I got the same pair of pants in both XL regular and XL Long. Already reviewed here the XL Long as ridiculously far too big. Two weeks later came the XL regular and this one has a bulge in the thigh that no normal human being has ever had. Apparently if you are an XL, any rules about the female body go out the window--any old shape will do. To be fair, NYDJ jeans also have too-big thighs, but not bulging ones like J. Crew.
I use a prepaid to order x-mas and didn't realize that jcrew charges once(which goes into pending), and then charges you again for the same order when it ships. Then you will get ur original charge back in a week after the ship it. So have the $ to pay for it twice in your account or you will not get it. What a BAD policy. Christmas ruined!
Jcrew makes it virtually impossible to return. There's only one Jcrew store left in Colorado, can't return merchandise from a regular Jcrew store to an outlet and they charge you 7.50 to return by mail using their prepaid slip. Horrible company, quality has declined and they aren't what they used to be. Not impressed. Seems like they're on their way out.
This has happened 2X to me now. I don't know why I ever shop here! When I go to order they tell you that pick up at the store is on a certain date. The items are never there on that date. When I try to cancel, they tell me that I can't.
Now I have to jump through more hoops to return the items once they dribble in on separate shipments and dates. It is such a pain!. They take your $$ in a millisecond and but it takes extreme efforts to get it back. Terrible.
I love JCrew. Amazing price for an amazing products. Items was delivered on time and what I saw on the website was what I got when my items arrived it's really good. I've always enjoyed online shopping at JCrew and I recommend this company. After visiting several websites finally I found many beautiful clothes on this website.
Every time I receive the J Crew catalog, the items that I want to buy are always already sold out. How can that be? You assume that you are receiving the catalog at the same time as everyone else, are all the other people much faster at going online and purchasing these items? J Crew needs to do a better job at making sure the stuff they put in their catalogs are available to the customers at least the same week that the customer receives their catalog. This has happened to me at least 5 times so far.
I attempted to order a pair of jeans. Had them in my cart and found a coupon code that brought the price from $49 to $35. Went to check out and decided to set up an account so I'd have a record. When I got back to my cart, the code was gone and price was back at $49. Saw where teachers could get a discount. Went through the steps for that. Went to the website from the email they sent that included the teacher discount. Those jeans were nowhere to be found. Waited awhile and tried again as a guest and got the price again to $35. Was going to check out as a guest, but couldn't and lost the discount again. Decided to try and chat with someone. Wrote out all that had gone on and they connected me to someone and immediately disconnected... Problem after problem! Very disappointed.
My husband and daughter went to JCrew at Shops of Nanuet, NY. A skinny talk blonde and a short brown haired salesgirls acted very snobbish when they entered the store. They were not that helpful. People should not judge other people fir the way they dress. My husband spent a lot of money to my gifts and should have been treated with respect. Toward the end one gave him gift boxes for my cashmere sweaters. Please try to hire friendly and non discriminatory personnel. I don't know if I will be shopping there anymore. It's a shame there is beautiful clothing in that store.
I can't imagine how anyone can order anything at China website. Prices are rediculous. They are already higher than on other J. C. websites plus taxes, customs fees etc. I understand, most of networks consider taxes as a customer responsibility which is fine with me. I don't understand how other networks have way lower taxes for China (e.g. outnet.com) or pay taxes themselves (e.g. Raffaello-network). Upon check in the final price is almost double. No promotion for China usually. Things of 2 years ago collection are still on sale for the same prices... Apparantly, J. C. Is not interested 8n this country.
I placed an order on 3 October 2018 and the order did not arrive. After enquiring multiple times I was told the parcel had been lost and that I would be reimbursed in 10 business days. I have now had to follow up the reimbursement 4 times. It's 10 December 2018 and I have not been reimbursed and I have not received the order.
This was my first shopping experience with Jcrew and it has been the worst retail experience I have had - it is completely unsatisfactory.
To place an order which never arrives and then need to follow it up multiple times only to be told it is lost and then to need to chase up the reimbursement is embarrassing for Jcrew.
If Jcrew valued customers you would have re-sent me my original order free of charge and made the reimbursement immediately.
Who in the world doesn't like Jcrew!? Fast delivery, Best quality, Good customer service and good sale prices! :) I've bought 2 pants to die for from their website on sale and the quality is perfect. The funny thing is that I bought them on sale. I will always continue to shop from them.
I paid for an item in full but they opened up a credit card in my name and started sending me late fees. The item itself had to be returned four times before they got it right. When I tried to discuss with the bank who runs JCREW credit cards, Miss Fitzgerald, she was too uppity to be of any assistance and didn't make an effort to redact the unjustified late fees. They have bullied and harassed me over a measley forty dollars, Do not under any circumstances do business with this company.
Given the site was offering a deep discount offered online so I thought I would tried J. Crew. I order 2 pants, one for my 8 years old son and one for me, size S. Both he items arrived did not match the photos but I figure my son's pant is alright since he will grow. But mine was at least 2 times bigger and wider and just not possible for me to wear. I didn't need to get a refund but was hoping at least I could return and get a store credit or to exchange another item even if I need to pay for shipping. But guess what, ABSOLUTELY ZERO RESPONSE from J. Crew. I tried both their website and also writing an email, just NOTHING! This is the worst fashion company ever, no wonder why I have not order from them before and will never order from them.
Maria was the manager on duty when I called to tell her I thought I had been overcharged for several items I had purchased. She looked up the transaction and adjusted the prices and was SO SO very professional, efficient, and POLITE. It was impressive! It can't not recognize that kind of customer service.

I went to JCrew at Columbus Circle yesterday, and Briana help me to find the stuff from other's store by calling some stores, it's very nice of her. And today I come back to the store to get something else. Now I love JCrew cuz of her service impressions. Next time when comeback I will open the store card
I ordered items and jCrew sent to addresses from 4+ years ago and wanted me to call UPS to fix it when it was obviously their online order system that made the mistake - never will shop there again…..
I was always afraid to purchase items online. This situation, even more, proves that I should not have done it. The terms of delivery are too long and the item is of low quality.
I have a lot of J Crew stuff. Their stuff is a little more expensive but the quality is totally worth it. Clothes still like new after over 10 washes. Going back to buy more stuff from them soon :)
I love JCrew T-shirt's! Unfortunately, not even 24 hours of wearing this T-shirt it has six holes. Bought ten of the same T-shirt's. Extremely disappointed.
I went to the Nags head outlet mall at OBX. One of the associate asked me if i need a size and all the while i thought she was that sincere so i told her i needed size 4. She came back with size 4 and threw the size 4 top in the floor. She could have place it on top of the door but no, she threw it in the floor and that was really really RUDE! I happen to get her name cuz shes also the one who help me at the register. Cashier CYNTHIA. I also work in a retail store and that is just a big NO NO!
