Our first flight got cancelled soo the overall itinerary was invalid. We reached airport then got to know that our flight is cancelled. We called and told operator and he didn't even knew about it. Now they are saying we will get partial refund on which kiwi guarantee is in upto six months. What kind of joke this is they are going to take full refund from airlines and give me back peanuts after six months. Never use this site
Kiwi booked a flight it was impossible for me to get on, transit via a country that requires a yellow fever vaccine, that due to their error required me to exit and re enter despite only being in transit. They offered me no help at the airport and are currently refunding me $0.50. Appalling service. I fly 15+ times a year and will never use them again
Horrible. They flight was delayed for ages, which affected my next trip. I asked the app for help, they just said its the flight company fault and no refund will be considered. They offered me to buy a very expensive ticket so i can reach my destination. They only care to take your money. Bad customer service. Fraud
The problem started when apparently one flight out of our itinerary got cancelled, affecting some other transfers for us. You can't request a refund until the whole trip is completed. I have been waiting for 7 months and still no sign of the refund. Customer service is dismissive, saying they are waiting from the airline (this is nonsense) and now say that they can't provide the refund to a new bank account I need to open after changing the credit card I paid with.
I didn't pay attention to the bad reviews and I got burned! Italy was shut down, museums in Florence were all closed, USA advisory was like Level 3 and Kiwi.com would only change by charging me a new flight. No waivers or anything, I would just lose what I originally paid. They are cheap, and so you get what you pay for, cheap service!
Categorically the worst website/travel company I have ever used.
Firstly the system whereby you use a temporary email address is a terrible method - it needs to be much clearer, and also much more simple - I am fairly clued up with computers etc. so imagine someone that isn't? How do you expect them to work this system out?
Not only that but I had to wait to speak to someone for 1 hour and 30 minutes, to basically be told I need to use your terrible method to check in on a Ryanair flight.
How has this system not been improved? Does it not cause more problems by being so inefficient?
Overall it has taken me 4 hours to attempt to check in, and that is an enormous waste of time and energy, all because you clearly do not have good enough communication with your flight providers + a totally flawed process.
It is safe to say I will never use your website, and I will make sure anyone I know will not, and I will leave this review on every single forum that I can.

I purchased baggage through Kiwi along with my airfare. The airline did not honor the service purchased from Kiwi and charged me for baggage anyway. Kiwi will not acknowledge nor address the issue. Kiwi has ignored the facts in front of them, including invoices, receipts, and a transcript from their own customer service agent guaranteeing ahead of time that additional baggage fees would not be an issue. Ultimately, Kiwi has refused to refund the baggage fees. BUYER BEWARE!
They are just brazen. They are laughing in our face. When I once again wrote to ask for my money back and I indicated that I do not want to hear again that my case has been directed to the financial department, here's what answer I got. Ticketing department this time. I've been waiting 9 months already!
Kiwi.com exploits the loop holes in the law and evade regulators and rip the travelers that are unaware of the companies practices and purchase the airline tickets on their portal. Made bookings of over $1000 and upon cancellation I was offered NO refund in cash or airline credit. They say they made a policy for themselves for their own benefit that they offer only 13 euro as kiwi portal credit (which is useless because 13 euro for over $1000 booking is a joke and no one will purchase ticket on their portal the second time). Govt. Regulators please take notice and protect the customers from this organized scam of Kiwi.com
I can vouch that Kiwi.com is terrible after the first hand ecperience. Before I read some bad review of kiwi.com, but decided it give it a try. That's when it showed their true color. It is hard to believe they are legit. Most likely scam. Avoid kiwi.com as much as you want little stress.
I bought a ticket for $250, and 3 hours later went to the airport for the flight. There it appeared my flight was for June 1 instead of May 1 (basically a month out). I quickly bought another one for May 1st, and asked kiwi.com to cancel the other one. Not sure if it was a glitch on their side or it was mistake in my side, but to make long story short: they offered $10 credit for a $250 ticket. Total scam artists.
My experience was horrible - I couldn't order a bag (flying Ryanair) directly because Ryanair asks for an email to give me access to booking, and Kiwi won't release it. At the same time, they stopped offering bags 36 hours prior to the flight. Which meant I had to pay twice as much for buying the bags at the airport. I'll never use them again, I swear!

I'v seen too many people complaining about not getting refund, I was refused a refund within an hour of booking and ended up paying the whole amount for my ticket, was on the call with the customer service and they are like robot read from the script " we can not issue a refund".
Do not use Kiwi.com. I booked flights and paid for them. All should have been fine, but had no confirmation from Kiwi, so contacted them a couple of weeks later, only to be told that the flights were now £400 more! Holiday completely ruined as I had to find new flights, could not get my son out with us as there were no flights for him, I'd booked hotel and car hire by this time. Absolute disaster. DO NOT USE KIWI.COM!
My Son's Luggage was lost in the airport of the transit country because this Kiwi website did not mention in the booking that tickets are separate and not a connected flight, besides, they are not helpful at all I tried to contact them they told me we have nothing to do.
Run away from this trash website, they booked fake tickets our cost were more with 1000 $ to bring my son home as he booked flights from this trash website and many international calls.
I booked a flight on kiwi that stated in few minutes ur ticket will be issued (they charged my card) and 4 hrs later in the middle of the night they sent me a statement:
If i dont pay 600 more dollars for this flight then they have to cancel my booking... i slept thinking i have a booed flight woke up with no flight at all... i had to buy a twice expensive flight... customer service hardly replied to my email... honestly never again
We used Kiwi.com to book flights from Switzerland to Greece in 2021 based on good price. Unfortunately we landed in Athens only to learn the onward flight had been cancelled several weeks ago. When we contacted Kiwi.com they acknowledged their mistake in failing to notify us and told us they would reimburse us for extra hotel, meals, transport and new flights we had to purchase directly on a different airline. It took 14 months and several follows to get a response after I submitted all the receipts. In the end we only got a meagre 47 Swiss francs versus the 650 Swiss francs extra it cost us for their mistake. Unbelievable! I'd fight this more but I am tired and fed-up dealing with such a terrible company. I only encourage others NOT TO USE KIWI regardless of their pricing as they do not honour refund process.

In fact, the company is a backyard alley operation in Czech Republic, and with the very worst of the customs of a struggling eastern European country. Think Putin. Ripped me bad for flights - four trips written off for me and my employee. Call customer service and you'll get the highest level of BS that you have ever received in any service environment. AVOID at all costs. I complained to the airlines that they would NOT want to be associated with such a twisted cheating lying and stealing organization. You have been warned!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
