I think your experience will depend on the individual iPostal1 mail center you use. There's no way to know in advance which mail centers are any good, and if you end up with a bad one, it is a huge hassle to change your address a second time. IPostal1 offers no quality control from one mail center to another. Unfortunately, our mail center sometimes scans items (which turn out fine), but sometimes instead of scanning, they just photograph items with a phone, which occasionally end up completely illegible. There is no way to request a re-scan of an item. And there is no way to insist that they use the actual scanner instead of the phone. Our business is now faced with the difficult decision of whether to go through the cost and embarrassment of changing our business address for the second time in one month, or whether we should accept that some mail items will simply be illegible and there is nothing we can do about it.

I made a big mistake by opening account with such people. These people are fraud, after getting your subscription fee then they will require some documents from you and when you submit those documents to them then they will take weeks to reply to you. It is my duty to inform all of you before getting into their trap. When you contact them for some problem then they will tell you contact your mail center. When you contact mail center then you have to wait for weeks to get any reply. In short do your research before you fall in trap of such fraud company.

The USPS requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. If forms are submitted, they are reviewed and approved if in order. We ask that you give 2-3 business days turnaround time for your documents to be approved.

I tried this service because I moved out of the U.S. I had one very important item I needed them to forward to me. It was government documents that included (among other things) my birth certificate. After they shipped it to me it was lost. I never received it. I don't send a lot of snail mail so I assumed everything now has a tracking number. That was my mistake. IPostal has clearly stated all of this is my fault. They even provided me a screenshot of a computer screen that says the cheapest shipping option that I chose has no tracking. Ok but I didn't use a computer. I used the iPostal app and on their app it does not say "no tracking" on any of the options (see screen shot attached). Why specify "no tracking" on the web page but not the app? The customer service is not very good especially at the branch office where my mail is sent. They didn't respond to multiple emails. I finally had to pay to call them from Asia in order to get any answers. The call wasn't expensive but why provide a customer service email if you just intend to ignore it?

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment.
