I PAID OVER $90 THEY SAID THEY CAN'T DO IT AND THEY ONLY REFUND $31 WICH NEVER RECIVED EITHER...

Imemories was good during the process of shipping and receiving my videotapes. I ordered the digital Imemories Cloud for $49 a year and forgot to renew. Imemories deleted my 160 videos after the year membership. I was sad my digital memories were gone.
Update: Imemories reprocessed my order. The quality is great. I ordered USB drives so now I have permanent digital copies. Heather with customer service was great. She went above and beyond to help. I am so pleased. I would definitely recommend Imemories to my friends and family.

I apologize for any confusion with the process. We can not store every customer's videos in our system indefinitely. We have a cloud storage plan available for customers who do want to have continued online access of their videos. We also offer our customers three other options to save their memories after the digital conversion is complete. You can order customized DVDs, USB flash drives or download and save to your devices.

* Not long after posting this review the company was in touch with me and has settled the issue. I feel redeemed! Quite honestly I am surprised at the quick response from this company. I have revised my initial review. I still wish there was better pricing or estimate communication but I am satisfied with what was done to resolve the issue.

I had complained about iMemories but they have now resolved the situation and they will as well review their website so it is clearer what size of box you will receive.
Using iMemories was so easy. From receiving the box to return my precious videotapes and home movies in to receiving the digital files online to view. There were so many memories to remember and share. I should have done this a long time ago.

IMemories missed one of my videos saying it was damaged. I was pretty sure you mixed it up with another video. I emailed twice asking to recheck. Each time I was told it arrived damaged and could not be transferred. After I received my DVDs back I checked and it was perfectly fine. I have had someone else make me a digital copy but now I cannot get it to upload onto the website with my other videos.
I do not know what to do. I thought it would be a nice project, not so for me.
I thought I would actually get discs. I got dizzy trying to preview videos.
I think I just wasted $200.

This process was so easy and I put it off for so long. I now have converted all my old 8mm tapes to digital. So exciting to watch those videos from 20 and 30 years back.

As advertised, My videos and photos were promptly digitized and made available for easy download. I would have much preferred a bit higher resolution, but this is far better than nothing. Also pretty expensive. I have a LOT more to digitize so I guess I'll have to face the fact that I'll need to do the rest of it myself! Good service from iMemories though.

Hi Suzie, When iMemories attempts account renewal failure to bill results in a billing attempt every day for 15 days, and an email is sent out each day payment cannot be processed. Later, when the media becomes eligible for deletion, we send out additional email warnings with the timeline on the deletion date. We do store the media for a period of time after the account fails to renew, but ultimately we cannot store media indefinitely at no cost. In this case, we did store the media on file for over a year after the failure to renew. It looks like we offered some assistance in getting the media re-processed via email correspondence. We do offer files you can download, USB drives, and DVDs if the subscription is not something you want after re-processing the media.
