Frustrated to say the least. I wish I had read the reviews. Firstly, if you have a place in a mall who can unlock your phone do it. This is the process. I ran a check for 3 dollars that came back with the correct information. After the check, they don't transfer the information, but bank on the fact that you will make a mistake on the entry. That was me. I paid 25.00 for the unlock, not realizing that this was only a prepayment. Then I was stuck. I had to pay 35.00 to finish only to be told that I had entered the wrong network. They were so nice that the refunded me 35.00. I then ran the report feeling that the voucher allowed me to run the report again only to find out that this covered the prepayment and not the additional 60.00 to actually unlock the phone. I emailed the company at the website listed on all of the complaints and received a standard reply. This means I spent over 150.00 to unlock a phone that still isn't unlocked. I am both angry and frustrated.
Paid around 30 dollars initially for unlock then they demanded around 50 dollars which was also paid. Then again for premium service, I paid extra 15 dollars, but still they haven't unlocked. Sent many follow up emails, but haven't received any response back.
They have asked for 28$ to unlock my iPad with activation lock. I've paid them but then they asked for purchase receipt or owner's contact details to progress otherwise I have to pay 42$ to unlock my iPad. I've provided them with the contact details yet didn't get anything and sent them a mail they replied that they made me a discount and I need to pay another 32$ to unlock even though I provided the contact details.
I thought they are different from other sites, turns out all are same scam.
They will just take your money and ask for more. They will even direct you to a website http://cleancheck.me to support their reason of unable to unlock, but this website is also part of their modus.
I tried buying their services and make them unlock my old phone which I purposely locked. They came back and offered the "premium service" voucher as they unable to unlock and started to ask more money. This is the time I started asking for refund.
My old phone is still OK and still able to setup as I know my icloud password.
Don't ever fall for their modus. I can imagine how rich these scammers now. Looking at min of $150 per victim and there will be thousands of potential victim.
I read from another review site that this scammer has changed its company name to Doctorunlock and continue their modus. People behind this scam should go to jail!
First they told me they will unlock my icloud for $28 then after two days they send me email to make the final payment that's meaning they check my imei and they ready to unlock my iPhone so i pay $42 then they send me email saying my iPhone is in blacklist stolen/lost and i have to wait for premium service and pay them $49.99 but i have approve that is a lie and i send them the tax bill for my iPhone and screenshot from others website that saying my imei is clean
But they refuse to refund me money to my credit card that i pay with it.
And today they send me mail saying that the premium service is available but i have to pay £49.99 and wait for 30 days to finished the process
I don't recommend this website. It's a Scaaaaaam.
Total Scam do not be tempted. They start off cheap and then come back after a few days with some story of how you need a premium service as your phone was reported stolen or lost. In my case I legitimately owned the phone and non of their lies applied. I bailed out before the final USD70 commitment because I had already spent close on USD90 to get there. They offer no guarantee which is their cop-out.
Times are tough and I HATE companies that are still willingly scamming people.
The initial payment you make is to pre-order the unlock... not the unlocking itself. It's very deceitful. Also the pre-order is in USD then the unlocking fee is quoted in UK pounds. Extremely weird. I paid $28 USD for the "pre-unlocking" then they ask for 50 pounds to actually unlock it. Don't trust them.
They say they will do i cloud unlock, i paid full amount, and now they saying our services are down for i cloud removal, they gave me voucher as they cant unlock my phone instead of money they gave voucher for another iPhone unlock, i tried another phone and its same that our services are currently down, and when i tried with different email and different phone they again accepting payment online. This is fraud company.
Excellent service, unlocked my Iphone in the established time, I am very happy with the results, I was able to follow up all the time to the progress of the unlock and at the end I was notified immediately.
Thank you...
TOTAL SCAM. Beware!
First they said my iPhone SE is unlockable. Paid the first time. After two days they replied to me saying they are ready to unlock.
They asked for more money to finish the job. Paid the second time.
After two days they said they cannot unlock the phone and cannot return the money. Lost USD 80 in the process.
Site is not working, only catch money and after that give system email reply.
I'm spend about GBP £122.98 (USD $172), and after 3 monts nothing. Phone isn't unlock, no reply, breach refund policy.
