022, I reach out to the U. S Department of Transportation and file a complaint on Kiwi.com and the airline. I get a response from the airline stating that they DO NOT have record of Kiwi having reached out to them until August 2022, and they indicate that they just refunded Kiwi for the flight. I am still waiting for my refund from Kiwi.
Horrible customer service. Because of their mistake I had to pay for extra baggage fee which I've never paid for 22 years with any other travel agency and they refused to refund me.
Simply the will take your money step by step They confirm the ticket after taking your money in 48 hours and it might be not confirmed.
Let me share this ongoing, terrible experience with Kiwi, a company in which you don't want to spent not even 1 dollar for sure:
1. I've made a reservation (I thought I did, at least) via Kiwi, in a total of 2.363,69€
2. Day before the flight, received an email from Kiwi saying that it was impossible to do the check in online. Therefore, I should do so in the airport
3. Arrived at the airport and the airline company was not able to find any detail about my reservation: employees from the airline tried everything (kiwi reservation number, names), but it was useless – I didn't have a set in that airplane
4. Contacted Kiwi customer service right away. After explaining the issue, waited 20 minutes for a new call to try to solve the situation
5. Kiwi customer support talked with someone from the airline company. In the end, the employee from the airline company told me that the ticket reservation had been suspended
6. From Kiwi, until this day, I'm still waiting for a justification on what happened
7. Worse than waiting for the justification, is waiting for the refund (that I obviously have the right to receive): I've explained the issue in point number 4; in multiple interactions in Kiwi chat; via email with Kiwi claims' team and THEY NEVER KNOW what's the issue (tremendous LACK OF COORDINATION), systematically asking me for e.g. proof of check in fees (EXPLAINED SO MANY TIMES I WAS NOT ABLE TO CHECK IN)
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I booked a special holiday in August 2020, which got caught up in the pandemic. I got all my money back from, Qatar Airlines and a credit with air Asia. Luckily I booked the various accommodation via Booking.com with the free cancellation option.
However I booked part of the journey with Kiwi.com. This was with Air Asia and Citilink. The flight times changed which meant that if we had been there we could not make the connection. I paid £18 to fast track the admin process. Now its 24 months since we were supposed to have been travelling and I have received nothing. They state they have had a refund from Air Asia but can't give it to me until they get a refund from Citilink. No update, can't speak with anyone. No refund on the fast track payment. They state they are still processing the refund. Absolutely diabolical service
After choosing the cheapest flights, the site prompts you to upgrade various options such as baggage, flexible tickets and insurance. After avoiding all these I was hit with a 'price adjustment' during the booking process just before entering my card details.
I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with the company, I bought a trip from Uruguay to Australia, which it's a quite expensive ticket, and got my flights modified twice by AeroMexico. Kiwi support assured me that the only way to keep my flight was by keeping the current booked flight, adding more money to buy again the connection that failed. I did this once, and in the second time opted for a different solution as the company already failed me twice. I ended up adding 580 euros just to be sure I wont miss my connections with another company. Today I called Aeromexico myself to discuss the change and any form of refund, just to end up discovering, that Aeromexico did find a way for me to keep my flight and date, that was never communicated to me by Kiwi, as the only motive behind this lack of communication I can think of is making me pay a further expensier ticket just as a scam. I do expect a partial refund or monetary compensation, I do not want to lose more time nor energy in this issue, but rest assured I will if I do not have a valid response from the company, as this clearly is a scam scheme.
Refused to refund me after THEY canceled my FLIGHT! They are SCAMMERS! It took them 4 months get back to me, just to tell me there is nothing they can do.
I was refused boarding due to not having the correct visa for a transit. BA were kind enough to refund 1500£ but it was paid to Kiwi.com who then refused to pay it to me. They are thieves.
Never purchased any tickets from #kiwi.com! Which is associated with #bookingcom and #Expedia.
I bought a ticket for August 11th from Toronto to Vancouver. I had very important exam in Vancouver. In my ticket the flight time was 6:20 pm but when I got the pearson Airport no one was there. I found the flight time was 10:30 pm. I called #Kiwi.com, not only they were not sorry because of providing wrong information but also after 10 minutes which hold me on the line to check the condition, lied to me that was Airport fault which had changed the flight time, while when I got to the Airport for the second time, they told me that the flight y9 122 #lynxair was always 10:30 and nothing was changed!
They waste my precious time before exam, they made lots of stress for me and lied to me!
I reached Vancouver at 1am instead of 9pm and I couldn't sleep well.
Again on the way back my ticket for flight Y9 121 #Lynxair was 8am in my ticket but the correct time was 2pm!
They were not sorry ar all, they talked to me in a bad way and lied to me.
When I asked the #Lynxair crew at the airport they told me #kiwicom is always like this.
The operator which talk to me introduced himself as Francis.
Short version: Kiwi sold me a ticket from Los Angeles to Denpasar, Indonesia, with a stop and transfer plane in Tokyo, requiring a Visa to enter Japan to transfer planes – this is insane, but it gets worse. They sold it four days before my departure, but the Visa to Enter Japan with covid19 restrictions takes five days! There is no way to contact Kiwi; my bank is disputing with them, but this is also a dead end.
We booked a connection with transit in Delhi, transfer time 2:20.
Only AFTER booking, 2 problems were revealed on the ticket (translated by me):
1. „Check your Visa rules. You are leaving the visa-free transit area
and enter India..."
In fact, visa for India were necessary. No clear hint or help before booking.
At the airport, double passport control with the beaurocratic Indians was very time-consuming. Had we not been the second in the immigration queue, connection flight would have been missed.
By order of airport personnel, we had to leave part of our baggage behind and hurry to check-in which was closed already but they were grateful...
We then had to push into security and passport queues and haste to the gate to enter boarding as almost last people.
2. „Connection time is sufficient for the transfer."
– A bold lie, see above.

They issued me a ticket clearly mentioning two 20 KG (81X119X119) checked bag and two onboard personal item 10KG (20X25X40) still at the gate airline charged me more than GBP90 for two less than 10 KG personal item. Airline refused to issue me any receipt. Though payment was done using my credit card. I will never book ticket through KIWI and will never fly with Ryan air in future. I will file a law suit in the appropriate court of law against KIWI and Ryan air for cheating me. Pankaj Bansal *******993
I booked a return trip London to Berlin, but they claimed my flight was cancelled by the carrier but they lied the carrier still has the flight but they wanted me to take an £11 refund to change the flights & when i done that they removed my return flight. Which went up to £250... avoid please they ruined my weekend away im sure they will ruin yours too.
Kiwi.com exploits the loop holes in the law and evade regulators and rip the travelers that are unaware of the companies practices and purchase the airline tickets on their portal. Made bookings of over $1000 and upon cancellation I was offered NO refund in cash or airline credit. They say they made a policy for themselves for their own benefit that they offer only 13 euro as kiwi portal credit (which is useless because 13 euro for over $1000 booking is a joke and no one will purchase ticket on their portal the second time). Govt. Regulators please take notice and protect the customers from this organized scam of Kiwi.com
Terrible booking services. They didn't want to give me a refund nor help me change my return flight. I booked my flight within 24 hours of my call to customer service. Stay away.
I'm waiting for 2 years for a refund - they paid Kiwi.com Credit which I told them I do not want. They are refusing to pay and blaming the airlines for not refunding. I will never book again with them as they are terrible!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
Answer: I am sorry you are going through this, I checked but can't seem to find a record of it either
Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.
Answer: Because people don't know and they offer cheap flights.
Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.
Answer: Booking service... and a bad one on the market. Outrageous and not responsable to their customers
Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
