My father passed away and I found some old camcorder tapes of his but had no idea what was on them so I decided to use this service. The process was so easy from start to finish. I received a digital link that had family videos of me as a child with my dad. I'm so thankful to have these memories. This service was so worth it for me.
It was a little expensive but pretty good experience
IMemories did a GREAT job converting my old VHS, old slides and an old reel to reels to a digital format. The digital formats were up on a website for a month, and I was able to save them to my computer for safe keeping. I have also received my originals back. Well worth the money. I highly recommend this company.
IMemories claims they restore and convert old 8 mm movies and /or camcorder videos so that they can be viewed and saved digitaly. The truth is they only can work with film and/or video that's in pristine condition. If the film has any mold on it they won't work with it yet they don't tell you that up front. You find out after you've sent in and paid for your order.

Everything was sent great with no damage. However, there were multiple parts on 2 different videos that weren't uploaded. It was one of the reasons why I did imemories.
I thought I was paying for my two vhs tapes to be converted to digital which they did but then they want to charge for cloud storage! Very confusing.
I was impressed with the speed that I received my order and was delighted with the old memories.
Havent figured out how to order the ones i want. Need to call and see how. I will soon.
IMemories converted my old VHS tapes that I've had in my basement for over 25 years to digital format. I'm so pleased with the quality of the footage, I wasn't expecting it! I'm now able to share with friends & family!

Quality of 2 or 3 (of around 30) was impossible to watch due to distortion, however, the majority are of excellent quality.
Having a problem downloading and saving so I'll call support.
I'm only disappointed in that the movies will not stay on my computer. I guess I didn't read the fine line saying that. I thought I paid for permanent conversion.

I tried to complain on site about the quality - never get a replay, they don't bother to answer. My video tape been digitized but all the VHS problem which should be fixed with professional VCR Been transfer to file. I don't think they even watch the ending result of their work. Nothing been done to fix synchronization and quality of the record. My VCR actually play it a lot better then the result I got from "Professional" recording. The price is not cheap, FEDEX just drop the parcel at my garage door, no signature been asked, they did not even come to the front door and did not ring the bell... Not iMemories problem but still, why would you make business with company which did not care about delivery? If you really value your memories - stay away from that company as far as possible. I will order VIDEO to USB dongle and make the transfer of the rest of my collection of precious memories by my self. It will save me money on the long run.
