As I was tracking my order, at one point the shipping label had been reported missing. We'll I thought, that would not well! But Fed Ex contacted J&P and the problem was resolved immediately! I received my package 4 days from the time the order was placed. Thanks J&P and FedEx.
On Friday, August 1st I ordered a Drag Specialties battery for my 2022 Road King Special. It was shipped very promptly and a tracking number was provided. I checked the tracking through the weekend but on Sunday when the package reached Phoenix AZ. The tracking showed "Exception. Package damaged. Undeliverable". On Tuesday J&P shipped me another battery, but this time again, when the package got as far as Phoenix, it showed, "Exception. Barcode unreadable. Barcode replaced" Then nothing for 2 days. The last estimated delivery date in the tracking said Friday, but finally on Saturday the package arrived. I wish there was a way to upload a picture of what was sitting on my front porch, but the package literally looked like it had tumbled down the side of mount St. Helens during the eruption. Because of the manufacturer's packaging, the battery APPEARS to be undamaged. I haven't tried to charge it yet so I don't know if its ok.

The bolts suppled for installing the rear highway bars to the frame were woefully unsized and lacking washers for retention to the frame. The package also lack any effort for instructions, unlike some packages providing a QR code for a paperless instruction, no such thing was part of this assembly. I do have a degree in engineering, and experience with these parts in past installations so to be short again on parts and the bolts provided being inadequate was surprising.
I have not installed them yet but probably will sometime this summer.

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
