I'm a new customer. I did some research among competitors and decided to go with iPostal1. A few YouTubers recommended it and when doing my own research, I found out the company is legit for one, I liked their story, it's one of the first of its kind, I liked the simple straight forward offering and the price was right given my needs. Notarizing the form was a pain for me. I didn't use the online service the company partners with to notarize I went to my local notary given it was $15 cheaper. I couldn't upload the form on the website due to issues with the site and so began a bit of a saga.
I do appreciate that the issue was able to be resolved without anyone losing their cool, awesome examples of intelligent and balanced human beings, myself included ;). The customer support was a mix of I'm being decent because it's my job and I can tell where you're coming from Ms. Customer let me do what I can to make it better. Also, the partner location I had was nice, dependable, well known, which is comforting but I also got the impression of possible tension between iPostal1, and its satellite location partners which I hope I imagined because I really like the setup.
At the end of the day, I don't expect perfection things happen, real people have problems, but I do expect real insight, and an appropriate degree of empathy and not taking it personally. I am glad both iPostal1 and their partners were able to deliver that to a high degree. IPostal1 made up for the drama and I appreciate them recognizing what it was like on my side of the experience. So not a stellar start for me but I give 'em 4 stars overall.
The solution provided by your company is needed and unique.
I had an issue (I didn't follow up as I don't have time). A package that was delivered to my iPostal mailbox, I requested it, to be delivered to y home (paid service). However, I never saw my package yet!

This is my first time trying out a virtual mailbox. So far it seems to be working out good. I like that it's affordable and I have a street address to use as well.
It has been a great experience! Customer service is responsive and quick to resolve any issues, which have been few.

Works for what I needed it for. The only thing that is frustrating is that I pay a dollar every time I have to pick up mail (envelope) on top of the annual fee.

Since it does take time and labor to process a pickup task, there is a nominal charge. All fees for the optional services provided are listed on the Pricing page on our website and details on pickup fees are available by each address listing.
It is designed this way to allow each customer to choose exactly which functions they would like to use or not use.

Just started my small business in March and needed a business address to send and receive mail and ipostal1 was the perfect choice and a great low price!
So here's the problem with iPostal1.
You're not actually doing business with "them".
You're doing business with (most likely) a Staples or some other type of store.
The problem with that is, those stores are doing hundreds of other things for other customers, and generally speaking don't care to manage your service the way they should.
In my case, I like the fact that local pickup is an option - except when it wasn't, thanks to COVID.
Then I had to rely on the timing of the scan service, and this is where it all fell apart.
First there were issues getting the 1583 completed. Doing it through the portal, the store acted like they never got anything from me. Called iPostal1 who confirmed that the site had a bad email address listed. Not my fault and I question why they're not paying attention to this, or how many other customers were left in the dust due to this.
When I completed my college program, I had them send the stuff to this address as I didn't want to risk it getting misplaced by the local USPS guy; that was a mistake, as the Staples in N Las Vegas showed no record of having received it weeks after the school sent it.
Come to find out, they DID receive it, but never bothered scanning it and couldn't explain why not nor could they verify when they actually received it or who did.
The guy who was apparently the manager was willing to drive it over to me, but there's just no acceptable reason why mail should not be immediately scanned - and it seemed like they just don't prioritize the service. That means I can't trust timing - I've had at least three mailings that required urgent response, either not get scanned or get scanned weeks later. That's not acceptable.
I called iPostal1 for help and they couldn't do anything, because it's basically a franchise. If the store you request sucks, you're just stuck. You can change stores, but there's only one that's close.
That's why this is three stars. IPostal1 should be the DEFINITIVE AUTHORITY over the service. If customers aren't getting served like they need to be, iPostal1 should have authority to force changes to the store to get the stuff fixed AND to issue credits. They can't. That's a problem.

A problem like an incorrect email address is extremely uncommon, but that does not mitigate the inconvenience you experienced.

Overall very good. One piece of mail was delivered late to iPostal but I can't blame iPostal. I can view my mail online and later go in and pick up my mail. In the event I move, I am not sure how to handle picking up my mail. By that, I mean do I have to change my address for delivery which is the same I use for my small business.

Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable.