I'm spend many time and many emails for refund, but without money!
This company is a total fraud and ai honestly urge you not to risk losing your hard earned money. At first they assured me %100 ability to unlock both of my phones which were still under contract with at&t and were extremely quick to respond, until you pay them the money then good luck hearing back again. After over a MONTH waiting they simply lied and sent a notification saying my phones were blacklisted/stolen. I showed them proof they are CLEAN through reputable IMEI checker websites but I still never heard back from them.
Hello DoctorUnlock, I could read everywhere online that you were scams but I gave you the benefit of the doubt but it is confirmed that you are, You could have told me it was Activation lock and can't work rather than collecting my $70 and doing nothing. I want my refund before I take some crazy measure.
Thanks.
I made two orders to IMEIDoctor and each time they couldn't unlock my phone but asked for more money for a "premium" unlock service to do it which was supposed to be "resuming" soon as they said the phone was reported lost/stolen according to an IMEI checking website they quoted which I believe is also a scam.
My advice is to save your money and put it towards a phone or motherboard from a reputable supplier. Alternatively take it to Apple if you have the original invoice when the phone was first sold or ask the seller to remove the phone from their iPhone account.
I ended up cancelling my credit card due to this outfit.
Please avoid!
The offer a percentage of completion as reference, once it's 100% they just make you wait, I still waiting for it it's been 5 weeks and two weeks ago it was 100%. I paid for an imei check, they said it was clean, and they said it was 100% sure that they will unlock my phone. After 2 months they said my imei is blacklisted, they suggested other sites to see that my imei now is blacklisted. They offered a coupon, what am I supposed to do with a coupon? I lost around 180 dollars with doctorunlock. Their customer support reply after 4 days and says nothing, just standard emails that looks like automated responses.
More than 30 days nothing happen and not answers e mails my track older go on 66% since octoner 5 is november 10 they say unlock in 1 to 30 days. I try to contact then only reponds with automatic email not actual answer i will contact the credit card procesing company they use to report then too
I needed to do an iCloud unlock of an iPhone XR and found there site. Looked at site that gave favourable reviews and went ahead with the order that required a 28USD payment upfront. Then they say they need another 48USD before proceeding. When I asked them if they would guarantee that they could do the unlock they didn't reply. After 4-5 inquiries they still didn't reply. Then I found other more independent sites that I realized that it was a disreputable outfit. I asked for a refund and told them I would post a negative review and then they replied to inform me that there were no refunds. I am not sure if they could have done the unlock but from my interactions I would say that it was unlikely and that they are not trustworthy. Subsequently I found a firm with good reviews and got the unlock done.
Its be 6 month my phone wasn't unlocked yet. I have emailed 100 times so far and I only got 2 auto reply. They loot money and they don't care to respond to email. I have asked to refund my money but no reply
Well I bought my phone second hand. The previous owner said that he had bought the phone from Spain and that the icloud was locked. Well I checked if the phone was blacklisted. It wasn't! So I trusted this doctor thing. First they send u a like showing all positive reviews. Then you fall for it. I gave some 78 dollars! In my country that's around 6000 INR! I could've literally showered myself with gucci with all of that money. Then they said they can't unlock my phone and didn't even refund my money! Do not trust this scam do not fall for it.! Sam from India
This website is just scammer. They always want additional payment for unlock and they are not informing you before, about these additional payments. Im supprised when I see 168$ additional payment. I paid 3$ for checking my carrier and after that I decided to unlock my phone. I paid 28$ but now they want additional 168$. Now I dont have money. If I knew that they will want additional I would manage myself and try another website or another way. Im waiting to refund my 28$ but I dont thing they will refund it. Dont try to unlock this website. They are just scammer.
Answer: Do not try this they will not unlock your phone and their customer service is automated. I have been waiting six months for my phone to be unlocked. Again do not try look elsewhere.
Answer: They wont refund, and they wont reply. Same thing happen with me and i have lost 100$ unless until your bank do something you might get that money back but this guys are biggest fraud.
Answer: Its a fake website, with fake promisses, better to find some local shop and get it done the work you want to do, i have lost 100$ and now no refund and they stopped responding back.
