I will never order from Joyfolie EVER AGAIN! I ordered three dresses. Although they did look nice, two out of three dresses fit very weird in the bust area... The third one it's very pretty but it was damaged (Even though it was damaged I was going to take it somewhere to be fixed) Got in touch with someone from Joyfolie as to how to go about sending two out of the three dresses back... Let me tell you... They make it almost impossible! (I think they make it impossible so the people just keep their product and not send it back!) Each item has to be placed in each individual plastic package in which they came in, and they have to be placed in the plastic bag in which Joyfolie sent them to you in (hopefully When you opened your merchandise you didn't rip the plastic bag that they mailed your merchandise in) (even though those plastic bags are not really made to be used again) OK. If all that is not a problem (luckily I saved everything that my things were Sent in) Well... If any of your merchandise was on sale they will only give you credit and you have to pay for your own shipping back! Needless to say it's not even worth it to send it back, and I don't want any of their credit because I won't be purchasing anything from them EVER AGAIN!
I don't normally wear the same brand together, but I could not resist the Yvette Black Floral Skirt with the Sarai gladiators. Super cute combo with a cropped or knotted tee!
My daughter needed a dress for her School dance. She decided on the Perla, but they only had it in a medium and she is a size small, so we thought we would see if it fit. When I went to check out there was a banner that reads, "30% off with code SAVE30 *excludes select products*". When I put the $118 dress in the cart and clicked the checkout button, it took me to the next screen where it asks you to enter 'gift card or discount code' and press the 'Apply" button. On this page there is also a banner that reads, "USE CODE SAVE30 FOR 30% OFF *SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY". If you scroll down to the bottom of the page there is no additional information or "* some exclusions" listed. So I checked out using code SAVE30 and the dress was $82.60 and then I was charged $7.99 for shipping. Again, on this page the banner reading, "USE CODE SAVE30 FOR 30% OFF *SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY" is listed with no additional information or "Exclusions".
Fast forward to receiving the dress. We had hoped a simple alteration would make the dress the perfect fit for our daughter, but the Medium was just too large for her size Small body and the alterations would be too costly. Finally, my wife went to their website to initiate a return and upon putting in the information, she was informed that "Items discounted with a coupon or promotional code are eligible for size exchange or store credit", meaning no refunds. This brings up concern, they don't have my daughters size dress and there was nothing that stated that if I used the SAVE30 code that I would be ineligible for a refund. We tried to find a customer service number or email and they do not offer that to the public that we were able to find. I also tried to search their website and google using the term SAVE30 to see if I could find any terms and none were found.
I really think it is sneaky that they would offer a discount code that prevents anyone from returning any item for anything other than an exchange or store credit. That seems like a very dishonest and calculated attempt to gain and retain business and make their complete website not eligible for refunds.
It is our hope they do the right thing and refund us for the dress. If they do not, we will not be purchasing from them again.

I placed two different orders with Joyfolie and both were disappointing. Their return / exchange policy is awful, which might be ok if their sizing had any basis in reality. It does not. First, I ordered two sweaters for myself. I ordered my usual size small for the Ruby Top in Mauve. The sleeves were outrageously huge (and do not look that way on the petite model). The company asked me to submit a review and when I did, customer services said they wouldn't publish it because they wanted to "make it right" - they suggested I go to an XS. I don't need an XS, I needed the sleeves to be about 4 sizes smaller. They only offered me an exchange and they still refuse to publish my review. If you go on the website, you'll see there isn't a single review for that sweater. Likely because they likely tucked or hemmed the sleeves back to make it look different. Second, I ordered 2 dresses for my little ones. I sized down because they are petite for their age. After receiving the dresses, I contacted customer service because the dresses were outrageously huge. My kids would have needed to size down 2 and 3 sizes (from girl sizes to toddler to make them fit). I indicated that the dresses wouldn't fit girls 3-4 years older. The solution given was for me to pay expedited shipping for smaller sizes, then pay to ship the larger dresses back on my own dime, and to send them photos with a tape measure to "prove" the dresses are cut too large. I asked for the matter to be escalated to management. I have heard nothing back as of yet. Their stuff looks cute, but be careful. I will not be purchasing from this company ever again.

In our attempts to resolve one sizing experience the additional girl's dresses were brought to our attention. We use our review process to ensure our customers are satisfied with their items and if they are not, this gives us a chance to further review the exact issue our customers are having. We definitely want to take a moment to determine if this is a one-off defect or size discrepancy and take care of the customer in a unique way. I loved my first sample box I got from them- everything was esquiset and well made, beautiful fabric. So a few months later decided to try another box hoping for more dresses and received 1 shirt that was waaay to big (3 sizes to big)a skimpy shirt that has to have something worn under it (cute) but impractical - who knows maybe it was a cover up for a bathing suit ( too hard to tell). A dress made of the cheapest of the cheap material, pajamas which was literally the only thing in their that looked decent but where in the world is my daughter going to wear that too but home. And then the most disappointing which is what made me write this review is the last minute dress they literally crumbled up into a ball and threw into the box (all other items were folded neatly and wrapped in plastic)- ok no big deal right, so it wasn't packaged and just waded up, I can live with that and make it work, no biggie. It states that clothes can be previously worn blah blah blah or have small imperfections. Small? Can we say understatement of the year. At first I noticed the elastic in the back was exposed- ok, I can probably patch it up but as I followed the exposure up to the sleeve I saw that This dress was COMPLETELY ripped! The only thing holding it together was the lining of the zipper. The material was in shreds and definitely not fixable. What a waste! Completely misleading that stuff can be slightly used or have imperfections, this dress looked like it literally was taken out of the trash and thrown into the box last minute- So incredibly disappointed. Not to mention the box before one of the other dresses received the zipper would not budge due to the placement of where it was on the seam. I definitely will not be purchasing another sample box! It might as well have said "Hey look what you could have had"

