I am very pleased with the whole service from the receipt of the shipping box, to the point of getting them all back safely once completed. I saw videos for the first time of my dad before he became handicapped (at the young age of 37!) I was only 1.5 years old and had never seen / remembered this side of him and his personality. It was priceless. It brought tears to my mom's eyes (who was VERY skeptical) of me doing this. The service is priceless. If you can only afford to do 1-2 at a time, do them! It is worth it. I will be coming back for more. The my kids and nephews and nieces never met their grandfather. It was emotional for me to be able to share these.
All scanning was done as advertised. I was kept up to date on the process and loved seeing the old photos and 8mm films again!

I converted my wedding 8 mm tapes from 45 years ago. Most of them turns out pretty good but part of it not that good. My VHS tapes turned out pretty good. The only I have concerned about is when I tried to download it takes a long time some files I have to wait for a day or two to g it.
Also, I was charged for shipping the tapes back but haven't heard about it either.
I was so happy to see these videos again. Especially those of my first grandchild who is now 22 years old. The quality was great and I would recommend iMemories to anyone. Thank you.
The whole process was easy and timely. However several of my videos have audio out of sync when people are talking. Need to find out if that was an issue with original or an issue with the transfer process.

I have had dozens of VHS converted by iMemories and the overall experience has been great. The quality is really good and the interface is super easy to use!
Some of my memories could of used more tracking. It's hard to see a lot of the picture.
I sent old 8mm and Super 8 movies. Everything went as scheduled. I was able to download all my digitized movies after about 3 weeks. Wish I had done this earlier. I plan on sending old photos next. Thanks iMemories.
Seeing these movies again felt like a reunion with the family. They were shared with other family members making Christmas 2020 so special. This was most important because we couldn't be together due to COVID.
Process was easy, great as long as you're not in a rush took like 6 weeks and unable to process 2 of the tapes.
The copyright application is disappointing and I would not have used iMemories had I known that your policy was zero tolerance. Perhaps there should be some logic applied to a local newscast that is nearly 30 years old. At some point it becomes historical and not a liability risk, or perhaps have the customer verify in writing that he/she is the legal owner of the material and takes full responsibility for any alleged copyright infringement. Possibly you could hire a third party that would assume liability for checking the tapes and making the call. Also, none of the tapes appear to have been corrected or improved in your process. They look identical to when viewed in the digital camera. I see no difference
IMemories was great to work with on digitizing our VHS and VHSC tapes, prices were reasonable, and website is easy to navigate. Our children and grandchildren have loved viewing these old movies and reminiscing about their childhood. We had couple of issues on particular tapes but when I called they were wonderful to get those issues resolved promptly and to insure we were happy with the service. I purchased the yearly plan for storage so that the rest of the family could access the tapes as well and felt it was a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this company if you want to preserve old movies or pictures.
