I HAVE NEVER HAD TO PAY POSTAGE BECAUSE EVERYTHING i HAVE ORDERED WAS POSTAGE FREE.
MY PROBLEM WAS I PURCHASED A BICYCLE, PUT IT TOGETHER, WAS TOO TALL FOR ME, THEY (JOSH AND MAIN) TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A BICYCLE SHOP WHICH I DID, THEY DID WHAT THEY COULD BE WAS STILL TO HIGH AND I FELL OFF LANDING ON MY HEAD ON ASPHALT. I CALLED AND WAS TOLD SHE WAS VERY SORRY I HURT MYSELF BUT SINCE IT HAD BEEN PUT TOGETHER I COULD NOT RETURN IT. MY COMPLAINT AND WHY I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN IS THAT I WAS NEVER TOLD IF I PUT IT TOGETHER I COULD NOT RETURN IT AND STATED SO TO THE ''SWEET LITTLE GIRL" TO WHOM I SPOKE. THEREFORE, I HAVE A BICYCLE I CANNOT RIDE AND A COMPANY WHO NEVER SAID IN ONE AREA OF THE ADD OR PAPERWORK I RECEIVED UPON DELIVERY THAT I COULD NOT RETURN IT IF I OPENED THE BOX AND PUT IT TOGETHER. POOR BUSINESS PRCTICES TO ME.
I ordered something in the wrong size, right after called to change the size. Told they would cancel that order and I could reorder - which I did. Only to find out they shipped the first order (and charged me). I called and asked to cancel the replacement order, saying I could make do with the 2nd order. They agreed. Only to find out the 2nd order was also shipped after it was to be cancelled too! And yes, I was charged for both order and told there was a restocking fee to cancel the orders. I would not have placed ordered the 2nd order except for being told my items would not ship for 4 days so the cancellation was possible.
While the staff were polite, there is an obvious service malfunction which will cost me time and money. I will never shop with them again.

I Ordered 2 sofa's on 2 different occasions. Both of them were delivered damaged when I finally got them several weeks later. I also ordered a headboard that was supposed to be gold in color. Instead, I got a grey one. Even after I sent these photos to Julene T. In customer service to prove that the headboard is not gold, she still refused to take back the headboard and refund my money even after I told her that I was going to use the refund to purchase a bed this time instead of a bed frame from their company which would have been more expensive. Now I have a headboard that I paid approx $250.00 for and have no use for it. It took them almost 4 months to return my money for some other items that I returned to them. Most of photos of their items for sale are deceiving. They look high end online but once you get them they can look completely different. Don't be fooled.
I have had wonderful service from Josh and Main but I've never purchased anything as big and expensive as a sofa. JM has honored its promise on store credit for me in every way and tries very hard to please the customer. All being said, I think you would be wise to keep looking for ways to find somewhere you can test the sofa's comfort. Also talk to JM customer service who I'm sure has encountered this problem before.

I've only ordered from them twice. And both orders were not the quality I was expecting, a little lower quality. The website makes things look great. Like another reviewer, I appreciate the fact that the website introduces me to some new products; however, when I search elsewhere for that same product, Joss and Main charges more and plus charges for shipping, even for the small items. So it has been awhile since I've ordered from Joss and Main, although I search their website daily. I would advise to search and cost compare Joss and Main's prices to other sites and companies. I also have their app on my phone. I wished that they had a search feature on the app; that would make searching and browsing easier.

Great construction and design, easy to assemble by adding legs with included nuts although the small wrench included was too small, I had to use pliers. It's much smaller than I expected, make sure you check dimensions of what you're buying! I can still use it, it shipped quickly, delivered by FedEx.
I love all the unique choices and fabulous prices. I've been browsing the store for months and finally made my first purchase last week. I expect my new chandelier to arrive today. There is so much to choose from, and the selections are refreshed continuously. I imagine I'll do all my online gift shopping here from now on.
Took quite a while to go through all items, but it felt like traveling through different parts of the world. Some sales better than others, but all beautiful. The place I live was already furnished, so my creativity is limited, but if I could redo my place, I would do most of it from your site.

Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.

I have been mostly happy with my items because I have reasonable expectations regarding quality. I don't expect to get something for nothing. Personally, I wouldn't buy a couch unless I could sit in it first but that's just me. Joss and Main is good with damage claims and they are responsive but you need to be careful about what you buy.