This company is a complete sham. I received items I ordered in a timely manner. When I opened the packaging I noticed that there was something off with the sizing of the sandals I ordered for my daughter. I ordered a size 6Y, just like all of her other shoes. She proceeded to try them on. They were literally like clown shoes on her. I emailed customer service for instructions on how to return the sandals and another item we ordered that was also enormous. After MULTIPLE email exchanges where I had to not only prove that the sandals were too big by providing photos, but I also had to show them a side by side of the sandals with a ruler. I even sent a picture of my size 7 foot next to the same pair of sandals. They were enormous on me, too! No where on their page did it state that their sizing is different than average sizing. To me, a size 6Y is a size 6Y, like all of my daughter's other shoes... not a full THREE inches longer! I finally was given an address to send them back to. A week after sending them back I get an email saying that they are issuing me a STORE CREDIT because I used a PROMO CODE. Um, what? I sent back the items in perfect, unworn condition almost immediately and you are going to now force me to purchase more from your store because I used a PROMO CODE?!? A measly, 10% off nullifies my right as a consumer to send back item that do not live up to what they should be. I have never dealt with a company that would EVER not issue a refund because you use a 10% coupon. I could understand if I sent back damaged items, clearance items or if I sent them back outside of the return window... but because a used a PROMO code?!? I wish I had seen this site prior to buying from this sham of a company. Save yourself... don't buy from here!
The hook: They intentionally inflate original prices and offer site wide sales to negate their obligation to issue refunds for items purchased. It is all about profit and moving inventory instead of customer satisfaction. Repeat or satisfied customers is not their business objective, only volume derived from unknowing first time purchasers. No risk on their part, all on the consumer. Each time I asked about this deceptive marketing strategy, they blatantly avoided a response by referring to their return policy they pointed out is located on their website 24/7 for all to see if looked for. (I see they responded similarly in reviews here when others called them out on this. They truly think their flowery BS responses come off as genuine and sincere! HA!) As you can see by the many reviews, most customers simply give up and accept the financial loss, as it is not worth the additional hassle and further expense. They proudly operate with no integrity, as there is always another first time "buyers fool" (such as myself) who fails to search for honest reviews prior to purchase, l truly hope this review saves many their hard earned dollars and extreme disappointment. There are too many ethical companies to purchase from that earn and deserve the business.
In my case, I had a large order which included 4 items all in the same size. Not ONE fit me, either they were too small or too large. The sizing can not be trusted. When I emailed the company, they replied …As a "courtesy" they reviewed my order. What? Isn't that your job? As another "courtesy" they sent me a return label, (which they pointed out they never do-gave a courtesy star for that)) so I may return the items (for them to sell and profit from again. Pretty good gig, wouldn't you say?) I am stuck with a large store credit I will probably never use because of the vicious cycle of additional shipping expense and zero confidence anything will fit. They believe offering a sales consultant to help me with "my sizing" to find something I could settle with to use up my credit is generous! I find it insulting! If they really were interested in operating as an ethical company, they would have amended and adopted business practices to reflect this, given the incredible number of negative experiences reported regarding their return and refund policies.

I used to be a tried-true Joyfolie customer. The first few times I ordered I loved everything we received. Clothing fit was good, quality was beautiful, shoes - okay. While they did have shipping issues I could deal. As of last year they promised revised servers, increased to handle the volume, ample product on hand to ensure no delayed or backordered issues, secure browsing/ ordering... upon trying to order from them for Christmas items when their "Black Friday" sale started you could not access the website. Items sell out before you can even get on to search. You can't keep things in your cart and expect to check out with them. You can't contact anyone because they have no customer service phone number. (This should be a red flag that they can't handle the volume and don't care about the customer enough to be willing to help with issues). The only contact you have is through email or Instagram... and if you contact them through Instagram be prepared to be blocked from their account as I was. Emails are not responded to until W-E-E-K-S later. WEEKS. PLURAL.
We received everything we ordered but one pair of the shoes we ordered, the strap broke before my daughter could even leave the house (within 30 minutes of wearing). It took me having to involve our lawyer - literally - for them to finally reply. They refunded the money but never actually contacted me to
Provide an apology or offer a replacement. The second pair broke within a couple of weeks to the point of non-repair so we had two pairs of shoes retailing for over $100 worthless within less than a month of wear. One of the dresses I paid almost full price for had little flowers attached the the sheer fabric overlay and one by one they kept falling off. My daughter would come to me with flower in hand and I would say "Another one?" Completely irresponsible company with a less than adequate quality of clothes for the price they have them listed at. Shipping is ridiculously slow and customer service is nonexistent. We have removed ourselves as customers obviously and would rather shop from companies who offer better quality product that hold up for at least one season.
Seems in an effort to grow they've lost a lot of what made Joyfolie so great. They now offer a lot of Women's products and even the two dresses I ordered both had quality control issues that they had to send replacements for. It's wasnt anything better than something I would find at Lizard Thicket. And actually Lizard Thickets clothes have fit and worn better than these at a much lower price point.
I now despise Joyfolie when I once praised them and looked forward to Christmases filled with Joyfolie gifts.
