Terrific. I spoke with Stacy yesterday. I got the help I needed on how to manage the downloading. She gratefully extended my digitals til Jan 31st which I greatly appreciate as we deal with covid and the holidays. I really need that time.
I reviewed the files and they look fine. I'm sharing them with my family tomorrow at Christmas. I haven't received the originals back yet.

Customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the shipping box, packed 4 different types of video tapes from several decades. The ones from the 70's were faded somewhat, but they digitally transformed them back! They were finished and returned safely much sooner than expected. My daughters were very excited to receive a flash drive of their baby movies all the way through most of their children's lives also for Christmas. We are delighted with the results, and will certainly use them again.

Overall it went very smoothly! The process was easy and the tapes were converted quite quickly. One tape couldn't be converted but based on some information I sent them they are trying again at no cost to me. Since I was able to view the tape just before I sent it to them it was disappointing that it couldn't be converted. I immediately sent in another set of tapes to have them done. I love that the tapes are broken up into individual files if there are multiple things on it. Additionally, you get free access to their storage option for 30 days and you are able to do what you want with the files at that time. I downloaded them to my computer and then put them on thumb drives to share.

We are getting ready to be empty nesters and wanted to relive the memories of when the kids were little. IMemories made our old VCR tapes and CD's easy to watch and store. We have all enjoyed spending time watching them!
Very good customer service. My only complaint is that I expected the tracking to be adjusted better before the copying to digital began. They said it was the best they could get but I would've thought they had better equipment and expected better.
I am so impressed with services I received from IMemories. The care of my tapes was very important to me as these tapes were 50 years old. Precious memories of our two children and our parents can't be replaced. Thank you!

Converting my old camcorder tapes to digital has been on the list for quite a while. IMemories made it easy by providing a prepackaged shipping kit. Once the kit was sent back the turnaround was great and the videos came out really well. I really appreciate that the stop/start on each tape I provided was turned into its own mp4 for me to share with others of a specific event.
Everything turned out perfect! I found videos I forgot were even there! Thank you!
The people doing the conversion did an excellent job. I had trouble downloading them to my computer because they were zip files and I didn't have the software to open them correctly. I contacted tech and they emailed me a link for a zip file app but being a non techie I was not able to use it properly without help. I called a friend who helped me get past it. It would have been helpful if Imemories tech could have taken me through it considering the amount of money I spent on the order.
This friend also noted that the files were now public files and that surprised me. I know I can password protect them but I was not told that information by Imemories.
Those are the two reasons for a 4 star instead of a 5 star
