I ended up with the wrong shade product with my initial order. I initiated a return, but life got the best of me and I didn't get it out to them before being fully charged. They gave me a coupon for a review and an e-gift for being unable to return in time. When I couldn't use both to cover the purchase of a replacement, they sent one out to me and allowed me to keep the original product at no extra charge! I won't soon forget treatment like that. I have purchased the foundation, brush and concealer. When answering the questioner I specified that I wanted a shiny-glow finished. Unfortunately my skin feels and looks very dry after putting on the foundation. I apply eye cream, moisturizer and beauty oil prior to the foundation and it still feels and looks very dry. The finish is too matte for my taste. The fine lines around my eyes were accentuated and the end result was not what I expected. What I really like is that the color matched very well my skin tone.

I had a 15. Coupon to spend before it expired. I used it to purchase some black card mascara, which I love, online. I almost cancelled my order bc the site was trying to make me order an additional item for 20% off. I didn't want to so I tried to go to check out repeatedly and it would not let me! I was about to give up, then it finally let me go to the next page, and the exact same thing happened again! Finally it said something kind of sarcastic and allowed me to go on and pay to complete the sale.
I am a repeat buyer of several IL Makiage products, but they need to fix this ASAP. No one likes to waste time like that when you know what you want. I appreciate the coupons very much, but not in this frustrating manner. This is the first time this has happened since I've been using their line for about 2 years now. Every time I've spoken with CS rep or emailed with them, they have been fantastic!

The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!
