Fraudulent organisation. Be very Careful with Iyogi. Do not provide them with your VISA credit card number. I utilised Iyogi in May 2014 and paid with a my VISA card. In May 2015 they have charged by VISA Card again for the same amount - withour my authority. I have not spoken to Iyogi for 12 months, however they have charged by VISA with no authority. I have not asked for any additional help. BEWARE!
I have good results with iyogi the problem is when I have to talk to someone on the phone I cant understand what they are telling me communications is not good so that's why I use live help when using the phone the communications needs to be better so I can understand better but besides that everything is fine
Company owes me 130$, and has been avoiding me.
This company IS a scam, and I hope Washington State sues the pants off them in their new lawsuit!

I have been an IYOGI customer now for many years and must say my experiences with the IYOGI service has been really great. With computer issues, big and small, I have had over these years on both desktop and laptop computers IYOGI technicians have been really great, have resolved my issues for the most part in one session, are very understanding of my problems and answer related questions via online help in a very responsible and easy to understand way.
One negative thing I have experienced is that in some instances during verbal communication, it has been a little difficult for me to understand the technician due to his/her command of English - I might add however this has only occurred a couple of times and we got through it - that's the primary reason I have rated the service as 4 star and not 5 star.
I do like the IYOGI Genie and use this little fellow on a regular basis to identify and resolve issues to keep my computer running smoothly.
Signing with I Yogi was one of the best decisions that I have made for my Computer Services. Your technician are a pleasure to work with, in addition to being very courteous and knowledgeable.
Overall, excellent. Quite competent, pleasant technicians, and easily accessible. My only complaint is the "pushiness" of some of them. As with all salesmen anywhere, they can be obnoxious sometimes.
Never deal with overseas support companies! They took the money in advance for five years and just fricking disappeared! SO UPSET...
Who do I turn to now with this issue?
IYOGI.COM IS A SCAM -- BECAREFUL THEY HAVE MANY OTHER WEBSITES SET UP FOR TECH SUPPORT SCAMS
USE THE USA BASED GEEK SQUAD OR LOCAL TECH SUPPORT - DON; T USE INDIAN SCAMMERS...
BTW... I AM MARRIED TO AN INDIAN WOMEN -- NO PREJUDICE HERE
I had to get help to remove Microsoft 365 from my new computer and Install Microsoft office. I had purchased my Office
From iYogi and the program would not install properly, iYogi did a great job find the problem and repairing my computer and having me up and running guickly with out very little down time.
Oct 27 2009, I became a client of "IYOGI" not being computer literate, i wanted a source of dependable help, prior to iyogi i was involved with another company called
"SMART FRIEND" I was not satisfied with the help i got from them so i changed & have been with "IYOGI" for 6yrs and it's working out fine, i call as many times as i need help & they are always there,& if 1 tech can't resolve my issue, every effort is made by contacting senior techs or supervisor or escalating to specialist level 3,& i usually get a call from senior staff to ensure my issue is resolved satisfactorily.
PS. Yes i can name a company i was dissatisfied with, after all it's my dime.
I was calling CISCO for Windows upgrade unbeknownst to me after person telling me he can help etc when we proceed it was iyogi. They double charged me for a product I couldn't use. They, after much argument, gave me a refund minus $25.00 shipping fee & had to pay $25.00 to return ( those fees a rip off) Then I discover they billed me twice. When I was paying they said the charge didn't go through. I thought that eas odd I have a zero balance. I'm questioning them about this and a different person (supervisor) and tells me it didn't go through. I give another card. This happened 2/27/15 I still haven't received the refund. THE AMOUNT OF CALLS, HOLD TIME, ARGUING, PROMISES. I am their worst nightmare cause I'm not going away! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS!
After receiving my e-mail exclaiming my dissatisfaction with the level of service, iYogi Customer Service is canceling my account and providing a full refund for a service agreement initiated in January 2015.
Since I signed up with iYogi: my computer is running great. Help is just a click away and that makes my life a lot less complicated. The agents are so patient and helpful when I have a problem.
I just had a bad experience with Iyogi, having been steered there by Avast's website. After declining Iyogi's subscription services, they offered to have a technician work on my system to remove a suspected virus. He loaded MalwareBytes, ran a quick scan which did not find any malware. Then he began going through the user directories deleting desktop. Ini files, no big deal, but he also deleted boot. Ini and io. Sys from the root. Then he tells me to reboot. I chat back, asking if the pc is expected to boot after deleting the boot. Ini. He responds that yes, it will, that it is one of the commonly infected files. Hey, boot. Ini is clear text -- we could have opened it in Notepad and seen if there was any problem with it! So I let him proceed with the reboot and get stopped when XP can't find hal. Oh well, I was about ready to reformat that hard drive and reinstall anyway. So, I won't be recommending Iyogi, and I will now stop recommending Avast since they sent me there. Any opinions on the best AV software these days?
IYogy is the best site I have ever used. Fast, courteous, and very knowledgeable on all systems. I have been helped when not even the product engineers could help.
On a whole my experience has been very good. At times I have had to call back a second time. I don't like to be pressured into buying something. I would recommend Iyogi to my friends.
Billing system, I was charge twice. They told to me to let it pend for a couple of days and I should receive my money. Its fishy, also software is not included and they do not reinforce that enough in the beginning. To me I was thinking this company provided a service of: providing you with, free software online, making your PC run better, smoother, and faster. Which they did so after paying them for the over priced software. Never the less I was charged. Today $169.99 Twice(pending), a $29.99 fee, a $162.99 upgrading to windows 8, and lastly a pricey antivirus software also $139.99. Before actually thinking of purchasing from these guys make sure to have some dough. I liked the knowledgable technician, and the sale person. Over all the experience was in my record a solid 8 out 10. The pricing on software is the real downside to this. Expensive and not enough emphasis in the beginning. Contrary to popular belief, It makes customer feel like the company is fishy, liars, and not very transparent. I hope they improve way to stress this to the customer before hand.
I YOGI HAS ALWAYS BEEN QUICK AND HELPFUL IN SOLVING ALL MY COMPUTER PROBLEMS. ALL EXPLANATIONS HAVE BEEN CLEAR AND UNDERSTANDABLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND IYOGI TO ANYONE NEEDING
HELP WITH COMPUTER OR PRINTER. I WOULD GIVE IYOGI A 5 STAR RATING.
I have had a support contract with them for 3 computers for several years. This past year they have not only talked me into renewing and THEN telling me I needed to purchase additional software, NOW I get no response when I try and get online support!
I am not at ALL happy about having spent all this money and now they don't answer.
ROYAL RIPOFF!
MY EXPERIENCE WITH IYOGI HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD ONE. I AM 63 YEARS OLD AND MY COMPUTER SKILLS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THAT OF A 25 YEAR OLD SO I DEPEND ON IYOGI TO HELP WITH THE PROBLEMS THAT COME UP AS DO ON EVERYONES COMPUTERS BUT I ALSO APPRECIATE THE HELP THEY GIVE ME ON WHAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD CONSIDER VERY SIMPLE PROBLEMS TO WORK THROUGH. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY KIND AND PATIENT WITH THIS 63 YEAR OLD AND I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT.
Answer: Oh, please, how many people are you willing to let "piggyback" on your lawsuit? I'm so fed up with scammers/shoddy services from companies. IYogi played a good game in the beginning but now it is in the proverbial toilet.
