I purchased a new motorcycle tire to replace the first tire ordered that was defective (tire wouldn't balance correctly). J&P responded with information about how to return the product, requiring that I buy a new tire before the defective tire was returned (understandable). Am in the process of getting the defective product returned. New tire was received, installed, balanced and in service. Unfortunate that a new Michelin tire could not be balanced, but the new one passed.

Ordered part just as done for many years past but this time received a bill / charge from "Cycle gear. Com". When I looked on my account with them no purchase existed. I had gone by the local Cycle Gear shop and made inquiry about the charge and they had no record of transaction and stated 'maybe hack/fraud. I then filed a query with Pay Pal and was told it was legitimate purchase. After doing some research and finding the Logo "Revzilla" on document sent me by Pay Pal and decided to follow the money. In doing so I finally found a charge I made to "J&P" for the amount and was not entered into that J&P account under my name until sent. I now realize all three entities are owned by the same corp. and hope future any transactions have the receipt / purchase listed with the company with which they were made. Do not know how many other company's are owned by this corporation but don't wish to play hide and seek with billing in future. S.D. Harvey

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
