The process worked very smoothly for me. A friendly telephone support answered all my questions. One bit of information she gave me was the most helpful. You can order the original photos in separate albums. Just place them in separate bags in the order wanted and label them. She also clarified that for videos that you request a blank check, you're only charged $. 99 if blank, but it will be converted if it contains data for the regular fee.
My only confusion was during the download after completion. It turns out to be easy, you just have to wait for the email that says the download is ready (some took quite a bit of time), then follow the link to the download.
Shipping my materials of was easy to do. I was kept informed on the progress and received all of my materials back in a timely manner. The quality of some of the oldest tapes aren't perfect but I don't blame the company for this. They are definately viewable. I was so nervous sending off all our memories but am extremely pleased with the whole process. Thank you
Used this to digitalize my old photos for a special event. Ordered the photo stick and needed it asap, paid for Fed Ex next day and it ended up being held up in transit and did not receive for 5 days. Not happy with Fed Ex. If you have issues with other customers, you may want to consider a different carrier.

I delayed sending my pictures and videos for years because I thought I could just take pictures of the pictures or technology would allow me to convert my videos on my own eventually. But they still sat in a box in my closet. I finally sent them in this year and it was the BEST decision. It has been such a joy to see the old videos of my kids and well worth the money!
