I wasn't sure about the quality of our VHS tapes, but they were converted to digital it was done well and I was able to download them easily. Then I shared portions of them to family members.
I was basically pleased with the results. I found it difficult to share like I wanted to. I had to buy a membership... but had already paid for the tapes. Anyway, they did give me a good discount up front.
I'm sure that this is some how my fault but when I found this web sight. I read that it was 14.99 and they were going to send me a prepaid box and I send them my movies or whatever it is I want converted. I did all of the above and that is what happened next. Once they fot my video they uploaded it to there website and gave me a free trial for 30 days. Where either I pay more money (thank God I only had 1 VHS) to have them make me a DVD it would have been another 19.99 plus shipping. Or If I had a computer I could download and make my own. DVD.,(I did) then I had to pay another 14.99 for them to mail me my original tape back to me. So I ended up paying 30.00 plus tax to mail them my one VHS and it back to me. And that God I was able to make my own DVD or else in all the one VHS to DVD would have ended up costing me over 60.00 and that is a bit much and ridiculous in my opinion. I just I guess wasn't what I understood was going to happen when I first seen this add. Just think the should be more clear telling people your will pay to and and receive your original movies back and that it will be more that 14.99.
I was surprised that there was so much content on those tapes. In the midst of daily life I had forgotten that we had recorded them as often as we did. The iMemories content is a treasure trove of my children's early years. I can't stop watching!
I anticipated that seeing our family's old 16 mm movies in digital form would bring up powerful emotions, and it did, but I didn't anticipate another benefit - being able to easily share the footage with other family members. So the impact of the work iMemories did rippled out way past my front door.
One other comment: after the original stock had spent decades sitting around in cardboard boxes in varying conditions of heat and humidity, I figured I'd get a note saying some, or all, of the film had degraded past the point where it could be digitized. Not true! IMemories transferred everything. Service was fast, delivery secure.

We sent our video cassettes and received the digital link to download within the 3 week window they promised. It's so nice to have them in this format. We've put them on a couple of thumb drives so that we can give them to our adult kids and they can enjoy them. It's been wonderful to watch them again after not seeing them in years!
They kept me notified of every step of the way so I knew when it was happening and what was happening. Great job.

I had the video cassette of my 21st birthday for 22 years before I had seen it. I took the video with me all over the world and had no idea how to view it since VHS had become obsolete. When I came across iMemories I thought I'd give it a go. The entire process was easy and professional. I handed it over in the pre-labeled package. Received the digital format very soon after. Was able to watch it no issues. And they returned the original tape. All in all a great experience.
I love it that I can see my memories now that had been put away for so many years because we were unable to watch them. I did receive a surprise though. I believed that paying the price I had paid which was over $400 to have them converted that the videos were mine on I memories. Then I received the email that said I have to pay $7.99 or $49.99 a month to keep them there. Was not expecting that. And it wasn't as bad for me as for my husband who it was hard to even get him to pay the $400 in the first place. Then I had to try to explain to him why we have to continue paying money to be able to co to use to access them.
