I was very excited when I received my package from some of the videos I have seen.
Whilst I feel the colour is a good match I don't find that the coverage is very good and feel the foundation is a bit dry.
From the questions I answered I said I liked hydrated and dewy look however feel it is more of a Matt finish.
For $70 I would have thought the quality would have been better.
The lightweight feel is great but again would like to feel more moisturised and more coverage.
I was so skeptical and planned on returning it before I even got my items. I bought the primer, foundation (perfect match by the way) the concealer, translucent powder and setting spray. I didn't need to reapply anything my whole night out. It doesn't feel like I have foundation on and it didn't settle in my creases and fine lines. I did have to apply foundation twice as it's buildible. Covered great the second time. I'm obsessed!
I am mind-blown by my 1st experience with Il Makiage. I received a shade of foundation and concealer that wasn't right for me. They are sending me a new foundation and concealer as we speak and asked several questions to ensure they get the right color to me. Amazon doesn't provide the customer care and satisfaction like Il Makiage does! This is great! I can't wait for my makeup to arrive cuz I know this is great makeup--I know it from putting it on my face even though the shades were initially off. I'm excited to use this brand moving forward and appreciate the reaching out that I experienced after my initial purchase to make it right.
First off I've never been able to find a foundation color that was close to my skin tone and with all the ads and their try before you buy offer, I thought I didn't have anything to lose with placing an order. Unfortunately,I'm sad to say that I still haven't found a foundation that is the perfect color for me. After two attempts with their trials I decided to just return the product. They cared enough about my opinion and unfortunate experience with their company enough to give me a large enough discount to basically try a different product for free. I picked the exfoliator this time in hopes of just improving the overall health of my skin. There aren't many companies that offer this level of great customer service anymore and I can't wait to see the results of this new product.
I think it's too pushy, don't like the idea of reorders for the item. I need to try it before I make my the re orders.

It's easy to shop on the website, the only thing is I wish there was a virtual try on especially for the lipsticks as it is easier to choose the right shade.

Absolute best customer service I have ever had with a company. They saw me comment on social media that my shade was off, and reached out to me personally to ask how they could make it right. They replaced the product, even though I waited months and never even reached out myself to ask for a replacement. I am so impressed.

I did follow all the instructions also reviewed many videos as I did also prior to purchasing.
None of the videos and promotion adds mention that you cannot use make up after application of the product.
Also, my skin is very sensitive and after proper application my skin under my eyes feels irritated and very dry.
Unfortunately, I am not happy with this product and would like to return it for refund.

I tried doing the purchase several times before it actually went through but when it did go thru you all added a coupon which really helped out. I love the primer and the no filter foundation. The foundation however always seems a little light for me especially since Spring is almost here.
Worst response time and they don't remember what I emailed about. Took a whole month to get a response. They even called me someone else's name. Still waiting on my lip color I ordered in January.
I wanted to do the trail before you pay and they charged me the full amount mad about that but will write another review when I get the product
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
