New year's card

The card I ended up using was brilliant. Still made me smile after a 1/2 dozen views. The reason I didn't give 5 stars... I wish there were 2 more options. First I think a one time card for $5 would make you a fortune! Again and again I would like to send a one time card and don't want to spend the $18. I think you would get a lot more impulse buyers. And second... I bought the slaughter of a christmas tree one year and Scrooge one year... I really like a bit of a story line, a pay off, a surprise in the card... most of the cards are just dancing... no story. I think the entertainment/enjoyment factor would go way up. A great product... thanx Daniel

Easy and Stress-free

I forgot I signed up for a membership and I contacted their customer service and they handled the resolution quickly and they provided a refund. It was so easy and stress-free that I will definitely be recommending JibJab to friends and family.

Terrible, slow and not worth the effort!

I did not find the product easy to use. It was very slow to pull anything up, the video offered on Facebook could not be found once purchasing the app. I spent 40 minutes putting together a video and the people I texted it to couldn't open it and I tried to post it on Facebook but it would not post I guess because I would not agree for the app to contact my friends contacts list as it requested. Newsflash - if I pay $ for your app you are not entitled to demand my contacts! I hate this App! I want a refund but I'm betting that will take more work than the 40 min it too to try to make a video!

JibJab tech help is great!

I am new to using JibJab and, mostly likely because I am "an old fart," I ran into a number of problems the first few times I attempted to use it. Each time I called Customer Service my problems were solved quickly and efficiently and each tech was extremely polite and patient! I am a happy customer!

Great content - Terrible content policy

Love the whole JibJab concept and content library. Very easy to use.

Highly disappointed that despite PAYING to OWN the downloaded video:
- there is no way to remove their JibJab logo from the video I purchased for download.
- there is no way to remove their "JibJab!" intro clip.
- you are not allowed to modify the video in any way (forget adding your own text, or your business' logo, or a Call-To-Action line, or any form of marketing message.)

Seems like they're basically aiming at fun consumer eCards and not at all catering to businesses or marketers.

The app is difficult to manage. Not like the first material I downloaded. Don't like having to have either a selfie or other. Some of the material is vulgar, distasteful. Most options are only individual s. I prefer group displays which I don't know how to get on the app.

Super!

I was looking for a fun "superhero" themed ecard to use for work. During Employee Appreciate Day, I want to send it to send it off to several colleagues as a way to say thank you for all of their support throughout the year. I like the card so much, I joined.

Same old, same old

Having been a member in prior years, I was hopeful you had expanded the selections available.
I was disappointed that many of the Christmas selections where the same, and the hanukkah selection was just awful. I found the 4 or 5 hanukkah video just unacceptable to send to my friends.

The idea is good but the result was not

The first time I made a video with JibJab somebody else's face was on it. Awkward to say the least. I retried to do it and it came out fine.
I was charge $18 on my credit card. I am still trying to figure out why.
Definitely not worth it.

Website isn't extremely user friendly

I understand that everything in life isn't free and that if they do offer something free, they aren't going to make it super easy to find. I didn't like that it was extremely hard to find a jibjab card that you didn't have to pay for. When I finally decided to pay for one they charge you the whole year up front. I would have been more willing to pay the yearly fee had there been a free trial period first.

My very first try at a JibJab video.

I had expected the process to be difficult, but it wasn't at all. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I turned out a "masterpiece" that had all my friends laughing and wanting to know how to make one themselves. Fun, fun, fun! I will make lots more in the future.

I just tried to upload my family photos to the cards four times and each time it gives me a card with their members. $18 dollars and promised me 1500 cards and then asked for $1.99 to see my card when I'm not even sure it will have my personal pictures. SCAM! I'm going back to Elfyourself.

Great customer support

I haven't had time to use JibJab so I requested my auto-pay annual subscription be cancelled as I hadn't used the service. It was done immediately and the customer sevice rep was efficient and friendly. I love the fun jib jabs and I won't hesitate to support such a great company in the future if I can.

Lots of great themes to work with, so you can express yourself.
Easy to send, track and share.

Refund and subscription

I was anticipating difficulties when cancelling my subscription and asking for a refund. But in fact I had NO difficulties with cancelling my subscription and Mt refund went back I to my PayPal account within hours. Well done jibjab media

I have had a JibJab account for several years. My account had auto-renewed and I felt it was really time for me to close this account. I was prepared for this process to be a hassle ~ a battle via emails or phone calls ~ to get it closed and my annual fee returned. Instead... I checked out My Account on the website and simply requested to cancel my account. A few hours later I got an email indicating the account was closed and the refund should arrive back to my card in 3-5 days! That was a seemless experience! Thank you!

Fast answer

My credit card was automatically charged the yearly fee, which I never authorized and glad I caught. I wrote to JibJab and the next day I received a response and was given credit back and apologies were said. Thanks JibJab!

Always My Go To

JibJab is so much fun. The friends and family that I send ecards to enjoy them so much. I think that when someine receives an ecard that has been personalized by using their own faces as part of the ecard, it shows that you have taken a little time to honor their special day or holiday.

Good stuff, JibJab! Some adventure and sci fi scenarios would be fun, too.

Quick resolution to a payment snafu

For some reason my credit card payment wasn't properly credited to my account. I called customer service, explained my problem, and in less than five minutes my problem was solved in a friendly and quick manner. Excellent service!

Not happy

The personalized video which was supposed to have my face, didn't resemble my face at all. I have no idea where the face came from that was on the video but it sure wasn't mine, and it sure wasn't anything close to the template they have you create. Don't think I'll be using this again.
